I've been a Browns fan for over 35 years now. It's hard to get excited during the off season, but this is the first time I've been really looking forward to being a contender not only in the AFC but in the whole NFL. First time we've had this type of stability, talent, coaching, and depth in my lifetime. If Watson can just be a top 10-12 qb this year and we avoid any significant injuries, I believe we can put up a really good season. We're going to need him to be a lot better with the schedule we have. I believe it's the toughest one in the NFL going by last year's records
True and what some people failed to realize is that Watson had won only 1 playoff games during the many of the times he played for the Houston Texans because one he was playing in a prime era what the Ben roethlisberger and a Tom Brady and a couple others it was kind of hard to win playoff games in the AFC during that time!
Plus He didn't have too much experience only Talent it was because of how talented he is, not because of his experience
I mean especially the year they were 4 and 12 and Watson was still second behind Aaron Rodgers for an MVP 🤦♂️
The Steelers have the hardest schedule in the League this upcoming year .
@@jim944People keep saying that but I don't get it. The end of the Steelers schedule blows... but so does the Browns. I truly can't tell what makes the Steelers schedule any harder than ours. Hell, we have almost the same schedule. What makes Pittsburgs schedule harder than ours? Is it because they're ranked as a worse team or something? I really don't see it otherwise.
And I think the Browns will do fine with a 10-12 QB. They do not a no. 4, but it would be nice.

I think QB4 will be much better this year. I like Jedrick but he has to show some improvement as well. Coop is consistent and trustworthy. The WR corp should be ok, I love the Jeudy pick up and Njoku will ball. The defense is good, dare I say very good. We should be a contender.
If JJ goes for over 100 yards...this offense will be as potent as its. Defense which would be a dynamic 1-2 punch...really feel fortunate to have a great team to root for week in and week out
I almost forget how great Myles Garrett is year after year: Not only 14 sacks last season but the 4 forced fumbles. Video didn't mention Garrett IS the defending DPOY!

I almost forget to mention the emergence of Jeremiah Owusu Koramoah who FINALLY had that consistently good year right thru the playoff game loss when the D struggled (JOK one of the few 'struggled' exceptions)

Watson will play only when he wants to play. Otherwise, he will go to Stefanski and sit himself out, Mark my words, the guaranteed contract allows him the same monies whether he is in the game or riding pine. The Browns should cut their losses and get a quarterback who really wants to play.

@@jimbennett1519Baker was let go because he has the worst 4th quarter stats in the NFL for starting QBs. When the game was on the line under 4:00 left Baker would either throw a pick, cough up a fumble or have a weak 3 and out giving the ball back to the opponent. THAT'S why AB and Stafanski got rid of him. And it's what TB fans are gonna see this year again and again

Yes, Baker played too many games hurt in 2021.
I also recall Baker "refusing" to sit (Browns had a competent backup Case Keenum who knew the offense...) and the Browns promptly lost 3 in a row ... and only THEN did Bake agree to sit the final game because he was hurt AND the Browns could not make the playoffs. Mayfield was not good (to put it mildly) playing hurt in 2021.
One of the Browns wins that year was vs Denver when Mayfield did not play. The Browns won the Baker-less finale to finish 8-9.
But, at least he had a good healthy year in Tampa last year.
