Not only does he NOT understand....he doesn't give a s**t, period.
He will when that prison door slam
He understands
I really like this defense attorney. He has such a pleasant disposition. He remains professional and amiable despite having a rude, violent and disrespectful punk for a client.
I thought the same thing, you absolutely know his job is hard and even scary at times. I'm so glad that Judge Boyd stood up for him. Both times he has addressed the court on this defendant's behalf he's been extremely courteous and respectful. It's sad that he gets these individuals that refuse to live decently and lawfully to the detriment of everyone else, a small child in his case, and his attorney knowing all he did still has to stand next to him and speak on his behalf?? I absolutely couldn't do it. But, it's nice to see someone, despite having criminals for "Bosses" having his demeanor. I've seen some public defenders be downright rude and obnoxious.
I liked him, too! A nice fella that is pleasant and knows how to laugh, I'm sure. He certainly knows his stuff.
This big man that hurts a child turns into a big baby. So ridiculous. He needs to go away for longer than 10 years.
Maybe he will meet Bubba in cell block D, that would be real justice.
He should have gotten an ADDITIONAL 10 years for mumbling, bad attitude and horrible hair.
We will be seeing him in court again after he gets out.
😮facts
He is a big pouty baby. He starts out all puffed out and when he doesn't get what he wants his bottom lip sticks out a mile. 😭
Yep! His bottom lip's out so far, he's in danger of drowning if it rains.
@@cmsxcb Maybe it is out there to catch his little bitty tears. Ha ha ha
He's not sorry for the children he abused or beat his family members...he is crying for his horrible SELF..ONLY one he is worried about himself 😮😮😢
Life sentence for anyone laying hands on a child ! In a perfect world he should never have made it to court !
How about a short life sentence 😀
I think that he did more than "lay hands on", and probably deserves the Journey of No Return with a tour guide just as sick as he is.
@@DrBozoEinstein I was using a general term instead of goin into details fuck me there’s always a clown trying to one up everyone in the comments 🤣🤣🤣
@@DrBozoEinstein omg there’s one in every comment section seriously It’s about harming kids not getting attention here wow !
@@DrBozoEinstein it’s about the kids not attention seekers in the comments !
Dude got 10 for 25 and should be grateful.
The stupid are not capable of learning no matter how many times they get punished. He will come out and he will go back to prison again. The judge should have dismissed the “agreement” and given him the full 25 years.
Then the defendant would have rejected that, and demanded a jury trial instead.
If the sentence is concurrent with a totally unrelated case, doesn’t that mean he just gets off Scott free? Yes, I think it does.
It’s infuriating 🙄😡
Correct. It's not justice.
I think it may affect his ability to get parole.
If his parole violation ends up being 3 years, he'll still have 7 years of additional time (not calculating in good time). So it isn't a "zero years" sentence, it's setting a minimum for the parole violation @ ten years. ... I think.
This man is a habitual offender and has the nerve to come in with an attitude. He needs to be in jail for a very long time. He is a danger to the community and to his very own family and children.
I absolutely hate the prosecution for waiving charges. These idiots don't give a shit about the victims. Disgusting. This is why our justice system is a joke and broken.
they have to, they cant go to trial for every single thing
It’s why they over charge you so they can waive a charge or three to get a plea deal while looking magnanimous.
A Soros puppet.
@@MegaRagingBunny Lame answer.
No one said "every time".
Didn't you realize? He's the real victim here, society did this to him, I guess
Who is this justice for??? Who does that protect? Seems as if the number one consideration is the criminals' feelings and best interest...not society's.
Judge Boyd is an amazing woman! Her parents raised her right! To seek knowledge, earn education and live a moral life. They must be so incredibly proud of their daughter! She spoke of her childhood, her wonderful parents and happy childhood.
Why then are so many children slipping through t the cracks of society. WHY,because there are “Baby Daddy’s “, not fathers and husbands.
She's weak for giving this guy 10 years.
