How about building a small 4 cyl diesel and use a Subaru for a platform? That would be truly bizarre and awesome. I've seen gasoline Subarus with twin turbos turning all 4 for almost an eight mile and a diesel version would be so damn different. Use a Forester for "truck mode" instead of the usual WRX.
If you are blowing engines as often as you are..........ummm...........time to get a new builder for sure. Can't be a big name and be blowing stuff up.
