I salute this boy. Being admitted in a medical school is surely a challenge. Furthermore, the catching up that he needs to do for his studies to refresh his academic foundation and later on achieving the prerequisites to be qualified to study medicine. About the girl, she's a real keeper.

This was really amazing. Chihiro realized the situation Takumi was in and she helped him get out of it and he was finally able to go to schools to achieve his dream. His mother would be so proud. The last clip made me feel like they became a couple. Also it looks like Chihiro towers over Takumi

Not just medical school but school and a life overall. He wasn't any better than a prisoner forced to do labor in this case.

Really odd that so many mechanics turned down fixing that car. Classic cars like that are worth a lot when in its prime condition, and people who own them are usually rich collectors. Maybe repairing it in Japan is really difficult due to parts availability?
Normal repair shop do not fix those cars due to the time it consumes and the little profit it makes. Im telling because I work as a mechanic myself. Sorry for my bad english.

The owner was willing to pay all the costs for repairs so it's not only a dumb financial decision it's also a dumb exposure decision.
@@lilchristuten7568 even if the owner pays full price. You still lose lots of money due to what goes behind close doors. Also those cars come with tricks that old mechanics knows. Also the older the car the harder is to find blueprints to help you in repairs. Those old engines have a lot of tricks that the textbook omits. As well mechanics in some parts of the world have to charge a flat rate which means that the more the car stays in the shop the less money you win. Charging more than suggested in the flat rated can get you in trouble with the autorities.
Too true. Especially if you don't specifically insured or licensed to work on cars. Probably didn't want to be exposed as an uncertified mechanic. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason he wanted his son to work there to begin with was because no certified mechanic would want to step in that shop. I've known some shops would do some shady stuff to increase profit from cutting corners on repairs and safety to causing more damage to a car to price gouging.
Yes, older cars are nice. so easy to work on and less electrical stuff to worry about. My car was running bad this spring, but a new set of points and I was off and running.
Takumi is a life saver for both man and machine alike. If I ever saw this person in real life I would be glad to have him as a friend.

Nah, female VA botched quite a few times. She read certain lines with exclamation marks really monotonous and with an unimpressed/bored voice even though female character looked all impressed.

This kind of toxic work place are a trigger for depression i must commend him for his struggle for a long time
They made it suck by making father incompetent. Would be much better and realistic if he was skilled but like... legacy freak due to how hard he had it as a kid and he needed to fight for everything and that shop is a result of the whole struggle and he just wants his son to build further on what he already achieved, so he, son, can have a better life. Kinda, hard love story.

Takumi's father was such a lazy, selfish and toxic person 🤢🤮 That Takumi repaired the vintage car that meant so much to Chihiro was the most important step for him into a better future (nothing against taking over the family business but it wasn't what he wanted) 🤩 After Chihiro heard about his situation she "forced" him to have fun with her ... I guess he was never before at a game center or at Karaoke and eventually she helped him to get out of the father's business and into Moroboshi's special school 🤩 As Moroboshi had foreseen, without Tamuki his father's business went south and the father had to work at a Konbini ... served him right 😈 It seems that Takumi and Chihiro became a couple while he was in Moroboshi's medical school ... for sure they're a wonderful couple 😍
