Bro I can’t even express how much I love your videos. Seeing someone show Kirby tech makes me so happy and gives me hope. Keep doing what you’re doing you got a huge fan in me
Not gonna lie that Stone Invincibility tech and D-Air shield poke was major news to me! Also so happy you brought light to Kirby being able Attack through many projectiles as well as Hammer’s ledge trap potential. Keep up the good work!
This is an incredible video. You are a masterful content creator for Smash. I would recommend leaving text on the screen slightly longer however. It is very cumbersome to rewind so often to read
I think its worth mentioning that Kirby can eat most project tiles. No really. He can eat them with inhale. And depending on if the are big enough, he can spit them back out with Attack, or heal from them with Special. This goes for most projectiles and all items created by other players. For example, If Kirby inhales Mewtwo's small Shadow Ball, he will instantly heal from it, without player input. But if he inhales Mewtwo's fully charged Shadow Ball, then he will inhale it and the player has an option of healing from it or spitting it back out. This is essentially Villagers pocket but he heals from small projectiles and most items but can be used against the opponent for bigger, more powerful projectiles. Be wary of bombs though. Kirby takes damage and goes into a small hurt animation while the bomb explodes in his mouth but it deals damage and knockback to players close to him.
You are like the number one Kirby tech guy for me. XD I never actually thought to use nair to go through projectiles. I'm definitely going to practice some of this stuff.
always had an interest to picking up kirby, as he seems fun and more fundamental based than my current char. I'll take note of these tips, thanks my dude!
I have a trick I haven’t seen in any of your videos. If you use up special with Kirby, coming down if you make Kirby’s body hit the opponent and not the cutter, the opponent will not be able to move for a little bit but just long enough so that you can use an up smash
Great video, your videos are great in general with information but I wish you had voice (even a robot voice that reads audio if you dont want your own voice). The text goes by so fast I have to keep rewinding it, and it can be tough to read and watch what kirby is doing at the same time. But otherwise everything else is really nice, I learned a few things
This is gonna be pretty helpful for me and other Kirby mains, thanks for the advice in all your videos like this one! Edit: And congrats, your at 420 likes.
Hey amazing video man! I was hoping to see the landing hit box change of dair in this video because I know it was changed from smash 4. It’s minor but from what I can see there aren’t any true follow ups except for like forward tilt or grab. Excited to see future content!
Neutral B to up B work on more percents but has less damage and virtually no kill power Almost full Hammer can break shields in its two hits if used in the air, if the first hit connects with the shield a shieldbreak is guaranteed What you said about down air carrying characters works very very well against heavies. I even carried a King Krool from the side of a platform to the blast zone Also, this cant be used when playing tournament rules, but down B negates like a ¼ of the final smashes, including peach's
Can you cover the kirby v joker matchup and other top tier matchups? What exactly can (or can't) kirby do against the top tiers? Are there any tips or tricks that we should know when fighting them?
This video is really helpful! I actually didn't know N-air could soak up some projectiles But just one thing, how does instant double jumping work? I can't seem to do it and adding a bit of a small tutorial for It would have been really useful Otherwise great video
Seriously slow down the text. I found myself pausing and going back several times just trying to read everything then to just watch what was happening on screen
Kirby is so ridiculously close to being good its not even funny. His only problem is mobility and weight. He has the frame data, he has the kill power, combo game, kill confirms, recovery (kinda). Hes really just too slow and if someone like Pichu can be the lightest character and be top tier then i think kirby can pull it off
Hammer Autocancel 0:06
Instant Double Jump 0:20
Uair, Fair, & Nair A-Landing 0:37

Thanks, I want kirby to work so badly, the little stuff starts to add up for sure.

Awesome stuff though I cant seem to intant double jump :(

I know I'm a bit late, but this is really amazing editing and some useful tips! You're quite underrated for the amount of effort put into these

This is beautiful, please keep up the good content
Still sad cuz dair into grounded footstool and stone is no longer available, that was my favorite shield breaker.
Thank you for this video, Phan7om

Otherwise great video
I just started watching this and an ad Rick rolled me
Woah. I didn't know a single one of these. Subbed.
So uh when he is crouching he can dodge all grabs but have you tried palutenas grab?
When I release hammer, sometimes I get a single hit attack that swings up. How do I do the swing attack rather than the uppercut?
You can do the swing with an uncharged hammer
Finally someone found a useful read option for the hammer.
Hey Phan7om, could you do a video on Kirby's footstool combos on ultimate? Please?
I'll look into it

Just think about how bad it would be for somebody that doesn’t have English as their first language.
@@BrokenKeyboard14 english is not my first language...
Soy español xD
@@bartolomejabase6703 hola
@@BrokenKeyboard14 English isn't my first language and I could read everything without pausing
@LUISKAR You’re a year late, but good for you!
Uhhhh ohhhh... time to spend hours practicing all this tech 🤯
I absolutely love this thank you!
^-^
Love you man I'm trying to break 4m gsp with kirby
I am a Kirby main in 2022 and I learned a lot
Way to keep the dream alive.

Top Video

You are the expert kirby player
Phan7om mentioning IDJ'ing not even 3 months after Ultimate's release 😶
pichu players always did IDJ since release
thank you senpai
Let's go Kirby!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE POST MORE
wow sick
I love your videos, but please let the captions for longer time... I don’t like to pause to read
I really hate to say this... but is someone play as kirby in a tournament ?
Look up Komota, he's a god
nice
Great helpful vid, but super annoying to have to read and watch the moves at the same time. Consider adding narration instead!
i wish waveland was better in this game T.T
YEE
this video was so frustrating to watch. the slides are too short for me to read what they’re even saying?? smh
