Even the gentle way he stopped her from grabbing the dress! "I know you love it but don't just touch people with out asking" Obviously the lady didn't care but they are still enforcing the boundaries early before they become a problem! They should give classes.
This is precious. I remember wanting a baby alive doll, and my mom said no because it was white. It crushed me. When I had my daughter I bought her multiple baby alive dolls in different shades. What I didn’t have she did. There’s no excuse for that. Beautiful baby and model. May her perspective on humanity always be pure 💕
The baby doll made me tear up. My mom was deadset that she wasn’t going to raise a racist. So, all of my baby dolls were not only white but were of Color, as well. Same with my Barbies. She got me Barbies of every race, even the series Barbie had in the 90’s of dolls dressed in traditional clothes from around the world. When a Black family moved in to the neighborhood my mom made me introduce myself to them and play with the kids who ended up becoming some of my best friends. It worked. I think all parents should raise their kids this way and good on this child’s father for doing that.

@@MsSexyDiva4Lyfe I'm white and I had several black dolls and white dolls. My niece is turning 3 in a couple months and I'd say her babies are evenly split between black and white with a few latin dolls thrown in. She picks the doll she thinks is prettiest, doesn't matter to her or any of us which one she picks. And if we are trying to show her a doll, we pick up each different variation of that same doll to let her choose. I'd say lately like 80% of the dolls she picks have been black.
@@allisonhunter1063 awww I love it! But sadly, when I grew up in the 80’s they hardly had black dolls. And..even more sadly, me and a lot of girls I knew thought the white dolls were prettier. And that’s why it’s so important for little black girls to have a representation of themselves.
@@brios8175 Yeah sorry but my priorities are to not get murdered in the streets, have equal healthcare rights, lower the disgustingly high suicide rate, etc. And lowering violence and discrimination against our people starts at a young age. If kids are old enough to use gay as an insult, they're old enough to actually learn what it means. There's hundreds of kids movies with straight couples and male/female kisses and it's fine, but a gay kiss is 'spoiling' the children? Lawmakers are banning trans kids from playing sports to protect them. So they can know that they're trans by their own party's admission. Make it all make sense.
Children are not born knowing hate, indifference, or racism, it's something that is taught and clear3 this child is being taught properly. Kudos to the parents 👍
That right there is why CRT and other ridiculous antics need to not be taught to children. We are in a very liberal state, and our Schools tell kids, "GO be friends with that different colored kid..just don't do it to have a "token" friend".. then make them feel horrible about themselves FOR having friends of different races (i.e telling them they're only friends with them because of *insert skin tone*, and it's worse if they dont have enough "diverse" friends..ewww. Why would anyone tell a child that.
My stepsister is white. When I got married, her toddler daughter saw me in my wedding dress and said: 😮she's a princess!! It didn't phase her that I didn't look like the princesses in her toy box because to her, I did!! ❤
Dad needs to let baby girl enjoy her moment of wonder. It means so much to babies, that's how they broaden their knowledge of this fantastic world all around them . There's never any harm caused, and the moment is also spoiled for the lady receiving the kid's admiration and curiosity. We need to realize these are precious moments in life.

Unfortunately, A LOT of things are about race and ethnicity. Exposing children to a broader spectrum in their youth, even through toys, books, television shows, playgrounds can normalize equalities. That face that we HAVE to normalize it, is the sad part.
@@loveislove2359 until we get there, race is the point. I’m black and seeing a little white kid with a black doll is everything to us because I grew up with both white and black dolls. My cousin didn’t like blk dolls because other blk people made fun of her dark skin. If you was light skinned in the 80s you was beautiful, everyone favored you the most. So if my cousin would have seen a white kid with a blk doll, that would have helped her accept and love herself better. Would have saved some blk dolls from the trash, she would throw the blk dolls away 😢
@@loveislove2359 Can't have the next generation of racists if we don't indoctrinate the babies into seeing a division! It is "necessary" to make kids aware of what adults fight about so the fight will continue forever. The fact that grown adults don't understand how they create the problem when they "normalize" things is why racism will never end.

It was some “friends” of the family that made a big deal about it when I was carrying her around with me. Just some poor misguided people. In their defense, though it’s not much of one, I think they realized how terrible they were being when I busted out crying. A good learning experience that children are taught terrible behavior and ways of thinking.

I get what your saying but that sounded so strange
That will never happen. Fake staged vidéos. Not in this life this Child would have this doll
Wonderful that this little girl’s parents are bringing her up so well and she doesn’t even know it yet.
They seem as though they are very intentional ensuring she is raised seeing beauty in all people. That doll says so much about this family
They want to raise her up properly so that she'll mate with a black male and produce interracial baby with good gene mixing
Truth
Oh my goodness yes
My son plays with baby dolls of every gender and every race. He loves taking care of all his babies. Whenever we go to an indoor play gym, he always ends up caring at least one around!
@@katieneely2640 As someone who is gender non-conforming I can’t even begin to tell you how proud I am of you for not forcing your son into some archaic gender norms. Little boys can possibly grow up to be fathers and need to learn how to be caring nurturers, too. My parents raised me much the same way and let me play with any toys I wanted, regardless if they were for “boys” or “girls”. Turns out, I’m non-binary so being able to grow up without rigid gender norms helped my transition later in life to be non-traumatic. I wish more parents were like you. There’s be much less mental illness in children if there were more parents like you, that’s for sure.
@@RianLyons oh my heart. You just confirmed that despite the criticism I have received I am doing okay as a parent for letting my children play with whatever toys they want. My other son has also played princess dress up and I refused to make him stop. I just think kids should be kids and be free to be themselves. How else will they know who they want to be when they grow up?
@@katieneely2640 For what It’s worth,
I think you’re doing great. You’re definitely right, a child needs to learn for themselves what they like and who they want to be, and you’re absolutely letting that happen, and supporting them too. I think more parents should be like you!
Wow! Your mom was/is an incredible mother and not because she allowed you to befriend and play with black kids, but because she allowed you to have that option and was a very open minded woman which enriched your life with many opportunities of friendships and experiences from all walks of life. Yes they are! I wonder how many white kids have black dolls. I’m black and had tons of white dolls.
Nope
@@allisonhunter1063 awww I love it! But sadly, when I grew up in the 80’s they hardly had black dolls. And..even more sadly, me and a lot of girls I knew thought the white dolls were prettier. And that’s why it’s so important for little black girls to have a representation of themselves.
That's why I love children so much, they just have pure hearts.

💖🥰
@@brios8175 I thought I was the only who called them the alphabet people 🤣
@@brios8175 Yeah sorry but my priorities are to not get murdered in the streets, have equal healthcare rights, lower the disgustingly high suicide rate, etc.
@@brios8175 What's alphabet agenda
Children are not born knowing hate, indifference, or racism, it's something that is taught and clear3 this child is being taught properly. Kudos to the parents 👍
Amen to this, my thoughts precisely! Racism is a learned behavior...
So is indoctrination, that is why pyycho education must tamper with them before brain & neuron pathways solidify a pattern.

The black baby doll in the stroller pushed by a white child tells me everything I need to know about the parents. There truly is hope in this world and I treasure this photograph!
It does? It's a little kid with a doll. Children don't care about race. Adults, like people commenting here, do. EVERYTHING is not about race!
