The sheer amount of videos, the pedagogic and easy to understand teaching, the in-depth and reliable information on protocols and device operation, and all of this for free. 3 years ago, Kevin's videos helped me get CCNA. And even today as a CCNP, if I ever feel forgetful and want to assure that my knowledge is correct, or I want to make sure that I have full understanding of a topic, I can always come back and watch Kevin's amazing videos. The amount of people that you've helped in progressing their careers, you should be proud of yourself. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Kevin Wallace.
Kevin is hands down, the best teacher! Easy to understand, follow, etc. I've done the books, INE, etc. and Kevin just has the natural touch in teaching! Thank you Kevin!!
You have no idea how much you've changed my life in just 25 minutes. BGP has always been a hard concept for me to understand and explain. Thank you so much Kevin
I am in my last semester of my bachelors in CS and i have to say, learning networking of any kind is always such a joy because there is SO MUCH amazing content to almost any topic out there, like this video. Last week I had to learn Natural Language Processing with TF-IDF Matrices and man, there is not alot of information out there, but networking content creators are just on another level when it comes to sharing their knowledge. Thank you so much, you and others have helped me and my fellow peers immensly
Thank you so much, studying for my DCCOR and this helped so much. Thank you for breaking it down in a wonderful and easy to understand. Also you have a great speaking voice!
Thank you for the simple and easy to watch videos. I'm in the job market after 16 years at my old company and these are good refresher videos in preparation for job interviews!
I've seen this content on ITProTV, CBT Nuggets, and OCG. Out of all of those, you are my favorite. Every word you speak is purposeful and clear. Love it!
I had last used bgp an year back and alomost forgot about it. Now that i need it again for a project, you got me going and i dont even need look into my notes. I will burn them coz i have your video
More than teach about all aspects and terms of BGP, Kevin has an outstanding eloquence and diction. It turn the learning pretty easy. I took my CCNP RS in 2010 studing his material.
That was very well explained Mr.Wallace, it has helped me to consolidate my BGP knowledge and I have an easier time understanding and navigating the protocol. Thank you very much
Phew chapter 12 on the OCG is scary, had to read 3 times before it sank in, many thanks KC for this video, I wish I had the cash to buy your CCNP course.
An excellent presentation. A colleague recommended your courses. This is my first viewing. Really good delivery of content. I like the colour coding you use on the CLI too. This is how I work day to day, need the colours for memory commitment 😎👍
Big dawg kevin at it again with them acronyms. I just wrapped my head around big dogs really like me, now i got some more studying to do! You da man kevin!
Kevin, I know it’s probably not very high up on your list, but please consider covering the Cisco Service Provider track at some point. If that’s not possible, then maybe a short series that is focused on the more SP oriented topics would be awesome. Either way, thank you for all of the great videos that you make (your actual courses and your videos here on RUclips). I used your Cisco CCNP R&S Complete Course as my main study material to get said certification, and I am studying for the Cisco CCNP SP now... Gotta get that dual CCNP. :)
Thank you, your videos are always great! I hope you can also talk about things like virtualization and network security which are also on the CCNP syllabus
I own both the official cert guide and this course. I went with the book up to the BGP section. Then I listened to Mr. Wallace lecturing on BGP. 1 25-minutes lesson and BGP was so easy to understand. But my questions is: why is the book so detailed on this and other topics - do they cover too much? My experience is based on this 1 topic only but I started to think which way I should go as the book covers BGP with so much more detail. It seems like this lesson is no more than 15-20 per cent compared to the OCG which is the official book to study.
An excellent video as always! But, at 14:57 he says that there is no local preference assigned by default. But there is a default value of 100, is it not?
Hi Kevin, you said this is all we need to know for the ENCORE exam, however the cert guide says ALOT more than this. Can I assume that alot of the information in the book will not possibly appear on the exam? And is this a general rule for Cisco (ie. they add alot of information to the books that will not possibly appear on the exam?).
Dang Kevin, I should be directing part of my annual salary to you since you helped increase it so much, haha. Thanks again for yet another quick, but choc-full of information that's easy to understand, networking video for us slow-moving folks.
Very informative as always, thanks for providing such valuable and free content. I wonder why the OCG for ENCOR exam has 2 chapters on BGP when this is sufficient.
Hi, Kevin! I'm a Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core after I passed the Route 300-101 and Switch 300-115 exams. To get the new Professional level which exam do I need to pass, 350-401 ENCOR or a concentration one? Thanks a lot!
Under the new structure, you must pass two exams to obtain a CCNP Enterprise certification. The 350-401 ENCOR exam is required, while the second exam can be chosen from a list of concentration exams. The 300-401 ENARSI exam is the most popular, because the combination of ENCOR and ENARSI maps closely to the old R/S certification. You can read more, including the list of concentration exams, on the Cisco website here: www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/professional/ccnp-enterprise.html

I passed the 200-105 in 2020 and I had to study BGP. There was at least one BGP question on the exam.

Thanks a lot , I went through the OCG and there is a lot more information that made me feel overwhelmed, your video just smashed it.
I agree with you the OCG covered filtering regexp, reditribution... Not in the exam topics
I've seen this content on ITProTV, CBT Nuggets, and OCG. Out of all of those, you are my favorite. Every word you speak is purposeful and clear. Love it!
Cannot agree more! only sad thing is that i cannot afford his amazing courses, 300 dollars with that i eat 2 months
100s of videos later. This one is the best.

Impossible Not To learn with your Methods!! Thank you very much, Mr. Wallace

Very informative as always, thanks for providing such valuable and free content. I wonder why the OCG for ENCOR exam has 2 chapters on BGP when this is sufficient.
Exactly. Do they get it wrong with the official OCG? There is much more information on BGP in the book.
Thanks for the awesome material!
Great video. Thanks!!!
This is still valid for the encore?
Yes indeed! Version 1.1 of the ENCOR (350-401) exam blueprint did not update the BGP objectives.
Great stuff! Thank you
Thank you. Very informative.
Thanks a lot Kevin, really informative. Where do i get the full videos?
You can check out our full ENCOR course here:
