It got worst for the girls when they heard a lawyer who watched the stream offered to help the MC sue them for defamation. The MC refused the offer, but word quickly spread about it, and everyone treated them like criminals. Lilika’s friends blamed her for their problems, and severed all ties with her. Now a social outcast, Lilika locked herself in her room becoming fatter, and uglier.

There are a couple of misconceptions in the comments here. She didn't intentionally lie. What she did was keep making snap judgements which were wrong. She doesn't seem beyond redemption. If she could have accepted her misjudgment and stopped piling things on by being vindictive it might have been a better thing. However, she dug in and doubled down without analyzing the situation. It would be interesting to have the character become a better person instead.

Also, Masamune ended up being like that one young teenage boy in Utah and became the mayor of the town and the place grew into a major city within three decades. Meanwhile, those two girls, Sakura and Midori, married Haruta and Masamune, respectively, and now they are happy housewives and mommies. Masamune and Haruta then got an offer from the most preeminent true-crime novelists in the world, and they released a novel that was called Two Versus the Swamp, which was a massive international literary hit, not just in true-crime novels, but also in literary masterpieces as well, and it was also made into a multiple award winning major motion picture, as well as an equally critically acclaimed television series. The leg bent thing isn't as painful as you'd think. It's more of the shock because your brain can't process it. My nerve in my leg when it happened to me got damaged to the point that my leg was more numb. Does it hurt? Yes, but it feels more like a dull pain when it happens. Of course, there's pain tolerance as well. I can say I've broken my legs or sublixated my knees 30+ times in the last 21 years.

I remember seeing this in my spare time awhile back. What I don't get is why lilika would ASSUME haruta was looking up her skirt? Really? Especially to a person who's in a wheelchair? First of all, Masamune was making one of his streams of his smartphone, and, one of the things that he had dropped was said smartphone. The smartphone had landed in a nearby bush, thus it survived the fall with minimal, if any, damage. Also, since it was a smartphone that had a microphone feature, as well as a camera feature, it caught the audio, as well as video, of the incident that was in question, but that card would not be played, not yet, anyway.

The leg bent thing isn't as painful as you'd think. It's more of the shock because your brain can't process it. My nerve in my leg when it happened to me got damaged to the point that my leg was more numb. Does it hurt? Yes, but it feels more like a dull pain when it happens. Of course, there's pain tolerance as well. I can say I've broken my legs or sublixated my knees 30+ times in the last 21 years.