@@MrLamigra1337🤡
Absolutely
There should just be a meat grinder outside the back court door!!!!
Sure would save a lot of money and might even be a large deterrent….lol.
He’s trying to do this pitiful, sympathetic act 🙄 You can see it fall away after she says 10 years
His attorney looks just beat up! This defendant would wipe out anyone!!
Playing dumbazz and looks like he is flying high
lol, he isn't playing dumb, he actually is 🤣
“Flying high” reminds me of the most excellent CKY song “disengage the simulator.”
Yeah, he is about to cry and he took something😖
Gangsta hairstyle! Gangsta body language!
That’s not a gangster hairstyle it’s a monster wearing his hair like a child
not only does he understand but the reason why he is so low in volume is he is feeling sorry for himself
Apathetic.
He’ll be back and get the whole 25…🙄
Everyone's tough until they face a judge.
Boyd handled him expertly
Mr. S is not bright. But he is dramatic! 😂
Excellent oþservation and TRUE.
I love Judge Boyd!! I like the respect the defense attorney gave the court.
He’s worried about going to prison after hurting a child. Hope he gets a real good welcome.
He knows he will get beat up in jail.
You may never hear these words from this mouth again, but I actually feel sorry for the defense attorney. Got a nice deal from the prosecution, but the imbecile wanted to throw him under the bus. And the attorney's face (the side eye!) while the judge was questioning him.
Shows how much this country cares about the children. Same as elderly. They don’t gaf. He should get 25 years
What is wrong with people hurting children. Obviously he has been in trouble before. What a scumbag!!!
Damn that lady Judge is fantastic, a credit to her profession. I wish more Judges were at least half as professional as her.
Why did she except this? Hes barely awake or listening
Oppositional defiance disorder - classic case.
Dude looks high.
Why is this guy even speaking? 10 years he’ll be out in 2 weeks!
Oh no in Texas he'll do everyday of 10 for this charge.
Not if the prisoners get to him
this is texas, not cali
The corrections officers are more than happy to tell the other inmates he's housed with about his crimes against children. He probably won't be there long.
@@SeanJohn127 In California lifers almost never get paroled, violent offenders have to serve 85% of their sentences before being eligible for parole, and non violent felons have to serve half their sentences. That’s not even mentioning the stupid three strikes law that puts people in prison for 25 to life for stealing a VHS tape from Kmart.
The guy coming into view at 12.30 laughing and then answering his phone whilst a hearing is proceeding - so unprofessional.
I can’t get my head around how informal that courtroom is, and I don’t know how Judge Boyd copes with the too-ing and frow-ing of people. My OCD would be off the scale because I wouldn’t cope with the disorganisation. But she’s always very focused, and I love how she seems to know all the personnel by name.
I e seen this twice now and he looks like he is off his face, he can speak up when he wants things his way but mumbles the rest of the time. Disgraceful
He acts the way a child acts when in trouble. Pouts with lower lip stuck out and hardly speaks when asked a question. 😂
@@kisserofdogs3218 yes I half expected him to turn his back on judge Boyd . She is a wonderful judge judge Simpson is another favourite of mine. . Man child ugh what’s that saying ,don’t do the crime if you can’t afford the time . Any number of those sayings work here. Have a great day xo hugs from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
@@leannemayor5755 It amazes me how many people really expect and have the nerve to request no punishment. I love Judge Simpson too. There is also a new guy that some do not like because he gets mad and is pretty harsh but I love him because he acts the way I feel when watching these idiots. 🤣 Hugs and love from Alabama, USA!
The lawyer's smile looks AI-generated.
yeah, it was strange
Habitual felon. Very lucky to get 10 years. And his attitude says volumes.
Open Heart Surgery? This guy doesn't have one.
I don’t think he got her analogy.
That attorney lays it on way too thick. 🤮
I had just commented that I liked the respect he showed the court 🤣 but I can certainly see what you mean.
That's his job. Plus that way the POS can't say he wasn't defended properly.
@@ScubaFanatic60 but the POS did say that....
