Great video! We stayed YEARS ago when they were working on the Tropical! We want to return…. Is it worth the upgrade to the Palace? Any tips on making dinner reservations? Or getting real alcohol in your drinks😉
Thanks so much for watching! It’s absolutely worth returning, and I do think that the palace is a great upgrade! Having stayed in the palace for several years, I do think it offers much more than the tropical. Not quite sure how to have them pour you a drink that isn’t watered down, maybe it’s just about quantity vs quality here.

Can you go to all restaurants throughout 6 hotels? They are all inclusive, no? What are the places, things that will cost you in this massive 6 hotel resorts? If you stay in one hotel,you can enjoy all amnities 6 hotels offer right?
The hotels are all inclusive, yes. you cannot use the amenities of the other hotels unless you are staying at the adults only hotel (Riviera). That is the only hotel that gives you amenities at all of the different resorts. The palace hotel gives you access to five of the resorts (with the exception of the Riviera). The remaining for resorts only have access to the amenities at those four resorts. There are many experiences that will cost you extra like the dolphin, experience, spa packages, the separate waterpark, mini golf or bowling, The escape room… Really anything that would obviously cost you extra.

I had the worst experience at this Hotel AND DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY FAMILY. Ever since the bartender threw my 2 dollars into the tip jar like it was trash I completely lost respect for them for acting like @ssholes. Another incident was when my 3 year old son walked out of the kids club where supposedly he was supervised, luckily me and my wife where close and saw him. Another incident was they took forever to bring our luggage to our room since they forgot Oh! by the way! they entered our room without knocking and my wife half naked!! Also the pool bartenders pretty much ignore you if you're not tipping well and the food and desserts SUCK it's below average, I had so many complaints to managements about their POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm done with this low end resort and it was the Palace! This year I'll be visiting "The Grand Moon Palace" a real UPSCALE RESORT.
I’ve gone to this resort for many years, and, fortunately, never had an experience like this. I’ve only experienced good customer service! Sorry your experience was less than stellar.
@@jslandstudios There's many bad reviews on Trip Advisor on his Hotel, and it's been getting worse. The first the I went in 2017 it was fine, but on our second visit in 2019 it was a poor experience. I ended changing resorts and now I've been going to The Moon Palace Resort, MUCH BETTER customer service.
@SaL Again, sorry I had a bad experience. I’ve been going there since 2009 and have loved it every time. I guess it’s different for everyone! I also just checked and it has 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor so it seems like the overwhelming majority of people enjoyed their experience as well!

This is a great resort. Thst complaint, I’d guarantee, comes from people who are likely never happy with anything in life. Barcelo is so much fun. Been here 5 going on 6 times. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Do you have to do all walking or there are some golf car that you can drive or drive you?
There is a bus network that drives you between all of the resorts, but there is a lot of walking as well

I beg to differ on the watered down drinks but other than that great video.
It’s definitely watered down- maybe not in the proportions I mentioned but it’s absolutely diluted.

Yes, very empty in the lobby, theater, and convention centers.
But at night everything changes and way more people go to those unused resturants
