It’s an electric fan and even when you shut off the ignition the fan is supposed to run till it cools down the radiator to a certain temperature! That’s its design because it’s electric; it doesn’t just run with the engines running! OTAY?!?!
It’s abnormal when the is cold and it’s still on
I did exactly same to my Evoque. With new Module in, both fan did not start. Will they start once engine heats?
If on Air conditioning must be both fans on if not On Air conditioning they will on At time of Engine Temperature Around 90c
I drove the car 100 km to check if engine heats and fan turn on. Engine did not heat more than half way on indicator (that is always at that normal point). Fan did not turn on just because temperature outside if less than 10 degree here. Not sure why fan did not turn on.
Even if I turn on the AC, The outside temperature is less than 10 degee C. Is that the reason Fans did not turn on?
@kinjalpatel7710 Yeah you're right because in front bumper grill there is a Ambient temperature sensor which is giving signals to the ECM and giving reading of outside temperature if the temperature is below the 17c it won't turn on your AC compressor
That's what happened. Both fan working fine with new Module at above 17 degree. Thanks for the video.