He's valiantly doing his job for a hostile client.
His client can't appeal regarding defense indifference. 🙄🙄🙄😑
What cute braided hair for me to pull on!
Boy, his attitude sure changed after they had a chat. The lawyer looked pretty happy while his POS client looked like he was going to cry. He got 10 years, the child he abused has a life sentence dealing with what he did. He can't even hold his head up. Accept responsibility.
I am flying high on meth so I can internalize everything the Judge says.
He’s on a downer not an upper.
💯
Dude’s attorney left Earth at 8:32 for a bit. 😂
Lots of people go to jail for things they didn’t do!
Like…
Didn’t pay your restitution
Didn’t get a license
Didn’t respect the judge
Didn’t show up to court…
Weak prosecutors and a weaker judge . Child abuser should have gotten the full 25 years
Any kind of Intentional harm against animals or children should (and needs to be) a capital punishment.
What is this atty thinking??? He looks so disheveled!! That's ridiculous.
What a tool
I LOVE her flower and purse arrangements. 🩷
She didn't want to say "your objection makes zero sense " so she just gave an example of another stupid situation . Later she just had to point out that they took off a 25 year charge but your saying he's ineffective .Really?
Judge PLEASE.. If these idiots want to talk to the court directly and not through their Lawyer .. Just let them talk. They know it all, That's what put them in front of you.
Concurrent!? BS. Consecutive is what it should be!! 🤬
She had a lot of pity for that poor defense attorney. 10 years may be a long time but that was a sweetheart deal all around. ungrateful prick. by the time his sentence is up, the kid he assaulted will still be a kid
And dealing with whatever he did to them forever.
Lost his wife and child in one stroke of the pen....NO CONTACT AT ALL!
I doubt he gives a shit.
That attorney did a good job, 10 years for a 25 year sentence is 15 off.
Tough case for the attorney, but he does his job very well! Best attorney Ive seen on this channel.
I don’t know how people mentally survive prison. The thought of serving one year gives me anxiety. I couldn’t imagine ten years or life in prison. That guy Ray Hinton that was wrongfully convicted and served 30 YEARS on death row before he was finally released after they realized he was innocent had to be the strongest mentally I’ve ever heard of! Can you imagine being put on death row for a crime you didn’t commit?! And sitting there knowing you’re innocent for 30 years.
One of Rays attorneys got him a deal to get off death row and serve life in prison but he wouldn’t take it. He knew he was innocent and he said he would rather be put to death than admit to a crime he didn’t commit. He has a book out that I just finished called The sun Does Shine. It was hard to read and realize all he went through but it’s such a brilliant book.
When keeping it real goes wrong.
Thanks Mikey
Hits kids and wants mercy? Don't think so
That PD is like a bad movie.
Why do so many Public Defenders look so down on their luck?
Don’t get paid much. Overworked and underpaid
intentional injury of a child, that means he did it on purpose. What a scuzz.
*His lawyer was only “Able to get him less than the minimum” by speaking less than 10 minutes and the judge decided to give him less… our system is broken*
His lawyer negotiated the plea deal with the State ahead of this court session, not in less than 10 minutes in front of the judge.
Putting a clueless comment in bold type doesn't make it any less clueless - are you related to the defendant? you seem to be about as low information as he is
@@Marcel_Audubonactually, the “Plea” was a standard agreement on the time. Of course the DA and Defense cut deals. That's what they do. Ill get this one to plead out if you knock off 10yrs of the “blah blah blah” case. The judge bases her decision on whether or not to FOLLOW that agreement based on victim impact statements, Criminals Support and Defense statement. So, the only person that spoke was the defense attorney that was placed on that case that same week. The judge made to choice to follow that BS deal. Last stop is her. She dropped the ball in that*
More than likely he will get more time in prison, his attitude will definitely earn him more time there.
The guys she asked to move. Didn't.
The defense attorney looks like he just rolled out of bed.
