i tried to download windows 11 pro onto a brand new flash drive, cleared it just like you did, and for some reason had an error saying there wasnt enough space despite being a 16GB drive with 14.3GB space available. any chance you have a solution for that?
I tried to do this with windows 11 but it said "This PC can't run Windows 11". I'm not exactly sure what to do now. I read something saying that maybe TMP 2.0 wasn't enabled, so I was thinking that I would have to install Windows 10, enable it, and then switch to Windows 11. Does that sound right or am I completely off?
very easy and straightforward! However, is there any difference in the process if I wanna use my storage devices from my old PC? I have two SSDs, and one of them has a windows installation on it, and since my new pc is gonna have new cpu and MOBO imma need to get a new windows installation.
@@ScatterVolt hey there! i tried that and it took me for quite the ride. Did not boot to windows at all. enabling csm made it appear as a boot drive but still didnt boot to windows, which was odd. There were no uefi toggles in my asrock mobo bios. After all that stuff and backing up data, my ssd finally was in gpt format and then booted up in my new hardware just fine without needing a fresh install!

I only have a cromebook, nothing that runs windows. it says I can't open the fill to install it because I don't have it on windows. is there a way around it?
Yes you can use a Chromebook, but its a different process. You will need the Chromebook Recovery Utility in addition to the Windows 10/11 ISO file. Plug in the flash drive into your Chromebook. Change the extension of the ISO file to BIN. Then open Chrome and then the Recovery Utility. Click on the gear icon and select "Use local image". Select the W10/11 BIN file. Then select the flash drive you want to restore to and let the tool run. It may take more than 30 minutes to complete. Once it is finished, removed the flash drive from your Chromebook and plug it into your new PC and install Windows as shown in the video.
I don't really get why these keys are cheaper from third party sellers rather than windows and if it might cause an issue later on down the line? anyone got any answers for this?
These are gray market key sites. So while the product keys they sell are usually legitimate, how they were obtained may not be particularly legit. Some of these keys are VLK's (Volume License Keys). They're intended to be used by a company or organization only. They may also be MAK or Multiple Activation Keys. Again, they're only intended to be used inside of that company. They may have been leaked or stolen and sold elsewhere. There are also OEM license which are intended for OEMs or companies who make pre-built PCs and then sell them like HP, Dell and so forth. OEM keys are significantly cheaper than retail keys because they're meant for OEMs to bundle with that computer. They come with the condition that the key only stays with that computer/motherboard.
