So, I’m a military police officer and the worst fatality call you can see, in my opinion are DUI accidents. When it comes to drunk drivers a lot of law enforcement officers are no where near as nice as this officer was because nothing sucks more than seeing a mangled body when it could have easily been prevented. Each drink you consume you should wait four hours before driving. If you can’t wait, get a ride. Don’t drink and drive.
4 hours per drink huh? You a medical Dr. now, poncho? WTF. You have ZERO idea what you are talking about. We all agree that drunk driving is HORRIBLE, but don't throw out bullshit like this. That's like telling kids pot and herion are the same level of bad. Kids aren't stupid and when you LIE to them you lose trust.
4? Interesting.... In flight training due to some...rather interesting effects on brains at high altitude we're required to spend 24 hours from a last drink. 8 required by law, 16 by company policy, and the union requires a full 24 or you get a letter of termination.
The one thing that was true is the officer was being like the average white man, or even just the average decent person, polite, respectful, patient and doing their job

Same here... been hooked binge watching these body cam vids... and I've noticed that most of the time the officers have Jesus like patience when they are dealing with these entitled criminals.
The officer, being on duty, had MUCH more reason to be anxious too. His life actually IS in danger on shift. He handled that very well. If he wasn’t a cop she’d have been screaming at him just for the “ma’am” oh the horror of being called ma’am as a female. Most women don’t like it just because it’s used for “older” women typically. I call any adult female ma’am if I don’t know their name. Or “young lady” (I like calling elderly women that)
This is about how 90% of DWI stops play out. There are so many that act like this. This officer did a great job of defusing her antics, staying relaxed, and responding perfectly by not getting emotional.
Another reason why i hate the “bad cop” videos. Most of them are made to lure out cops and to bait cops into bigger measures like dragging people out of cars.
@10:07 Exactly. I heard this saying quite some time ago and it rings truer and truer every day. "We have become a society where everyone has a right, but nobody has a responsibility".
i have diagnosed social anxiety disorder. it never ceases to amaze me when people try to claim social anxiety as a way to get out of being disrespectful to people. my social anxiety makes my people-pleasing, southern manners side come out so much that i will literally be TOO respectful to people in positions of authority over me - i’ve had multiple people comment on my being overly formal and polite - to the point i won’t stand up for myself even when i know i should. i understand that oftentimes the same disorder can look pretty different in different people, but how someone who is acting like this can claim social anxiety is beyond me.
I've been diagnosed with minor social anxiety. And part of that is hating confrontation so I also find I'm overly polite and passive to avoid uncomfortable discussions and interactions.
Same but with autism, it actually drives me up a wall. It so easy to spot ppl who self diagnose themselves, because the shit they use as an excuse just isn't what autism can cause at all.
My social anxiety makes me avoid interacting with people most of the time except a few very close individuals. When I go out I'm told i'm a super friendly, cooperative and well spoken person, the entire time i'm vibrating internally over how fucking terrifying it is to speak to someone I don't know. I cannot wait to get home, close the door and forget about how I had to interact with people. It hasn't gotten easier at all, and medication made it worse so I just do my best to force my way through it when I can and not get upset over something meaningless as a stranger and what they say/think about me.
The fact that this is REAL LIFE & not a parody or SNL skit is absolutely mind boggling!!!! How did that cop remain so calm?! Omg, we are doomed…😩😩🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
One of Two things happen when you've been in law enforcement for a while. One, you get jaded and get rough, no tolerance for BS my way or the highway. Or you get very nonchalant and chill like this guy and desperately try to get people to not make it worse for themselves and make you do more work. Because you've seen it all, you know how people are gonna react and you don't want it to go that way but it often does.
Social anxiety is not an excuse for stupidity. Having suffered from social anxiety myself, to such a degree that even leaving my house to get groceries was enough to scare me, I can’t even imagine using “Erm, my my my s-s-social anxiety is w-why I almost k-k-killed someone.” The victim of your drunk driving isn’t gonna give af about your social anxiety, because it’s never an excuse. It’s already a bad idea for you to be drinking if your anxiety was that bad.
She got pulled over for drunk driving then proceeds to mention a 100 things that have 0 to do with why she was pulled over. Glad to see her manipulation tactics didn't work and glad she was arrested
Exactly! Being anything but courteous and polite to an LEO (or anyone just doing their job) is almost unfathomable to a person who lives with social anxiety. (Yes, I am one myself) I'd say you nailed this one! That person is nauseatingly phony.
right, not to mention i personally wouldn't even go out to drink or anything ill rather sit at home and drink or smoke. you'll never catch me at a function where I'm not all there.
Why is it that only women claim to have "social anxiety"? I'm sure there are some unicorn guys that the fact-checkers will correct me on, but it's usually women.
I am part Cherokee Indian. I do not speed, drink when I know I will be driving, this why I am offended by her, yes her actions. Anyone who has studied history, knows of the high alcoholism that runs in Native Americans culture. I am not saying all Native Americans are alcoholics, just that she stresses she is Native American is offensive. She has PTSD, from what? Must be the Liberal education she has gotten. I watched that video two weeks ago and like all others busted for drinking while intoxicated, it is everyone else'a fault for their poor decision making.
When someone showed this video to me I immediately thought right wing misinformation (I'm right wing too but this seemed staged AF) I hate being trapped into confirmation bias type traps but fk me I'm blown away that this is actually true 🤦🏼♀️
She really had the hubris to not only ignore what she did wrong by making a plethora of excuses, in this case driving drunk, but actually believed she could talk her way out of responsibility. Like Cooper said, when I was first pulled over , I was pretty anxious, but only because it was my first time, and I wanted it to go as amicably as possible. Interrupting the police officers' duty with nonsense and personal facts instead of acknowledging that it's your turn to stop talking and do what is asked of you is incredibly immature and a lot of what's wrong with people today. Horrendous display from a supposed adult.
This officer is a saint for putting up with that mess. She was driving drunk and deserves to be arrested. My dad died because of a drunk driver so I say get these dangers off the road. This woman is unbelievable!
"I have really bad social anxiety" is not an excuse. This coming from a guy who used to _never_ leave the house due to crippling anxiety, and who still stays in the house 99% of his time off work, but while out and especially while at work, I am very friendly and charismatic and a point of social gravitation for others because of my demeanor. It didn't fall out of the sky. I had to earn that through putting myself in situations that were difficult and uncomfortable. I had to get over myself.
There’s nothing more frustrating than somebody sitting there saying “You’re white” WHEN THEY’RE WHITE!!!!! Or just saying it in general like it’s somehow something bad.
Did you not hear… she’s an indigenous, nonbinary, radioactive, demisexual, lesbian, male who identifies as a guard rail. While also suffering from generational trauma, ptsd, and dwarfism. Jeez people are so insensitive nowadays 😠
She didn't have to announce she has mental health illness problems because she's already said she's non-binary. *That's an oxymoron.* *Correction:* Because she was acting like a moron the word "oxymoron" popped into my head. I unfortunately used the word incorrectly. I know the definition but had a mild brain fart. Thanks to those that collected me. Unlike her I don't like looking like a fool.
I appreciate the effort, but oxymoron is not the word you are looking for. Oxymoron is a "Cold fire" "Jumbo shrimp" etc.... The word you are looking for is "redundant."
I was talking to my Native American friend about this and he said he feels like his culture does not matter, because anyone can say they are an indigenous person. "They are so entiteled"
Seeing this individual really upsets me. I lost one of my closest friends to a drunk driver and seeing the lack of responsibility is appalling. The consequences would have been far less if she just was honest rather than trying to make all these excuses and refusing arrest.
As an Alaska Native woman, her drunk driving HAS to be punished in favor of indigenous people. We have a horrible alcoholism epidemic that has caused the stereotype that we're always drunk. So if she wants to endanger people and enable our negative stereotypes, she deserves to be punished. We have to set a better example for the next generation of Indigenous children, especially if we want to heal the generational trauma she mentioned.

