  • During FABTECH 2015 I got a chance to use Miller Electric's Accu-Pulse Metal Cored arc welding. Neat trinket when you can weld it yourself.

+Tim Saunders Thank you,. The new job is going very well, and by that I mean its not as smooth as it should be and there is a fair amount of potential for me.
Shortly should be looking at closing on a new house, and this one needs a barn built on it. Still undecided about whether or not I will try to do the majority of the work, or just pay to have it done. Guess it depends on what people want and how much help I can get during the hard parts.
Thanks for sticking in there with me!

+Jack Coughran I would like to get back there and help out some more, but not sure on anything in my schedule at the moment. Thanks for the nice comment Jack.

I use accu pulse welding at work and I don't like it. Its required for certain products we weld. I just don't like the cosmetic look compared to the stand mig weld.

I don't think those welds would pass a VT

ohyau2 all depends on what welding code and inspection criteria you are working to, which of course this one is none.
