I love the Koine Greek Orthodox chant, its so lovely and poetic in this song. To think how the Imperial retinue and Emperor had the best geographical position to look to the East and West and see such beautiful days and nights.

@@esclavodelsistema9783 I'll do some research and ask some of my friends who dabble in Koine Greek. I'll upload a video with English subtitles.

@@esclavodelsistema9783 It is the first 6 verses of Psalm 103 (102 as counted by the Eastern Church):
      Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
      Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-
      who forgives all your sins
      and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
      The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.

There are no such things as good fortune or bad fortune, in just the same way there is no good or bad luck. So long as the dogs of Reason are alive in you, you will live a life doubled mindedness and be forever at odds with yourself 😮

Does anyone have a translation of the lyrics? I don't speak Koine Greek.

I can definitely translate like 90% but I just don’t really feel like typing it all out. It’s mostly blessings and prayers tho, highlighting righteousness of Christianity. Most of what he says can basically be heard in any modern day Greek church where the priest is just reading/reciting from the bible.

Since you are wondering it says something like this in medieval/Byzantine greek :
      As has been said
As i open my mouth being filled with The Holy Spirit i am going to speak about The Queen Mother (Mary) and you 'll see me rejoice and triumph as i take delight in Her miracles
Holy Mother Theotoke (She who gave life to God) save us
As the great archangel recognised your purity he brought forth an inpiring sealed book with your spirit and cried out : Hail You vessel of happiness , You who will uplift the malediction of our female forebearer (Eve from the story of Adam and Eve)
      That's the 2nd song

      2. Easter hymns - Canon of the Akathist / Eirmos & first Troparion of Ode 1
"My mouth shall I open wide, and it will thus be with Spirit filled.
A word shall I then pour out unto the Mother and Queen.
I will joyously attend the celebration
and sing to her merrily, lauding her miracles.
      Most Holy Theotokos, save us.
O Maiden and Virgin pure, the great Archangel beholding you
the animate book of Christ which by the Spirit was sealed
did exclaim to you: Rejoice, O joy’s container,
through whom shall the curse upon the primal mother be loosed."

actually Christan chants in eastern europe and eastern nations have this chant style. And this is actually the Orthodox christian chants sang by Byzantines themselves.