Bro just because 1 person on the internet does something dumb doesn't mean an entire generation of people do this. I've never met somebody of that generation who would do that in my life.
The typical blaming generation like the previous generation wasn't responsible for raising the next generation at all. The generation just ruins itself, sure.
Thank you for saying 'woke/victim' rather than 'left'. I know a lot of women, right AND left, who play victim in these situations - "Please sir, I was only trying to get home to bed and the junction layout was so confusing for my pretty little head. Oh please forgive me, is there anything I can do, just say it". I suppose you can't blame a person for trying; most dudes would be like "I was only doing 50" or "Can't you catch real criminals" or whatever.
Yeah she is making it seem like most white men go around beating up natives in regular basis just because they are Native Americans 😂 Like that ever happens ever lol.
The heights of ignorance to tell a first responder about your so called traumatic lifestyle. One day on his worst shift with him would put everything in perspective for her. She would never complain again about how bad her life is.
I used to work a security and community support job in a northern indigenous community and I had to deal with people exactly like this and even being indigenous myself they would still play all these cards when I had to deal with them. it was always the same two people that did this shit it’s not all of us that do this but there is a lot of my people that victimize themselves and use being indigenous like a disability.

Once my daughters reached the age of 9, if they acted this way in public, I'd add extra chores to their week. This child/adult needs a real wakeup call. Shame on the parents. Thankfully no one has ever made an issue with gender while talking to me, but if they did, I'd insist they respect my pronoun. "Master".
I like the pronouns ɠ (voiced dorsal velar implosive stop) / ǂ (palato-alveolar click), hearing someone actually try to use ɠ or ǂ in a sentence is pretty amusing!
Anyone else care to point out that playing the indigenous card while driving drunk is a huge loss for stereotypes surrounding the indigenous community ? What's one of the biggest stereotypes around indigenous people ? Ding ding ding alcoholism perpetuating dangerous situations ... way to push an already huge stereotype even further . Absolute disgrace .

