Finally, an obvious chance to use the soft pedal. After many years, playing the Bösendorfer piano again instantly makes me recall the first time I performed at National Tsinghua University during my freshman year, playing the same three hundred thousand worth of Bösendorfer. The joy and sublimation brought by the sound and touch of the top-notch piano back then are still vivid. Associated with it are memories of university life, with its ups and downs all emerging. It's as if I've met my old self again, reminiscing over tea, leisurely watching the flowers bloom and fall in the courtyard.
