once you figure out that its a transformer and power in the secondary is dictated by the square of the turns ratio and how that reflected "resistance" affects the source, this becomes much easier...
Hello, compliments for your video, I am trying to make an oscillator similar but I have a problem with Mosfet that goes out of work immediatly when i turn the potenziometer. Have you some suggest? Many thanks in advance!
Hi sir, are your resonant capacitor and the capacotor on the gate the same value as mine? If so, try using a current limiting power supply and use 20V input, then set the gate capacitor to around 4nF and try. Also you can start with IRFP460. Circuit layout is also very important in RF circuits.🤔🤗
Thank you very much for the fast response, layout circuit is the same of yours, I will try to reduce the input voltage and change the gate capacitor. At the moment I have IRFP260N as MOSFET... I will let you know! Thank you very much!
@@dmorologeria3875 I remember that in my SHORTS videos there a re several shows i using IRFP250N to achieve maybe 300W[70-80V input],mayve that will do help.
Yeah, in another mine short video there is a over 1kW Xenon plasma ICP, though I still don't have a gas flow formed. My commercial ICP generator is a 1.6kW 40.68MHz oscillator.
Hello sir, the main resonant coil and the resonant caoacitor, also the feedback capacitor and the RF choke at the Drain will need to be changed. I am wondering why not just using a chip to generate the frequency you need and driving a MOSFET? Since that is really a low frequency and a driven type circuit will be more stable at that low frequency my friend.
I have made my own circuit which its similar to your circuit one and its actually work, but the capacitor burns it self and after few second running. Can you explain why
@@OngVoELstuffs08 Yeah, that could happen, because if too many caps are in series then the equivalent series resistance of the capacitor will be huge, thus reduced the TANK Q factor. Normally silver plated ceramic RF power capacitor should be used. You can search for ATC telecom Rf capacitors.
yay! I'm so glad you made this video
I like to watch your rf experiments :)
Thank you sir 😉
Thanks! So interesting... I love plasma!
Hi, what is the value of the capacitor labelled "C1" on the schematic? Thanks
Hello friend, C1 is a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor which is used as a filtering capacitor for the gate bias.
how much mhz this ?

where did you get the neon in quartz tube?
I get it from an Chinese online shop, it costs 3.5 dollars.

Your videos are awesome! If you had a gas flow through a quartz tube could this be used for something like an ICP torch?

Have you ever tried with a rodin coil?
Complements brother, great work!
will it melt small pieces of metal? like induction heater?
Exactly, it could. You can see that in another SHORT video in my channel.
Nice glow !
In this circuit, if I want to oscillate at 400khz, what parts do I need to adjust?

Use a couple mosfets to excite a LC tank circuit tuned for 400khz.
我在製作hfsstc時,電源總是會壓降,想問問看是否您有遇過同樣的問題
I have made my own circuit which its similar to your circuit one and its actually work, but the capacitor burns it self and after few second running. Can you explain why
Because there is quite high RF current through the caps, and they must withstand a high reactive power.
@@uecmitsuimarinedieselengin873 but when I put many higher capacitance capacitor in series, it output super low power

@@uecmitsuimarinedieselengin873 I think the output is low because of the equivalent series inductance
Cool, do you know the frequency of the oscillator?
It is around 10-20MHz.
@@uecmitsuimarinedieselengin873Okay, Thank you!
我前些天也把氙气管伸到HFSSTC初级线圈里了,也发出了挺亮的光。然后没想到会那么热,拿出来的时候不小心把手烫了个泡。。。

You could make a plasma toroid with this.
Yeah, but I have no glass making fixtures 😹
わけからない!横浜氏なら、警察が来るぞ。すごすぎる、だけど。。。。You are insane!。。。I like it..
i also made a 1MHz colpitts oscillator!!!
I'll learn from you and make one like yours too!!!
Hah, nice to know you like it sir🤗looking forward to your results
