Pretty late to comment on this, but I think school/mass shootings as a phenomenon started pretty much at the same time, when SSRI-drugs hit the market.
There was like 15 school shooting in the 40s, most were adults mind you but it's not like this is a new thing

There might be some other reason but there's no proof SSRIs play any part in this other than the fact that mentally ill people are more likely to shoot up a school so people use the fact that they were all on a certain type of medication as correlative evidence
