We have 5 KIAs in our family. Best cars we have ever owned. 100k warranty. Lots of goodies for the price. All manufacturers have recalls. KIAs now only have minor recalls. Back in 2015-2018 some issues, but not the new ones. We have a new Sportage, Sorento, and 3 Fortes. All great. Previously had 3 Optimas, 2 Sorentos, a Sportage, and a Spectra... also a Hyundai Entourage. Had a Honda Odyssey and a Toyota Camry before that. Odyssey had sliding door problem and Camry had electrical issues. Both bought new. Odyssey was tinny. Camry was solid.

Have you ever made a big claim on that 100,000 mile warranty? A stated, but unsupported warranty, is useless if no dealer or corporate HQ rep agrees your problem is THEIR problem.

Several 2023 Mitsubishi PHEV models offer several features that make them practical alternatives to compact SUV’s, i.e. 3-row 7-passenger seating, plug-in hybrids that offer >60 mpg economy, and an efficient diesel engine option that allows long distance hauling of trailers. Owners say that the 50-60 km range of the hybrid versions makes the PHEV a great commuting vehicle and they may fill up with gas only several times a year. With a 700-mile range on one tank, it is good for long trips for large families. Reliability is apparently good.

Kia and Hyundai have been having some serious recalls lately. Having recently researched and purchased two SUVs, I think the Mazda is the best driver's car, and the Subaru is the safest and gets the best traction in slippery conditions. The Honda and Toyota SUVs are the longest-lasting and best all-around if you keep a car over ten years. Last November 2022, I purchased a 2021 Honda HR-V and a 2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

I had one recall on mine for a ABS module, but other than that I have 8K n some change on mine and its been flawless. I know the THETA 2 engines are crap with carbon build up and there was metal shavings left in the engines causing the oil valleys to clog up starving some internals of oil causing engine damage, but these have the THETA 3 engines, which have dual port injection (8 Injectors) to reduce carbon build up and no more metal shavings. If you own a older Hyundai, get the engine recall done before your motor blows up ;)

I currently have a KIA Niro hybrid and i love the gas mileage that i get but i’m pretty much done with Kia after this one too many engine problems and transmission problems and the fact that they have a high theft rate because they are easy to hot-wire. I was steering more towards the Honda CRV however my only thumbs down is that there is absolutely no storage space in the hatch area because the electric hybrid battery is under the rear storage compartment. I don’t understand why Honda chose to put the Lithium hybrid battery there. My Kia Niro and most other hybrid models have the lithium battery under either the front passenger seat or under the rear passenger seat. I mean what is the point in buying an suv if there’s no storage space

@@itsmearv07 To be honest, we went out of our area to buy our Subaru’s.
Our local Subaru dealership in Wenatchee, WA, we caught the General Manager in a few blatant lies and the service department SUCKS.
We take both of our Subie’s to A&D Auto in Wenatchee as they work on Subaru’s exclusively.
Everyone that we know also goes to Subaru dealerships outside of our area to purchase their Subaru’s.
Getting parts for our Subie’s are as easy as any other vehicle brand.
When our Subie’s wear out, we’ll go back to our previous Subaru dealership to buy from them again.
When I called the General Manager out on his Lies from Cascade Subaru, he told me that I was never allowed to come back to them ever again, not even for warranty work.
This is fine by me, because we refuse to do business with a Liar and a Crook.

@@Cracker9876Nope a friend of mine had a 2022 . And as he was driving on the freeway he started smelling gas fumes in the cabin. So he quickly pulled over as the nearest off ramp was about two miles away. And as he pulled over the smell was getting stronger. He managed to stop. And almost instantly smoke started coming out of the hood. Well not even ten seconds later flames and much more smoke. By the time the first fire truck arrived the front end was Completely engulfed in flames. He had just bought it brandnew two months prior with only putting 6k on it. Car was a total loss. Here's the real kicker as he was trying deal with kia about two weeks after the fire he received a recall notice in the mail about possibly of fuel leaks and not to drive the vehicle and take it to the dealer to be checked out. 🙄. Another friend had his 2021 Hyundai engine that literally blew up. With only about 21k on it . Took just about a month to get the engine replaced. And when he got it back he he traded it in for a Mazda Cx-5. They have had a lot of issues around the fuel lines and metal shavings in the engines from piss poor engine manufacturing..
