Ford 427 SHOH side oiler was one of the most bass A$$ motors ever built! I had a 427 SO with tunnel port heads on street gas I would get 1200 HP at the tires! had it stuffed into a 64 falcon sprint. I miss that car...
Young man, those are some of the most awesome looking and sounding vehicles i have ever seen or heard in my life and I'm 68 yrs old. I thank you. Papad.t..
I know I’m a year late and might even be stating the obvious but the twin blower 68 charger with the 5.9 is actually a pretty dope idea. You don’t have to wait for the turbo to come in to go anywhere since they’re engine driven. And when the turbo finally starts pushing boost its like somebody hit the red button.
Mr. Steve Darnell thanks for showing the world real cars it's my dream one day I can afford for you to build a rat rod for me you make the best machines I've ever seen keep up the good work diesel power is the best
That Falcon is badass. It is the gnarliest sounding car there. Blower whine is better than turbo squeal any day. In most garages, the Packard would be loud. In this garage it’s as loud as new Lincoln
went on the tour of the shop in 2019 and just watching this video reminds me of how it felt in my chest standing next to those whole they were running. By far one of the best tours to go on while in Vegas
Just stopped by the shop on our way back to Wyoming and have to say the shop is awesome and Steve is the real deal! Out walking around , visited with my two boys as if he knew them . We were hoping to see the 57 as we are starting on mine at home but he is all my boys can talk about! Keep it real!
I just watched this. All I can say is wow, thanks for taking the time to share this with your fans. I really need to take my grand kids there to see your shop. Cheers Hans from Spring Creek, AKA Desert Dawg
That 5 window would be my daily driver. Could you pic your kids face at school if you pulled up like that. Priceless. Unfortunately unless its a few bucks I will never see that. Nice rods man.
So, awesome to hear each one run and, what each one sound's like. They all sound mean as hell. You definitely have built some of the most bad ass car's and, truck's out there for sure!
Amazing work brother. The from the plumbing to the paint its all flawless. I wish I could see them in person. I miss your show on Discovery Ch. and the beautiful ladies on the show. Keep up the great work!
Best video ever. Would be so cool if you wouldn’t edit out any of the cranking - that’s the fun part of old cars. And also maybe show a in more detail what the startup procedure of each of them is. What you do with the gas pedal, choke, switch’s, etc. please make more!!
This was great! Interesting how the Charger sounded a little like a 3.9 4BT Cummins. Loved the sound of the 4BT welder running alongside 6BT of the truck's engine. You'll have to make some driving videos too.
Waching you fire up your cars brings back memories of my apprenticeship restoring vintage Bugatti. I used to be able to tell which master engineer put the engine together by the sound on tick over the joker car sound just like one of those sounds. The pachard reminded of the t46 I helped on huge powerful and silent. If I could build anything like one of your rat rods it would the iron rod complete freedom to go out and do what you do best.
Thanks for makeing the cars, your tv show and RUclips channel. Your works are one of few things to inspire me to want go out and work on cars again after long time away from it. Please keep makeing them. All the best from the middle of motor sport valley UK.
That's so awesome steve, cant wait for the next video you put out. Hopefully it's nice enough out next time me and the wife are down to hear some of those in person fire up.
The only thing missing is Big Daddy Roth Rat Fink... Love "em all! Thanks for sharing your toys with some of us less fortunates! Any chance the Packard came via Washington state? My Dad had one and it looks pretty familiar. She's Beauty!
Id love to spend an hour inside steves mind all of this mans creations are just amazing The charger is still my absolute favourite car you built with the cancer car a very close second witb the fair ride and joker cars joint third Keep up the great work
I LOVE THIS!!! If you like this do the tour. Took my husband for a surprise tour and it was totally worth it. Steve has a ton of knowledge. We could hang and chat all day with him. I would say for myself I have a list Joker, Haunted, the D-rod............Okay all! Now we need to add the smell and the feeling that goes through your body when you start them in real. You should do one with your tractor 😀
You do amazing work! I've been following your builds ever since Vegas rat rods! I've been meaning to ask, how do you do the blown out metal look that you have on some of your vehicles (like the Peterbilt)? Do you just freehand a shape and bend it out or do you follow any type of pattern? I'm thinking it would look good on a ratted out jag xj6 with a turbo bursting from the hood!
Who else misses his show
I love how he still cares about restored cars and doesn’t just blow em off he is the best balance of rat rod and classic
Thanks Luke, appreciate it!
Steve is really living the dream, being able to keep all his creations .
The blower surge on all of those cars makes me harder than diamonds
That 427 side oiler is insane. Such a rare engine.
We took the shop tour in 2019, totally worth every dollar and now hearing that sound of that Ford Falcon again in this video is just so awesome 😊...
ruclips.net/video/USHmk4ksJaY/видео.html
One of the best rat rods in the world under one roof.
Well, A guy can never have too many turbos! Amazing engineering!
Right!? Thanks!
The 6v53 brings me back to working on APC M113 when I was in the military. That's the motor we used in it. Love the sound!!!
ruclips.net/video/USHmk4ksJaY/видео.html
Love em all !! This Guy builds a vehicle you can drive!
ruclips.net/video/USHmk4ksJaY/видео.html
The coolest collection and this is the real deal on the internet. Would like to build me one someday.
Yeah, its amazing what you can buy with all that money from the Discovery Channel....
Steve's been doing this before Discovery dude, this is literally what put him on Discovery
its not hard. just a lil time and a vision. you can do it. im building one
@@moosemanprophet5942 ok thanks. That's cool.
@welderup I was telling my grandma that when Covid goes away I’ve always wanted to go see the shop I love all the cars y’all build
Thanks Timmy! Looking forward to meeting you one day.
Sweet. Man the Falcon is wild.
ruclips.net/video/USHmk4ksJaY/видео.html
The detroit diesel would be the one to have a drip pan under it 🤣
Had a picture of a Detroit. It leaked oil
@@coyotepete1619 🤣
Was about to comment the same. If there's no oil under em there's no oil in em. Lol
It's like the best sounding engine too love it
My detroit unbelievably never leaked oil
I WANNA SEE MORE OF THAT COUPE SITTING NEXT TO THE PACKARD!
Imagine that dodge ratrod in a cleetus and car's burnout contest 🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸
Like them all. I am more of a Chevy truck guy, but that 427 Ford is a honey. Thanks for the vid.
You bet!
All those cars and Truck sounds like music to my ears
Very nice! I really miss welder up. Please come back and make more pieces of art. Love them all Steve!
Your life would be like winning the lottery to me.

