These are AMAZING. I rarely see artists brave enough to show things they are unsatisfied with. Kudos!!! Also love seeing you not being afraid to paint on the bent part of the paper. I feel it makes everything more dynamic!!

These are so beautiful!! I love how you changed the style of the orange painting. I don't have balls to do that. I also completely understand the point about loving colors. It's hard for me to stick to a limited palette as well!!

I loved watching this video, seeing your art and hearing your commentary. I actually really liked the cloud painting, but I do understand the frustration of something in your mind not showing up on the page. When it comes to not wanting to paint or draw, I also experience that at times, and sometimes, I do push through it and find myself wondering why I felt that way in the first place because I start to enjoy what I'm creating in that moment. But other times, my brain-to-paper channel is just blocked, and when that occurs, I sometimes decide it is time to walk away for a little bit. You did what you set out to do, though! Amazing work!

I feel like each painting was a little masterpiece! Really beautiful work. I’m also a big lover of color, I’m a real rainbow chaser and keep trying to limit my palate but then I want to bring all the colors in (I can’t help myself😅)

Great work ethic! Doing some drawing and painting every day, even for just a few minutes at a time, really pays off in improved skills, but it's also a great self-care exercise. We agree also that frequent practice helps internalize forms and subjects so that eventually we become less dependent on reference. Nice!

Your illustrations are breathtaking! Seeing you paint makes me very calm and satisfied, it doesn't matter if the painting is perfect or not. Also, I can relate to letting go of trying to find the perfect reference. Now I use multiple references for certain details and I'm trying to grow my own style. This is only the first video I've seen from your channel, but I know you'll be a great inspiration for me ❤

Thank you for being so candid with your honest feelings throughout the days working on this project! I really hope this video is seen widely by young artists. Fear of a blank page, understanding and embracing the limits of space- and then the choices to add the unexpected- painting over a crease 'out of the boundaries', the subjects chosen- I'm floored! We try in art ed to preach to so much of what you were able to communicate in a short video, kudos to you. I found myself sort of story lining as new images were created, clearly your art tells a story. Happily subscribed just now, I can't wait to see your next adventure. Well done!
