One of the best high end bicycle build videos I have seen
Hey Armando thank you for your kind feedback! Stay tuned! ;)
Out of the half dozen channels I've seen doing bike builds every single one of these guys make fully internal cable routing look like a piece of cake. Yet in reality it drives us normal folk close to a psychotic breakdown 😂
It’s a practice thing on the Emonda you don’t have much for it to get hung up on especially when the frame is completely bare no bb
So relaxing to watch this
Truly is a dreambuild, damn that colour
A mechanic that knows how to wrap bar tape properly.
The first side he did was a major fail. He stopped with the end on top of the bar. Should of kept going another half and ended it at the bottom. Bar tape 101.
@@GNX157 "major" fail is an overstatement. At least he did the wrap direction properly.
@@djdelarosa25 yes that’s true, and on the SRAM shifter I suppose you can get away with it easily but most you’ll see when doing Shimano won’t bother getting the tape reversed because A if it’s wide enough and has adhesive, it won’t matter about loosening and B quite often if you try it you’ll end up covering the holes where the rubber lugs on the hoods engage to keep the hood anchored in place.
Yeah he a good mechanic though.
This channel delivers the best bike build videos - better than Gee Milner!
Lucky owner of one of these. Looove this beauty of a bike!
Me too😊 Emonda SLR 9 AXS, with the Project One Chroma Red paint
Don't click a torque wrench twice in a row. If you want to be super sure it's tight enough, do it 30 to 4 hours later after everything have had time to relax.
That's how we build planes and rockets
Rocket man
So fuck**g amazing dude …
The best video I’ve ever seen about bike building, so relaxed after watching. Perfect film edit ❤❤❤
Fan de la marque Trek, et ayant le SLR 6 frein patin, je lorgne se vélo polyvalent aéro et de plus à disque. Magnifique 👍
Old school - no latex gloves - respect !!!
Plus maximum dexterity too.
Beautiful machine and great to watch taking shape. Wish it would also come with rim breaks.
That is a beautiful bike!
Gorgeous build! The only thing that Is would like to mention is the weight of the wheelset. I expected a little bit better from Schmölke. 1400g isn't much but so isn't the price🤔
For a disc that is a pretty good weight, could have carved another 60grams or so by going to different thru axels(46g set) the Trek ones with handles are a bit heavy(110g set) but that is splitting hairs.
@@mdjl1978 my zipp 303 weight in 1350, half the price lol, same Emonda 56 with red weighing in at 6.99 with pedals bottle cage and computer mounts
Beautiful bike, hands down.
But for ppl info, this bike could be lighter. E.g. SLR cockpit, Ultralight seatmast cap and 49g (pair) thru axles.
really want this bike
Brilliant well done 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻
Stunning Bike🥹🥹
Quedé impresionado...
Nada que decir...(espectacular)
nice looking bike . .go go go Emonda !
Adds another 250gm for paddles and 50gm for cages and that would be a 7kg bike. Computer mount and power meter not yet added.
thats disc brakes for ya, the pevious rim brake slr was much lighter
17:02 this cable routing at the stem looks a little bit strange at such a high priced bike.
There is an integrated stem option, but I don't think the owner of this bike chose it.
Good compromise between aero + neatness on the one hand and accessibility on the other.
@@abrahamalkhatib9762 Hi, do you perhaps know which stem it is?
O gran telaio eccellente super nn so più che cosa dire stratosferico
Beginner/Even-expert? You will be impressed with quality/performance/price.
That is my dream bike ehh but I don't have a money to buy a road bikeand I don't want to have a bike because I just borrowed a bike from my cousin so I don't want to have my own bike and I also don't have a bike to buy so I'm watching your vlogs and I'm also jealous I'm because I'm beautiful with bikes that I see you assemble bikes thank you good bless
Lucky owner
Que belleza de maquina edmonda salufos desde chile
Saludos desde Alemania!
Always a SRAM build with these Trek bikes. Please do Shimano instead. Anyone can do a wireless build.
my dream..oh god 🙌🏼
At 7:14, he's adjusting the chain keeper? What is the best way to set it? As close as possible? How much space?
If we have that, do we not need the Kforce Chain Catchers?
It's a beautiful and very light bike, but once you add pedals, bottle cages and a computer mount, it will still be over the UCI limit. Great video though.
.... Not at all. My 56 size frame with Lightweight wheels is 6.72 kg
@@antoniobersani9751 I wasn't talking about your bike, I was referring to the bike in the video.
@@AllanPhillips Lol!
Que bonita por Dios 🤩
That color 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Nice paint work
Very good very nice, so well well well
Love it. Thank youn
does that seatpost come with the frame or is it 3rd party
Wow
👍👍
how do u get a frame only option for emonda 2021
How long do the batteries last?
สุดยอด
linda demais
Looks just like @ridesofjapan but heavier.
Awesome. Total cost?
11k?
@@ralr is it just me or is that an awful lot of money?
@@ralr more like 14-15k
@@b2theb If you want the best, you pay the best.
I would like him to work on my bike as well.
Que maravilla 😍
☕🏁👍🌃
I still don't know how I feel about having to cut the seat tube/seat post in order to adjust the saddle height...
On this frame you don't cut seat mast. Trek has 2 seat mast options 135mm and 175mm
Hipnotizado
Heavy frame, heavy wheels only thing not heavy is saddle...
тряпку на стол положить сложно ? Что б не царапать раму.
my frame carbon is 1300 gram n fork 450 gram kwkwkwk
Use a torque wrench!
Torque wrench please and look at my videos for bottom bracket spin my is a Hambini bottom bracket
Near of the half of the cost you can built a lighter bike
my carbon saddle destroys my bib shorts. its a product that dont make sense.
Does it make anyone else edgy af when you don't see a torque wrench on a carbon build?
Ask Riders of Japan for advice, 6.3 kg eaasy ;)
Pretty sure that's all thanks to the THM stuff
Faltó lo mejor,no se vio el peso?????? Es un chiste !!!!!
rubbish saddle. 99% of riders need flex to stop the hamstrings getting minced on the mid edges.