This defense attorney carries himself well
What a waste of a human being…
Also, this in the state of Texas and she is by no means a liberal judge and doesn't put up with any bull
Sit down before you hurt yourself.
Right wing nonsense.
Button your jacket, counselor fix your tie have some respect for yourself
Have you ever heard of " prison justice " for child abusers? Other prisoners who are locked up and not able to protect their children don't want them in the outside community either.
What a world when we share it with such people! Thank you Judge Boyd for taking on a job as difficult as this and doing it so very well .Strength to you .❤
I agree. She is a very classy woman too and I love her traditional outlook AND the fact that she GENUINELY CARES and wants to help these people be the best they can be. I bet if she has children they're stand up citizens and love her very much. Oh and the flowers in her courtroom, nice touch.
@@HeidiWylde I am in total agreement with everything you said .
The look on his face when she hands down the 10, he looks as if he is in shock. It will hit him hard when in prison for a couple of days
Never ever speak on the record to the judge.
He sould of got 25 years
Judge Boyd is a boss!!🫡🫡I also enjoyed watching a very animated lawyer having a conversation in the background around the 8 min mark too😆😆thanks for posting these hearings for us. Much appreciation sent from Australia💜💜🇦🇺🇦🇺
Here's the thing though: Just because the attorney got him "just" 10 years instead of the 25 years IF sentenced normally, does not indicate good representation. Not does he need to feel to have been represented very well. If I were innocent and my attorney would get me 10 years instead of the possible 25 years that I shouldn't be convicted for, I'd be pretty mad. And even if this is the best deal possible, still doesn't mean it's reflective of good representation.
So the new prison time runs concurrently with the previous home invasion charge. If I heard this correctly he's getting little or no added time but rather goes back to prison for busting his parole.
I don't think I want to know the details of his crime, but I'm guessing that 10 years is a bargain. He has another one coming up, and the Judge was gracious enough to make a note to let it run concurrently, but I'm thinking that he's a potential lifer in the system.
He giong to jail for hurting a child....He knows his cell buddies waiting on him
This defense attorney is hilarious. Aside from the defendant, who should pay the price, I could get a law degree, wake up, and get my jacket on faster than him.
Anyone betting this is the last time (other than his parole violation hearing, which should be a doozy) this guy finds himself up on criminal charges?
“Concurrently,”!?!? How about no.
One would expect a lawyer to be intelligent and articulate, but some of the ones we see on these videos sure belies that concept.
I'd like to see an instance of one of these so-called soviet citizens (sovcit) facing Judge Boyd. They'd definitely be the beneficiary of her extensive knowledge of the law.
Dang, Frankie Sandoval -Esq. looking rough af that morning. Beyond rolling in hot with the disheveled attire while throwing on jacket last moment, the runny nose and overused toilet paper look is not ideal.
He thought he was gonna beat the charges lmao hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa
“ oh I’m so hood smart I can be my own lawyer and do a better job and be home in a week “
Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
And why did,nt shw make him do a drug test? He,s high as she speaks 10:47
Lol I always get a kick out of this defense attorney. He’s like a cartoon caricature of a sad sack, hungover PD. Poor guy
WTH is wrong with him?! Heroin in prison much? 😵💫🤪
I feel sorry of Public Defenders .
Why is it that harm to a child is a 3rd degree felony but if u push a cops hands off of u who unlawfully touches u, its a 1st degree felony? Its bcuz they do not give a damn about ur children
That lawyer looks like Goldberg from the mighty ducks
Listen -- that lawyer is off the chain!!!! 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 to have his sentence run concurrently to the parole violation he knows that’s coming is genius! He light weight just got away with it
Wow. He doesn't care, but he will after more years in prison. Pretty sad kids don't have a decent dad.
Cry me a river... What a joke, should be consecutive.
Simple life advice: if you're going to wear a tie, do the tie up properly. Otherwise you look like a drunk.
If you don't want to do the tie up, don't wear one.
His lawyer needs a coke break. What a joke. Looks like he is dying in there. Tie loose, sweating, all nervous.
