I'm beginning to think this may be not only the best Offspring album ever, it may be the best of album in the last ten years!!
From what i've listened, it is, no doubt about it. I could even genuinely skip from Americana to this one (despite still kinda liking Conspiracy of One at times).
The solo is pre-Offspring, from their song Call It Religion. Awesome throwback!

In the Mid90ies I was introduced to Offspring as a young kid and ultimately fell in love with Punk - the riffs, the speed, the lyrics, it was like something struck me and since then has never let me go. For over 25 years I'm into Punk thanks to them.
They sure disappointed me in some way with their long period of albums like Americana etc.
And now they're back! The band that actually somehow turned me into what I am today, is finally back! Unf*king believable great, it's like I'm 12 again! Big love for the new album!
They kept me dissapointed, too. For over a 20 years. But this one, showed me why I was dissapointed. I'd like to listen to the raw garage ones, but they evolved. And with Hassan Chop they showed that they didn't change a lot 🤩 still can do all they want and kick ass! 🤩

In terms of aggression, yeah I can see that. But it marries the newer sound with the older speed in a way that most reminds me of the stuff off _Splinter._
