- Gibraltar Hardware's Brent Barnett builds the new John Otto drum rack for his current tour with Limp Bizkit. This is a monster drum set up with lots of cymbals. Brent walks us through the construction of this double tier drum rack.
That's an awesome job you have there, like working a Gibraltar toy store.
@SHwoKing The SC-RMAA comes with 3 different nylon bushings, 1”, 7/8”, and ¾”. The upper basket for the 9606 will work with the 1” bushing on the SC-RMAA.
JOHN OTTO QUICK WHATS THE QUICKEST WAY TO THE MATTHEWS BRIDGE
Did he ever tell you?
The Arlington Expressway...durrrrrrrr!!!!!
@MasonBangsDrums haha well we'd love to do more and we are taking a look at the logistics involved to see if we can make it happen. Stay tuned... (thanks for asking!)
ohh and nice job looks great :)
very nice job!
i really wish that i someday get a customized gibralter rack hopefully :)
Until it's time to play a show and you have to lug that monstrosity around by yourself
@IdFear666 that might be true but with round tubes you can adjust the clamps for any 360 angle, whereas with a shaped tube you only have as many angles as the tube has sides, which with a square one is only 4
very very nice!
@GibraltarDIY Thanks a lot. I was wondering because on your online catalog, it is stipulated 7/8", 1/2" and 3/4" bushings. SC-RMAA is definitely quiet versatile and nylon sleeve protect the tube inside. I prefer it over the SC-RBA :D
Thanks !
I asked for what snare drum he has....but I got this. It's good because I have insomnia
Love the way Americans say I me me me
Legless snare and hi-hat stands?! I never knew they existed! Now I gotta get me some.
It's just one of those days
john otto has the coolest job in the world
No, John Otto is the luckiest guy in the world, he was in the right band at the very right time, the stars were aligned for him
does this guy has the coolest job in the world or what???
so where do i apply for a gibralter extreme make-over ???? :D
Christmas present
Was this inspired by Travis Smith's rack from 2008-2009 by any chance?
Hello, I wanted to know if the SC-RMAA accept 1" diameter tube as i already own a 9606 snare stand and wanted to use the upper part with a SC-RMAA like you did in this video. Wonder if the upper part will feet inside. Thx.
If you think John Otto's has a lot splashes and crashes you shuold checkout Mike Mangini's DT kit LOL
Do you guys make a hinged memory lock for 28.8 mm tubes? Tama discontinued those. Biiiig mistake if you ask me :/
Ill have it if its free heck cost more than the drums Lol
1:39 (...) with a couple of 666 to 8 inch (...)
Otto or Ottomons.
guys...cool stuff but, really...stc-bchnk-lmx73????? hahahaha
bandpapa yeah I hear you.. try memorizing them haha!!!
GibraltarDIY mmmm
bar.
Does this guy realize he wouldn't have to level anything if gibraltar wasn't using round tube... :/
For the money there are way better hardware companies out there, why do people still use round racks?! Its just stupid.
