Thank you Frank! You are a godsend! I’m currently wrapping up the electrical on my truck completely based on your videos and advice! Thank you on behalf of all the people here who do not have the knowledge that you do, and who you’ve helped immensely! God bless you sir 🙌🏻
Appreciate that feedback:)
when you cut holes for these type of lights you have to smooth out the edges and make it bevel a little so the bevel shaped backing on the light fits flush.
@chefsharpdressed yes sometimes you do. I use the angle grinder to smooth out also. I like strip light more now
I just bought my trailer. So excited can't wait to build. I've been. Watching so many of your videos can't wait to get started but the question I have is what is Step one once you found your trailer.
I would start with the window if you have it already. Excited for you! Will be a fun project
Hi FrankI love your video do you have a video from the chassis up
Regards Franco
What do you mean?
@@fbaltierrez I'm building a food truck setup want to see how you did it from the start from chassis up words inside and out framework to the Stanley steel and plumbing do you have video in RUclips
Regards Franco
@@louiefranco7714 I don't build them from scratch like the chassis and such I buy them typically used ready to just build out
@@fbaltierrez oh okay thank you I love your show keep up with the work
what did you use for the trim when the wall meet the ceiling ? did you use like a 90 degree trim or you just cut the steel as strait as you can and just calk?
No trim. Used the piece that is straight cut from factory up there
That’s super awesome!!! Build your own . !!!What’s a estimate on building one . everything besides the trailer??
Something similar to this you are at about 14-17k just materials including cooking equipment.
Snap in bushing wont work for the panel? Its what im thinking of using. Keep up the good work!
Yes that is correct those won't work not enough clearance I used rubber electrical tape
Saludes vendiciones mi amigo
Hi amigo!!
Is there a specific place or height to install the outlets?
Not with us specifically, Check with your local vendor permit department and they will tell you specifically
Do you insulate the walls as well?
Where did you find those outlet boxes? Can’t seem to find any exposed boxes (not recessed into a wall) that fits a cover plate
There are in the description link under wire mold boxes
@@fbaltierrez saw it right after I commented 😂 thanks man.
So how are you cutting your sheet metal?

Hi what are the black frames going horizontal on the ceiling? We have a bus and the ceiling is rounded as well.
Those are the factory installed studs to hold the aluminum ceiling up
@@fbaltierrez hi frank thanks for getting back to me, how would I find them and where? Home Depot? Also how do you fill in the space between the hood and wall. There’s a gap I need to fill.
Hey man im about to purchase a trailer this week do you recommend 6'6 interior or 7ft
If you can get 7 foot for sure that one
Thats what I was leaning to putting a deposit on it today and picking it up next week thanks bud
Can I just run exposed conduit instead of running everything behind the walls?
I couldn't see why not. Just run EMT should work
@@fbaltierrez thanks! I’m getting a trailer built, I’m submitting the plans now, but it’s only going to be a partial build. It has an interior size of 15’9”x7’10” with 88.5” tall ceiling. The shop building it will provide a door large enough for a single wide commercial fridge, a 48” concession window, and the electrical, the rest is up to me. I have a 48” commercial benchtop flattop, 48” refrigerated make table, 40lb deep fryer, single wide commercial fridge, 3 bay and single bay sink, fresh and waste tanks, prep table, and several racks. I’m getting ready to get an 8’ hood, 60” chef base fridge, and a 12” bench top twin burner, water pump, and lp water heater. I’m putting everything I have into this.
Hey frank interested in buying the food trailer your building
Send me an email rollingburritosfoodtruck@gmail.com
Hey Frank what size of stainless steel you are using?
I believe it is 18 or 20 gauge
@@fbaltierrez 304?
@@Rmunoz1984 yes I believe that is correct the 304 is what I have
@@fbaltierrez thanks brother I need to buy like 12 sheets, here in MA price are $145.00 brother my trailer is 8.5 x 16
