This course is a 5-star experience thanks entirely to the instructor. Her teaching style is phenomenal. Follow Along by Ear: Here's what truly sets her apart. She meticulously explains where to look on the screen, the exact wording you'll see, and the steps to take. This incredible level of detail allows me to follow along entirely by audio! No constantly switching between the instructor and the screen. Beyond the How, the Why: This course goes beyond just teaching Power Query or creating visualizations. Unfortunately I'm unable to find any recent courses by Ms. Trish, but I'll be looking to take any course where she is the instructor.

Thank you Trish and learnit for publishing the whole video in RUclips. I just completed it, and I started as almost a complete noob in PowerBI. Your video made me comfortable with the different options in PowerBi, and also shared the variety of the features of the tool. My mind was blown as I was learning module by module, the last few modules showed how advanced PowerBI is and how much thought Microsoft has put into while making the product. Now I will be practicing on my own, deep diving into data modelling using my own organization data, and trying to buiild new visualizations which were earlier made in SSRS. Thank you once again!! ...
Miss Trish, you are a wonderful teacher with great voice and easy to follow instruction. Thank you for uploading this excellent instructional video on Power BI. Many, many people will benefit from your great knowledge. Thank you.
I haven't seen this but the comments are encouraging. I have issues with reporting and dashboard in Power Bi. I will give this a try and give my feedback.
I am checking this course as part of the path that I am taking to get a power bi certification and I can say that how you speak and explain is by far the best. You have no word crutches or clicks and you have a rich vocabulary. Believe me, those things start to be noticeable after 2 hours. I also appreciate a lot the order and structure of your course. Is this course enough to prepare me for a Microsoft test?
Hi Superman20000! Thank you for the kind words! This course is a great foundation for passing the exam but nothing replaces practice, practice, practice!
This is so far the best Power BI tutorial I've ever tried on RUclips because the teacher is so good at explaining the concepts. At 2:26, how is the relationship between Orders and Managers table Many: Many when only the region in the Managers table matches the region in orders ? In my PowerBI set up the relationship detected was Many:1.
Thanks very much Trish for sharing this brilliant tutorial with us! This is so easy to follow and I have learnt so much after being in 'IT hibernation' for over a decade. Apart from Power BI, I also got to learn about Form and Power Automate which I have never used/heard before (no thanks to the 'IT hibernation'). I feel that this is so much better than learning in class (ie. face to face) as I am able to control the speed of the video based on my pace and understanding. I guess it is harder to catch up if I got lost during face to face lessons. Looking forward to check out your other tutorials once I finish the Master section (2 more hours to go!) of your tutorial :-)
The "anti" join descriptions in the slide are a bit misleading - I think it should be "rows from 1st table that DO NOT match 2nd table", not just "rows in 1st table" - I was confused, thinking "why would you do that vs just connecting to a single table?" :) Thanks for providing a solid learning experience!
Trish, this is just the type of course I was looking for. Your instruction is perfectly paced, clear, and your instruction is easy to follow. Do you also offer one-on-one instruction? Also, I am looking for a similar course to learn Power query. Do you teach that as well?
It did not create a a relationship between the Orders table and the DimCustomers for me, I have no idea why. I tried to create the relationship in the Model View but cannot make the relationship active is it will "create ambiguity in the Managers and Orders table". Can you tell me why?
Such an amazing course I feel like I learn something from every sentence she speaks, also the speed do ratio is perfect for me to keep up with what she is doing without dailing back the video. Thank you from my Heart great Job
Great course! Helpful contents! I would rather have some minutes dedicated to Gateway connection. Perhaps, it was beyond the scope. Aside from that, I love it. This gonna help me in my Data Analyst journey. Thanks a mil!
I am so so so so impressed with this course. i have completed all the levels. this is the best so far. Thank you Learnit and Trish. How do i get certified from your end before the PL-300?
Hi Trish! Hope you're well! :) Quick Question: Do you feel that this video is enough to begin preparing for the Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification?
Thank you for this wonderful and well-structured Training. I have tried to load the data from the internet severally but it coming back with 2023 for the Median Household income and the tables are completely different from yours. all efforts to search for 2021 were to no avail. Please what do you suggest? Many Thanks
Very well follow along with the supplied files for follow along. One note that I need to state, if you don't have a work email to use the service parts of this training just pay close attention to the course to understand whats going on.
I was watching the video and practicing power bi at the same time. When during 39 minutes, we should get data from the Northwind, but it showed up that I couldn’t connect the data. How can I fix it?
Hi, thank you for the course, but I'm having trouble with downloading the files, the page is giving me an error and I can't access it. Is there any other to accesss the files?
A great video thanks a lot for sharing. Can you please explain the .Date part and the reason for error in days to ship column I did not understand that. @ 3:22:11
The path to the file can also be found in de info pane of OD. In the menu click on Info and a pane opens. Here you can get the path to the file without a tricky part. But perhaps you knew this already and was't it suitable for the course.

Thank you for the kind words!
Great to hear! You got this!
Hello, I am enjoying this so far thank you. Just wondering if you have a manual that can be downloaded for Power BI?
Hello! Our manuals are bit outdated unfortunately.
Trish. You are such an amazing instructor. Thank you for your course
You are so welcome!
I am really grateful for your wonderful video and resources. It really helps me with my interview preparation a lot! Thank you so much for your help!
That is great to hear! We are glad it helped you!
could you win the interview?
@@swapnavivek9647 Yes, I won the interview.
You are such an amazing instructor.
Thanks!
Thanks for the tip!
Thank You for sharing your knowledge 😊. It was very useful.
Thank you so much. The classes are clear and at a good pace.
Thank you so much for watching Farhan!

Quick Question:
Do you feel that this video is enough to begin preparing for the Microsoft PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification?
Thank you for this wonderful and well-structured Training. I have tried to load the data from the internet severally but it coming back with 2023 for the Median Household income and the tables are completely different from yours. all efforts to search for 2021 were to no avail. Please what do you suggest? Many Thanks

The path to the file can also be found in de info pane of OD. In the menu click on Info and a pane opens. Here you can get the path to the file without a tricky part. But perhaps you knew this already and was't it suitable for the course.
Thank you for the great tip!
Top quality video
Glad you think so!
1:57:32 - Excellent video so far, but I'm not seeing a Status column on the Orders table in order to do the Merge Queries step for Orders and Returns. Anyone else have that issue? Did I miss something?