Favorite show of all times
Watched you build most of those cars! Nice treat, glad I'm wearing headphones!
The Ford falcon is my favorite I would give my left 🥜 for that thing........
Same here and it's a side oiler 🤤🤤🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ford 427 SHOH side oiler was one of the most bass A$$ motors ever built! I had a 427 SO with tunnel port heads on street gas I would get 1200 HP at the tires! had it stuffed into a 64 falcon sprint. I miss that car...
Love this so much! I what I enjoy the most is that everything runs lol

Love hearing all the different vehicles run. Just curious what type of fuel does most of your vehicles run on?
The haunted 55 sounds really nasty! A lot of really amazing vehicles in your collection!
I am a auto mechanic car restorer in the uk and man top respect your cars are amazing.
I appreciate it!
The 56 green Chevy is ridiculous!!!
went on the tour of the shop in 2019 and just watching this video reminds me of how it felt in my chest standing next to those whole they were running. By far one of the best tours to go on while in Vegas
Thanks for the nice comment and thank you for coming. Glad you enjoyed the tour.
Wow...You Sir is living every motorheads Dream...Great Cars
You’re the man. D- Rod still my favorite. I’m a Cummins guy what can I say
Man oh man. You have one of the best collections of cars if not the best. All so BADASS !!! And ready to rumble!!!
They’re all beyond cool. Seeing them all together blows my mind. Awesome
Just stopped by the shop on our way back to Wyoming and have to say the shop is awesome and Steve is the real deal! Out walking around , visited with my two boys as if he knew them . We were hoping to see the 57 as we are starting on mine at home but he is all my boys can talk about! Keep it real!

I was there that day when you take the D-rod and doing donuts in the back of your shop that take me back love it
We took the tour a few Fridays ago. Definitely worth it. Steve is a great guy, very personable, no bull shit kind of guy👍
Thanks for coming to the tour. Good to hear that you enjoyed it. Steve
Hands down sickest car collection I’ve ever seen. Just nasty the way they should be!! Awesome thanks for showing up
I keep coming back to listen to this
This collection is far batter than what the Imperial Palace has on display. My favorite is Eye Candy! Awesome car & collection! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Such a great variety of engines used let alone how unique the overall builds are!!
We were just in here last week cool seeing all the cars fire up. These cars are 10 times cooler in person.
Thanks for coming in Dylan!
I just watched this. All I can say is wow, thanks for taking the time to share this with your fans. I really need to take my grand kids there to see your shop.

Wow! Every single rat ride you have there sir is flipping bad ass!!!! Nice Work.

So, awesome to hear each one run and, what each one sound's like. They all sound mean as hell. You definitely have built some of the most bad ass car's and, truck's out there for sure!
Thanks hornefoundations, I appreciate it!
soundin so clean!!!
Dang, that was sick. It's like a song you can't get out of your head, all I keep hearing is all the sick engine sounds. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁👍
That Detroit 2-stroke sounds sooo smoothe!! Not like any diesel I've heard before.
That's about all they're good for......sitting there, leaking oil. Practically a worthless engine. Detroit, lol.

STEVE OUT DOES EVERYONE IN VEGAS HANDS DOWN!!!!!!
Watching this video at five am I turned the volume to max and woke the whole household. Thanks your awesome 👏!
He who has the most toys wins, what a collection 👍
When it comes to sound there is no replacement for a cammed gasoline engine.
IKR,these BEASTS make some serious music
the haunted car looks badass !
Awesome collection you have! I have quite a few myself hopefully someday I will have them all plated to drive whenever I want.
Best video ever. Would be so cool if you wouldn’t edit out any of the cranking - that’s the fun part of old cars. And also maybe show a in more detail what the startup procedure of each of them is. What you do with the gas pedal, choke, switch’s, etc. please make more!!
I like the Charger! And the rat rod with the Cummins! 1,200hp in that car is absolutely crazy dude!
Wish this show would come back on tv!
This was great! Interesting how the Charger sounded a little like a 3.9 4BT Cummins. Loved the sound of the 4BT welder running alongside 6BT of the truck's engine. You'll have to make some driving videos too.
Hi Mate thanks for taking the time to show and firing your awesome builds up 👌👍Ash from Australia
Your welcome Ash, I am glad you enjoyed it! Hello Australia.
Wooowie that cummins must be a torque monster
Hard to pick a favorite but I would love to have the haunted car
My favorite, the Ford and the Cummins powered school bus, awesome!!!
You use the best engines man

Great video Steve, thanks for sharing some of your rides.
Ahh music to my ears
This was definitely the most interesting episode of Hoaders that I've seen, not quite as much trash inside as on average, but still good.
Cool as hell shop! You build some killer rides!! Very talented!
Looks like a fun place to spend time!
