    I hate that this video was so hard to find! This is absolutely what I was looking for! Thank you very much!!
    I have a very similar Lenovo board (IS8XM) with two of those 4 pin connectors. How much current do you think that 12v pin is good for? I would like to try and use a SATA drive cage that requires 4-pin Molex connector. (actually two connectors) It has a built in fan. Do you think this type of adaptation could fit this use case? In other words, would it be safe to adapt that connector to 4-pin Molex?
    To be more clear, I would like to put one Molex and one SAtA power connector on each of the two cables attached to the board. That seems like it should work. Just wondering if anyone has any previous experience with this.

      tnx bro. I am sure that if u search service manual or specs for your mb u will find maximum current. I can presume 1A for each branch.