Was with ya right up til the end. "Some would let her off". No. Not anymore. You used to be able to sweet talk your way out of DUIs up til the 90s (ish), but that's long gone with bodycams and dashcams. If he let her go and she hurt someone, he'd be at fault. There are a FEW moving violations you might escape, like driving an unregistered/unplated car to the muffler shop, so you can get it back into driving order, but not a DUI.
I saw this video a little while ago. I'm happy that people are coming together to share how they think that it is unjustifiable and inexcusable. Accept 100% accountability regardless of circumstance.
I had a bad anxiety attack last time I got pulled over - said I was speeding. Know what I did? Polite and calm, drove carefully after being told I could go, had my anxiety attack at home, like a sane and rational (if past-traumatized) adult does.
She soooo reminds me of a tenant I use to have in my house, she even sounds like her! Totally so sick in their thinking that they are always the victims & we can't do anything about their bad behavior because of their "issues". I'm so glad she's out of my place & don't have to deal with her anymore.
If she suffers a lot of things and "traumas" the more reason to be apprehended! She should be in a psychiatric hospital... That way she can get the help she needs but refuses to "ask" That police officer is an awesome person!!!
@@Weezy1975I think what he meant was, she should have been in a phsychiatric hospital before it came to this. She's so far gone. Obviously she needs to be held accountable now. It'll do her some good. But she needs long term help. She needs to be deprogrammed.
I enjoy your videos so much, they are just so intriguing. As a 13 year old girl, you help me understand and differentiate between toxic mentalities the right thing to do. Thank you for your videos Brett, stay safe and continue being you!
Once upon a time anxiety disorder used to be a problem to be solved - people wanted to get rid of it through professionally assisted confrontation with their trauma. Now they're just carryin' it around like a badge and bragging about their current mental disturbance.
She reminds me of a young child saying whatever they can to get out of trouble. This is a woman who got the doll when she threw a tantrum as a child in the ToysRUs. 20 years ago, when I was a teenager, we said guys who acted like this had never been punched. Now it's just normal, smh
This video killed me. I remember when I first saw the video. I couldn't believe how ignorant of a person she was trying to be pulling all of the "cards" for every stupid excuse possible. I can sympathize and feel for the officers that have to deal with people like this. I'm a police officer myself for the Army, and the stuff that police officers have to deal with in this day and age is just ridiculous.
I am so tired of the younger generation all saying they have PTSD. As a person who was locked in his house with his dead overdosed father for 36 hours at 8 years old i really suffer from the disorder. It makes me sick when I hear them just casually use it as an excuse.
It is honestly so incredible the amount of patience the men and women that go into any enforcement role have. I am marrying this type of man and his patience is one of my favourite things about him. I am always amazed by his patience and it has made me realize just how little I possess.
When your only option is to tolerate woman pushing your limits, because any sort of retaliation makes you "toxic", you develop patience quite fast. Woman don't need to do so, even hitting men is ok because "you are weaker than him"

As a (civilian) medic, I second this. Unfortunately, it’s usually the other driver that gets the brunt of trauma.
4? Interesting....
In flight training due to some...rather interesting effects on brains at high altitude we're required to spend 24 hours from a last drink.
8 required by law, 16 by company policy, and the union requires a full 24 or you get a letter of termination.
I need to know if you are seriouisly of the opinion that someone should wait 4 hours before driving after 1 can of beer.
That’s why I always take Ubers to the place I’m going so there’s no urge to drive my car
I love how he goes "you and me both" and she immediately started to self-destruct under the weight that she might not be a victim in this scenario lol
I agree, but sadly I doubt she/he/it even noticed.
"I followed all your s#@%!"
Yes, and you failed. Therefore, you get fitted for a nice, new pair of silver bracelets.
The one thing that was true is the officer was being like the average white man, or even just the average decent person, polite, respectful, patient and doing their job

Police bodycam videos are one of my favorite things to watch on RUclips. I genuinely do appreciate officers like this guy.

Already saw that (fuller) clip on Code Blue Cam, guy had wayyyyy more patience than I could have.
She should be charged assuming the gender and race of this officer if she like playing that game lmao
"You and me both" was the most gangster move I have ever seen from a police officer. That was absolute checkmate.
It's the same for me honestly

Truth and justice doesn't care about your feelings.
This officer is a saint for putting up with that mess. She was driving drunk and deserves to be arrested. My dad died because of a drunk driver so I say get these dangers off the road. This woman is unbelievable!
