Again the Republicans are totally misrepresenting Harris' plan to lower inflation. There has been NO MENTION OF PRICE CONTROLS from her administration. Those words are being placed in her agenda by corporate hacks who want to continue bankrupting citizens. The two actual proposals from the Harris camp are to stop rental price collusion, so that apartment and home renters will have to compete honestly again (like they used to), and to put in place federal laws that prevent price gouging, just like the laws that already exist in many republican and democrat controlled states, and like Donald Trump himself enacted during COVID to prevent medical supply price gouging. THAT IS ALL! Those laws do not set prices, but allow businesses who artificially inflate prices when they think they can get away with it to be SUED.
These career politicians are really just talking heads for the real power structure. They aren’t making key financial decisions! They are just the “salesmen” trying to get the people onboard with it! I believe Trump was uncontrollable. And that’s the reason they are so hell bent on keeping him out of office! I mean he was just almost killed! I believe the last President to buck the system was Reagan! And he was almost killed too! Bush, Clinton, Obama, Biden. There was never an attempt on any of them! Why? My belief? They play ball!!

Therefore, the current system is not good either and you wont see prices come down because the very few companies in control won't have it. Raising taxes is price gouging
Walmart recently reported a Net Profit of 1.9%. Most of the major supermarkets make a Net Profit of between 2% to 3%.
Hardly Price Gouging !
The Real Problem is that the Dollar has lost 25% of its Value since 2021. Thanks to Biden / Harris Spending and Printing Dollars.

@@jwvvvv I had one of these trolls point me to Walmart & Tyson foods, I asked them if they were literally gouging prices, why has the government not already started an investigation under current laws that make it illegal and the troll disappeared. Wal-Mart has profits regardless of the groceries, they do a large amount of non-grocery business where profits are gained, not sure on Tyson cause I boycott them anyway for using illegal migrant labor. If anything, they should be investigated for that before supposedly gouging prices.

Prices have risen disproportionately with compared with costs of raw materials, fuels and wages. So it is clearly not just inflation.
The large grocery monopolies like Kroger have clearly gotten much richer over the past 2 years, where they had free reign to jack up prices using the excuse of "oh, inflation".

Americans can fix a lot of higher prices. Example: If lettuce were to go to $3 a head, you don't buy it. You can live without a salad or garnish on that hamburger. You won't die without it. When no one is buying lettuce anymore you can bet the price will start coming down real quick. Same strategy for other consumer products. Too high - don't buy. We don't need government interference. We can fend for ourselves.
They don't understand that this isn't grocery stores saying "Let's squeeze our customers, improve our margins and make a buck!" This is grocery stores having to pay more for food from the suppliers and then having to increase prices to compensate. You can't just have the government mandate the cost of items and expect not to massively jack up the economy. If you squeeze prices down then you're offloading the increased base cost of the item to the retailer, who is going to raise prices on other items or stop selling the product.
Or, they do understand that, and they're trying to sucker low income Americans into voting for them.

At the end of his first term, he made it so that he could fire anyone at working for the government for no reason. he will replace these people with people that pledge allegiance to him.
