- The legendary Karl Richter performs the Pastorella In F Major, BWV 590, on the pipe organ in the Ottobeuren Abbey. The real audio of this video was very poor quality, so I deleted the audio and overdub the video with another version of the same piece that was recorded by Karl Richter on his CD, "Bach: Organ Works".
If you want to compare this audio with the real audio, then here is the link: • JSBach - Pastorella BW...
I cannot recall when last I used the word "sublime". Yet, each time I hear Karl Richter interpret Bach, I am tempted. So, just this once, may he grace the heavens with his playing.
Aside from Richter’s performance, the Riepp organ is stunning; really a part of the abbey’s architecture. Wonderful video.
I think this was the best registration ever for this masterpiece.
Whomever you are sir, you have a priceless collection of one of my and many others favorite interpreter of the music of the Godly Johann Sebastian Bach. I have enjoyed immensely your past and recent uploads of Bach and Handel alike. You have my gratitude :)
Thank you so much for listening to these amazing recordings. :) I am simply a Karl Richter enthusiast and admirer. I found out about this legendary musician a year ago, and have been in love with his music ever since. So much, that I started to learn the pipe organ and harpsichord because of him. I'm only 17 years-old, and I love classical and baroque music. :)
Karl Richter
you're commendable
Go on.
Yes, I do confirm this also. Everything Karl Richter performed is like a gentle dance of devotion... Thank you!
A great performance and a great job of editing. Thank you!
Indeed! Thanks for taking the time for such a careful edit work.
God must really love him :)

I think he loves God !
Amazing playing on such a difficult old organ! And yes, the musical term is "Pastorale". Thanks for uploading!!
Nice nob on the dubbing. I found out about Mr. Richter through the history of the pipe organ in Arlesheim Switzerland. The recordings of Bach's Vivaldi concerts were recored on that Silbermann Organ. I prefer the original sound, the employment of the Sesquilaltera stop gives a nice small cornet like sound.
Ah, the great Chorzempa on glorious Philips sound. Can't forget that CD...
good sound
Nice tune

I'm really wondering, how you managed to synchronize the clip with the cd recording.. :-o It's amazing!
+Hasselfelde I used an audio and video editing software to synchronize everything! Thank you! :)
Cool, you're well equipped and have ''the know how'' obviously. Well done!! Thanks for answering! :-)
+Adrian Volovets Like slowing down the video, cutting & moving clips around, etc?
interesting registration
🌷🌷❤🌷🌷
Why Pastorella? Is not Pastorale? However great job, thank you.
+Mauro Meacci It's the same :) One is Italian and one is German, I guess.
pastorale is "pastoral" (which is correct) "pastorella" means "little (woman) shepherd " , they're both italian words obviously, but the musical term is "pastorale".
@@makytondr8607 no, in german pastorella doesn't exist.
ANUNCIOS EN UN VIDEO TAN CORTO?, ES INSULTANTE. ADIOS.
anuncios???, o que decepcion!! adios!
May be you are skulkidd1222. Thanks friend
Claudio R. varela
+Cr Varela Actually, that's very plausible. The video of BWV582 from skullkidd1222 is ridiculously similar to this one.
+Max Buskirk You are right! I am SkullKid1222, but this is my other channel. :)
Uhhh . . . so you have 3 channels?

is the Ottobeuren organ a Silbermann maybe?
No, it's not a Silbermann organ. It's a Riepp Organ

quality seems very bad
Have disliked this piecever since a teenager. Played it once. Never again.
You come here to tell us how much you dislike this genius piece of music? That does not speak well of you, not the music.
@@timoshala8928 Nothing in this composition is "genius".
Most of Bach's organ works I play fromemory. Nothis.
@@robertgift nobody cares what you play by memory. If you don't see genius, it only says something about your lack of vision.
Means that I know the works well. Th.is poor, not even worth learning.
Nah this piece is fire
