Amazing car, best value for money, I own CS35 Distinguished... The top of the line model..it has been over 4 years now, there are features you don't even see in the latest premium Japanese, Korean, American and European cars.. Only issue I have with it is when you require spare parts, the lead time is way too long. Prior to getting the car, I asked the salesman if spares are available exstock...i was told yes...obviously now was a lie... Overall, I'm very much content and happy about my car.
Hi sir! I think if you turn off the AEB, the jerkiness will be minimized. Maybe the reason why there is a delay when you floor it when trying to pass another car is because the AEB is detecting something in front so it takes a while for it to analyze that your actually trying to pass another car. Also, I believe you can set the AEB to early, medium or late.. Again, this is what I think. Maybe you should try it out when you’re given the chance to properly review the car.
Thanks for your awesome reviews. very dynamic and not boring.. hope you can do a follow-up review of this CS55 especially its ADAS, fuel consumption and driving improvements when broken in. I find it one of the best value car in the market today. Cheers!
I am considering this model in my top of my list. Very good review sir and now subscribed in your channel. Hope more updates on this vehicle in the future.
The back and forth distance from Laguna to Baguio is around 524 kms. With consumptions of 3 full tanks at 165 liters does this means that the average fuel consumption is only 3.17 kilometers per liter? is this correct?
@@gholz68 I wouldn't exactly say so. The tank was not completely empty when we refilled. We were at 1 to 2 bars. Also we did a lot of roaming around within Baguio in heavy traffic so it was a lot more than 524kms. Anyway, I'll do a proper fuel consumption test when I get to borrow the vehicle again
@@jaywalkur Thanks for the clarification. This is a good prospect but with the current fuel cost the consumption is best taken into consideration. Hope to get more update in this regard Jay. More review power. :)
tried to compute also sir and still I got around 3.17km per liter. And even if I computed using the long way going to Baguio which is 346.8 multiply by 2 equals 693.6km and divide it by 150liters(may 2bars pa daw naiwan), equals to 4.6liters. I think matakaw siya sa gas.
Watched your vid about Tiggo7pro and I was amazed. Then this one is much better. You got yourself a new sub. By the way if you would pick between the Chery Tiggo7pro and Changan CS55, what would it be?
Chery Tiggo 7 has poor suspension. Masyadong stiff. Their controls are not that user-friendly and mainit yung aircon. Just test drove the changan and tiggo models. Mas maganda Changan.
@@Anon-xw6wb But i think the warranty of Tiggo beats Changan don't you think? I think I was decided with the Tiggo 7 then i saw this Cs55 seems pretty good to me. Wanting to hear others feedback to those who've driven both units.
China Cars can be at best once it can hit the world market and sales. For now, in the Philippines, truly, it is an option. 🇵🇭 Also, price range of china made cars is cheap due to cheaper Labor cost which other brands will not ethically do for professional and rights standard. 🇵🇭 Opening up the innovation in the car market would entice other brand to keep up but of course the price will still be the same because China Labor Policies are not applicable to other countries even in the Philippines.
This company should get the comments from the owners or rather this bloggers should...that will be a great impact for decision making.. until now no any blogger is doing it...
Yes but this also includes all the travel around Baguio city for 3 days and a little bit of hooning around the twisties and on the highways to 'test' the car. Also a bunch of idling moments when we were filming the car.
How was the acceleration compared to the tiggo 8 pro? is it smoother? was the lag more noticeable? they have quite similar power figures... and that 0-80 in 6.5 seconds is fast. I know that they are completely different vehicle and competition, I just want to know how it feels compared to the tiggo 8 pro 1.6L
Generally the tiggo 8 1.6 Pro feels faster because the transmission shifts faster and it responds to throttle input more quickly. If you floor it, it downshifts and you feel the power right away. The CS55 takes a while to downshift when you floor it but once it finds the right gear and the right rpm, it builds up speed pretty quickly. If you launch both vehicles from a complete stop though, I have a feeling that the CS55 will be a bit faster given its higher torque and lighter weight. I get a lot more wheelspin when launching the CS55
GAC makes good cars but service is not that good yet. Konti pa lang dealerships. Changan has more features than GAC. Focus ni GAC more on Fortuner and Alphard challengers.
@@vanaelarmanaco2151 I'll do a full walk around of the base variant in the future with all the details but to summarize, It doesn't get ADAS. No 360 camera, smaller 10.5in screen, only the driver's seat is power adjustable. Mechanicals are all the same

Any feedback on lane keep assist and AEB? Abrupt and scary daw yung lane keep assist and yung AEB naman ay parang kumokontra sa overtaking?
That road trip was one for the books, bro! Awesome video.

Great review man 👌
I'd consider this one on my lists.
Which is better looks in, out and fuel consumption. Cs 55 or territory?
How's the sound system? This one would be a good competitor for the Coolray Cool version by next year.
are the camera feeds dimmable? CS35 has an issue with the cam feed being too bright and hurts the eyes

Sir @jaywalkur if given the choice between Tiggo 8 pro 1.6 or this Changan Cs55 plus Hype? Which one will you choose?
Oh my God, at on ly 1.3 m, thats incredible.. I wonder how other car brands would top this?
Introductory price only. They will likely raise the prices next year. Okavango used to be 1.5M, now it's 1.7M

Why it does not have auto hold? In inclined have you always press the break to hold the vehicle. Thanks

Baguio to Laguna in three hours? Maybe in the middle of the night
577 km with 3 full tanks (55L each). Probably around 5.7 km/l if 100 liters nakarga. Guesstimate.
