I recently received permission to camp and hunt on a friends Land. Here is my first night there just checking it out and showing off some aqua quest gear. ENJOY!
I wish they made this Bivvy in a Olive Drab color, so that it could blend in more with the woods. But it’s still a super cool shelter for a Go-Bag or Bug-Out-Bag. Nice vid!
I Like The Base camp In a bag concept. That was nice of your friend glad he didn't mention the Haunted house at the edge of the property.... Just kidding.... Great cooking / camp set up. Coffee outdoors is the best.
Awesome video brother, great camp, and location. I dig the hooped bivy. Aqua Quest makes awesome stuff. I have the 10x10 defender tarp also, it is probably the best tarp on the market.
Great video! I love the aqua quest defender as well. Bombproof tarp. I haven’t used their Bivvy but I have an Outdoor Research one and it makes setting up camp a breeze.
I missed like a 10 yrd shot at a deer with a rack like that last Fall, lol. You practice all these far shots, hard shots from around corners, and squatting, and sitting in your chair, because you think, man its hard to get close to a deer. Then what happens? You hear something, you turn around and there's a 10 pointer right there, behind you lol. Yah, I was so mad, I almost threw my bow on the ground. I called it quits that day, and went home early lol. I lost sleep over that for more than a week. I must of shot right over it. I wouldn't be surprised if the feathers from my arrow didn't graze him on the way by.

That's an expensive bug net. Begs the question why even bother putting a rainfly on it when you have to use a tarp as well?
