Excellent, and yes for sure a video dedicated to BGP, route influencing parameters, small office and campus examples, will be super! thank you for the great content!
All your series/videos are mind-blowing. I have been glued to your channel for the last 2 weeks. I have already signed up for the upcoming networking class. I am watching this a year after it was posted, I would still say YES to the BGP series. I also humbly request for EIGRP series. An enormous THANK YOU to you ED and your entire team for putting these videos together.
Amazing series on OSPF, I have learned so much from you! I would absolutely love to see another one for BGP!!! Have used many different teachers before, including CBT Nuggets, but for me, you explain things so much better. I can also tell you really put a lot of effort into these videos, they are very well organised and straight to the point. Please do one for BGP (and maybe EIGRP?) :D
Glad you found this help, Viktor. Thank you for the kind words. BGP is a possibility. EIGRP, I wrote some articles on, perhaps you would find those helpful: EIGRP Explained : www.practicalnetworking.net/stand-alone/eigrp-terminology/ EIGRP Metric : www.practicalnetworking.net/stand-alone/eigrp-metric/ EIGRP Feasibility Condition: www.practicalnetworking.net/stand-alone/eigrp-feasibility-condition/
Awesome tutorial!! I'm enjoying your whole series on networking and are looking forward to more content. And yes I would like to see a whole video dedicated to BGP and IS-IS as well please sir! Cheers
@@PracticalNetworking Oh that’s fine! If you could make the BGP deep dive that would be awesome, like your OSPF deep dive! I just passed my CCNA cert exam and I’m ready to move forward! Thanks so much sir!
Thanks for this. I am a recent CCNA certified Admin. I am attempting to clear up some items I may have been fuzzy on. Thank you for re-enforcing my studying.
Just now completed the OSPF series (whatever released so far) from a great teacher! Waiting for rest of the topics. After that it’s time for BGP series. Eagerly waiting!!
Hello, first of all I think you did a great job in explaining the OSPF series. I just could not get the concept of areas, you were the only one that gave me that eureka moment and got it. No one else explained it with a sense of purpose. Thank you! Secondly, I would definitely be interested in the BGP series if you ever do one. I will tackle that topic soon. Stay well, and keep those well and thoroughly explained videos coming.
As always, the way you illustrate things in such an easy manner goes straight into mind. I would like to thank you for creating quality videos which explains key points so easily. All the very best for your future endeavors, and a BIG YESSSS for Detailed video for BGP protocol.
Than you so much for making me understand so easily. Please make more in depth videos that will make us a better network engineer. I've said it before, I'll say it again; if I ever make it anywhere in this field, I will compensate you for your hard work. That of course aside from what I can do for now. You are the best!
This Thanksgiving....thank you Ed for sharing a gold mine of knowledge in the field of IT. More Power to you and to Practical Networking for spending the time and all the effort in providing these educational videos for the benefit of many. Hands-Down the best teacher on YT.
Thanks Ed, for all that you do. Just finished the 3 part router series, everything is really well explained and the way you explain it makes it easy to understand. And finally It would be great if you could do videos on BGP as well.
Super helpful video ! You explained everything really clearly and have great diction :) I'm studying for my network exams and I'm gonna watch the whole series of dynamic routing protocols you did
well done 👍👍 I think a dedicated course or detailed videos on BGP would be fantastic! It's such a critical protocol for inter-AS communication, and diving deeper into topics like route policies, path selection, and security in BGP would add immense value. Thanks for all the great content 🌹🌹
@@PracticalNetworking Thanks again. Even though BGP is not in CCNA, it plays a big role in the practical world, which matches your channel name. Again, I truly appreciate your hard work!
Thank you for calling out cisco in the end. I'm currently studying ccna and everytime cisco talks about its crappy proprietary stuff I rage a little. I will never work with Cisco gear but some of the information provided by ccna books is still required to learn about networking.
This is a good tease for bigger routing concepts that I feel lead to bigger network engineer tasks. I might include a teaser to it in the routing part of your intro to networking routing modules. I only found it from you OSPF intro. Also your videos seem to reduce these concepts to a concise time commitment.
I would say I have hit a gold mine of the networking information. Absolutely best in the world. Do you have or Planing any course which covers CCNA or the book. 🙏
Hi Patel. I don't presently have plans to create a full CCNA course, but I think about the idea often. I have my CCNA related resources published here: pracnet.net/ccna
Excellent contents in an excellent form of explanation. Please could you kindly tell bit about software which you use to present the example into your RUclips videos. It will really helpful
