You can get the the celebration edition for $25 in order to unlock every single skin/emote from the get go. Trust me, its worth it if you dont have the time to grind credits.

Co Op hasn’t been out for a year. Content was extremely dry at the begging of the year and only started getting better in August/September. It wasn’t like this for a year
@Slytoki no its not. It was actually free content. There are no longer any form of lootboxes in this game. You cant buy loot boxes or even earn them. Instead you earn credits which you can use to buy cosmetics relatively quickly. Alternatively you can buy them but I personally own them all without having spent a dime.
He's my main and in hvv I'll land between first and second spot always, he just takes a bit more getting used to and he really shines with the right star cards
Especially in Battlefront II as they have gone with photorealistic artstyle. Maps like Death Star II and Starkiller Base still amaze me with all the lighting and reflections everywhere!

I main as Grievous, the trick is to play him more tactically instead of rushing into battles. I use Thrust Surge to strike an enemy and then use Claw Rush to escape. Barely use unrelenting assault.
For all day 1 players here. This is our reward. When everyone told us this game would never redeem itself. We proved them wrong. Redemption is always an option. May the force be with you.
jroyall gaming EA are the publisher. If they didn't want DICE to update this for two years straight, they would've made that decision, and if they did, they would've made that decision alone and told them to.

I know once Ben came onto the scene, things started changing drastically for the game and overall communication from devs to gamers who still play. Personally, I'm thankful they never gave up on it. The game is much more balanced, fun and more variety today than it was compared to its horrible launch.
give credit to where credit is due, DICE is the one that fixed this game not EA. EA's been out of the continuous post-development cycle of BF2 giving DICE control on what needs to be done to fix their game

Probably because it sets a bad precedent. That you can push a broken game at launch and fix it through updates after a few years. Something like no man sky can get a hard pass once considering it's an indie studio's first game at such large scale. But an established developer like DICE has no excuse to make a broken game at launch
This game isn't perfect, it's got it's flaws, but it's definitely made improvements from how it was and it's great to see content still being added by the devs and the playerbase and community still active and growing again with this comeback.

I respect your opinion but from my point of view, I wouldn't call it a "masterpiece." The game still has a number of flaws, glitches and iconic characters that aren't even in the game, including Mace Windu, Padme Amidala and Ahsoka Tano (of which General Grevious had voice lines towards), Cad Bane. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Grevious and Dooku weren't even in the game when it came out because EA rushed Dice to release it. OT Era Supremacy doesn't even have a ship phase and it is clear they used what would've been Ahsoka's animations for the ISB Agent. And yet they say their vision is complete. If EA weren't greedy for money, Battlefront 2 could've been one of the greatest Star Wars games ever!

Didn't even touch on the Coop mode that came with the Felucia update. It's the most fun I've had in a Star Wars game (minus Fall Order) in a very long time. That mode had me addicted for a while just replaying the same few maps that were available when it first released. It's extremely challenging, but you never feel you're stuck in a corner with no way to push forward. It's extremely immersive as well, and one of the most immersive Star Wars experience in a video game ever. You're coop partners cutting down waves of droids as Anakin and Obi-Wan while making quips at each other while you provide support as a ARC trooper is an absolute blast.

Wait, what loot boxes is he talking about? Just for clarification, you actually can't unlock any cosmetics via loot boxes and all the skins in the game come with the Celebration Edition anyway!
The crates are only for skin bundles. The bundles can be purchased via credits or crystals (premium in game money). Also, capturing points in capital supremacy doesn't give AI reinforcements. AI reinforcements are already and always available for your team during the ground phase. Capturing points and holding majority points, will only increase your percentage until 100 percent and giving reinforcements for the capital ship phase (but there are really not reinforcements, its just saying that. The Strike/Extraction mode isn't jetpack cargo. Jetpack cargo was a limited time gamemode. Also, the Felucia map is from the cartoons, but it was also featured in Episode III.
I'm so happy they did an updated review. More people need to know this game is almost completely different than when it came out it is league better. Great heroes, great ships, maps, modes and the game plays and looks great (sometimes lol) well worth the reinvestment

Hurry while it's still cheap everywhere. I've seen the price skyrocket since people have given it a second chance. I joined the battlefield community about at the beginning of this year where they fixed the issues but people where still wary. I think it's been a solid game lately but get it cheap while you can. I got mine for 5 bucks on G2A

small correction: "loot boxes" aren't actually loot boxes. They're just bundles with the lootbox animation. They always give you exactly what you try to get.

