Yeah, I’m liking the “mismatch” aspect of shooting. I wish they would implement that into dunking as well cuz there’s no reason a 6’3 and under PG with no interior or strength should knock you out your animations or trigger anything over “weak” defense if I’m 6’9 with more strength and high driving attributes 🤷🏾♂️

Absolutely!! There should be build/height mismatches in the game. I'm on a SG on a 6'5" and I play against 5'9" all the way up to 7'0" in Theater 3v3 randoms.

Shooting isn't "fixed" ppl are making more shots cause we're 5 months in and ppl learned their shots, they aren't switching their shots as much either and probably taking "smarter" shots. If RNG is removed from the game I want to see an average player shoot 8/8 or similar 6/7 from the field in at least 6 consecutive games. One or two good shooting games doesn't mean RNG is removed. Don't worry they'll be complaining again in no time. The excuses will return🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭

@@The0nlyy There is RNG. It's not nearly as bad as most ppl think as far as shooting goes. Ppl just don't want to learn or practice to try to master their shot. Am I shooting 70% from 3 no but I shoot a respectable percentage(47.5) with a 77 3 rating 80 mid range in 2k25 mainly Rec. 2v2 and 3v3 players should be shooting higher percentages because there are less players on the court, less help defenders and more room to operate with

I don’t think they fixed anything. I’m not even that great of a 2k player and I’ve had perfect games early as season 2. I had a 7/9 game yesterday. Went 7/7 then took 2 shots that weren’t the smartest. Just take smart shots, use the midrange. Then you get heat check so that’s a give me and you’re hot by then….i like how shooting is this year. Forcing ppl to take good shots. Not just letting ppl bomb 92 deep 3s. If you get in a shooting slump this year you really gotta work and make smart moves to get out of it. More than just keep bombing 3s

Nah brute I play 2’s with a friend and we screen like maybe twice a game and we can stop most cheese unless they don’t miss.
I'm never mad at post scoring dominance. I'm not a post scorer, but I have high post control on my PG and I got the drop step and post fades from hell! It's the most realistic thing about 2k. Defending the post in real life is very difficult. If he/she has the foot work and your defense isn't there your only hope is for them to miss. Your best bet is to use a build of the same size and bump up strength/interior defense.
I don’t know about the stability issue or people finally learning their shots… because I don’t play online at all only couch co-op and it’s definitely better shooting now..
To stop post scorers just release LT when they go into their drop step releasing LT means you wont get caught in their animation giving you the ability to actually play defense on them it’s really not that hard I’m telling yall this because I was a post scorers at its peak in 2k19 and now I make hybrid builds that can guard 1-5 and still compete offensively
I have been shooting 5/5 and 6/6 even 9/9 since season 2 and i have screen shot receipts for my claims. That includes shooting in higher difficulty modes like the PG 3s and 5s. Just learn you shot and don't change it

Shooting and stability is a good point but in every one of those steezo clips all the defenders was playing off of him none of them were boding him up I’d say that’s bad defense instead of he’s a dribble god still the slowest he’s ever dribbled spamming the same shit excites y’all I get it but let’s not act like he was breaking down lockdowns or people with defense
I agree with everything else you said except for the defenders not bodying him up, there’s no way anyone can body up a guard on 2k moving that fast, I would also say it would be bad defense to try to body up any quick guard on 2k or even in real life, the better defense would be to play off and honest so you can cut off any lanes and contest any shot
@ when defending guards you give them space to stop them from getting to the rim off a drive in damn near every clip he’s not attacking he’s spamming dribbles just to run back to the perimeter to shoot a true defender knows what I’m saying and this year on ball is terrible but if you been playing defense in these newer 2k’s it’s a certain reaching point for you to get the steal trust me when you crowd dribbles they can’t can’t breakdown the defense because of cut off when you give them space they gone beat the defense almost every time and how I play defense I show everybody I play with how to steal the day I see him cook a lock I’ll believe the hype until then mfs just fanboys Brute literally shows you every video what happens when you play off of him he damn near gets whatever he wants small build tall build it doesn’t matter

In 2k23, I had a 6'9" PG who was an absolute beast. I just made the closest to that build 2k25 will allow me to make, a 6'8" PG, lowest weight, 60 strength, good D, good shooting, good slashing, and good playmaking. The difference in height helps. Of course, I went ahead and just switched to low risk. I play only MyCareer, and my ego means nothing when it's just me, and 9 haphazard NPCs. Shooting was never broken for this guy.
.. I played starting five hitting lights out for about two games after that I could not even hit a shot missing all of my shots so shooting is not fixed. RG is in the game. And I have a 99 three ball.
This is so unrealistic, the game is still broken PR defense is a problem that needs to be addressed

Elite players know speed, IQ, and elite shot timing makes you a master!!! Stop complaining oh you though you was gone guard me with a lockdown speed boosting shooting fades the whole game open. Stezo has mastered his craft more important he knows how to stamina management while he his cooking and elite shot timing with a release point to shoot over wemby. Pay attention to the details if you skilled enough.