@@airhdbd8188 it's been left there because some people still had daily crates saved up, but it no longer has any meaning. It's just a pointless menu option now for most people, except for a few and they didn't want to take away the crates from those people who chose not to open them.

@@triple-d2640 With the way that game's been heading lately in terms of updates and stuff. I think that's a lost cause tbh. Hackers are putting more work in that game rather than the devs themselves. At least Anthem devs are putting in content and balance/bug fixes that people want.

Yeah at least Anthem was fun enough to play through the campaign of when I got it for 10 quid. It's got solid gameplay. It just wasn't the game I wanted from Biowares A team after they'd had like 6 years to make a new game.
This game is truly great and a lot better than it was initially. One of the best multi-player games out now.

I main as Grievous, the trick is to play him more tactically instead of rushing into battles. I use Thrust Surge to strike an enemy and then use Claw Rush to escape. Barely use unrelenting assault.

jroyall gaming EA are the publisher. If they didn't want DICE to update this for two years straight, they would've made that decision, and if they did, they would've made that decision alone and told them to.

@@EdindroWhitehall I think it's more on Dice's end bringing back the game to where it should've been in the first place. I know once Ben came onto the scene, things started changing drastically for the game and overall communication from devs to gamers who still play.
Personally, I'm thankful they never gave up on it. The game is much more balanced, fun and more variety today than it was compared to its horrible launch.

Probably because it sets a bad precedent. That you can push a broken game at launch and fix it through updates after a few years. Something like no man sky can get a hard pass once considering it's an indie studio's first game at such large scale. But an established developer like DICE has no excuse to make a broken game at launch
EA seems to be turning around this year with fallen order, NFS Heat, battlefront 2 hope they continue like this

This game isn't perfect, it's got it's flaws, but it's definitely made improvements from how it was and it's great to see content still being added by the devs and the playerbase and community still active and growing again with this comeback.

@@BB-qf8qd the game is for real star wars fans only. If you understand the lore to a T then it becomes way more fun. It's for casual gamers with hardcore knowledge of the movies,comics, and shows. I prefer hero's vs villans if you want a gamemode not so lore based

I respect your opinion but from my point of view, I wouldn't call it a "masterpiece." The game still has a number of flaws, glitches and iconic characters that aren't even in the game, including Mace Windu, Padme Amidala and Ahsoka Tano (of which General Grevious had voice lines towards), Cad Bane. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Grevious and Dooku weren't even in the game when it came out because EA rushed Dice to release it. OT Era Supremacy doesn't even have a ship phase and it is clear they used what would've been Ahsoka's animations for the ISB Agent. And yet they say their vision is complete. If EA weren't greedy for money, Battlefront 2 could've been one of the greatest Star Wars games ever!

My biggest complaint is balance, or rather the lack thereof.

Didn't even touch on the Coop mode that came with the Felucia update. It's the most fun I've had in a Star Wars game (minus Fall Order) in a very long time. That mode had me addicted for a while just replaying the same few maps that were available when it first released. It's extremely challenging, but you never feel you're stuck in a corner with no way to push forward. It's extremely immersive as well, and one of the most immersive Star Wars experience in a video game ever. You're coop partners cutting down waves of droids as Anakin and Obi-Wan while making quips at each other while you provide support as a ARC trooper is an absolute blast.
The amount of content the game has brought in since the beggining is staggering.Honestly my favourite Multiplayer game ever,you cannot get bored,ever

No of course not
The crates are only for skin bundles. The bundles can be purchased via credits or crystals (premium in game money). Also, capturing points in capital supremacy doesn't give AI reinforcements. AI reinforcements are already and always available for your team during the ground phase. Capturing points and holding majority points, will only increase your percentage until 100 percent and giving reinforcements for the capital ship phase (but there are really not reinforcements, its just saying that. The Strike/Extraction mode isn't jetpack cargo. Jetpack cargo was a limited time gamemode. Also, the Felucia map is from the cartoons, but it was also featured in Episode III.
EA, you've earned a little credit, you could've abandoned this game like you did MEA, but you didn't. So nice work.

I'm so happy they did an updated review. More people need to know this game is almost completely different than when it came out it is league better. Great heroes, great ships, maps, modes and the game plays and looks great (sometimes lol) well worth the reinvestment

Hurry while it's still cheap everywhere. I've seen the price skyrocket since people have given it a second chance. I joined the battlefield community about at the beginning of this year where they fixed the issues but people where still wary. I think it's been a solid game lately but get it cheap while you can. I got mine for 5 bucks on G2A
