It's not even that much." (She was asking for a 65% discount sample) And Tom said, "Ma'am, that';s offensive to me, as a Chickasaw man I feel your using MY heritage as an excuse is both patronizing and offensive, so i'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to stop." When it comes to drunk drivers a lot of law enforcement officers are no where near as nice as this officer was because nothing sucks more than seeing a mangled body when it could have easily been prevented. Social anxiety is not an excuse for stupidity. Having suffered from social anxiety myself, to such a degree that even leaving my house to get groceries was enough to scare me, I can’t even imagine using “Erm, my my my s-s-social anxiety is w-why I almost k-k-killed someone.” The victim of your drunk driving isn’t gonna give af about your social anxiety, because it’s never an excuse. Like Cooper said, when I was first pulled over , I was pretty anxious, but only because it was my first time, and I wanted it to go as amicably as possible. Interrupting the police officers' duty with nonsense and personal facts instead of acknowledging that it's your turn to stop talking and do what is asked of you is incredibly immature and a lot of what's wrong with people today. Horrendous display from a supposed adult.

This coming from a guy who used to _never_ leave the house due to crippling anxiety, and who still stays in the house 99% of his time off work, but while out and especially while at work, I am very friendly and charismatic and a point of social gravitation for others because of my demeanor.

Who ever is that cop, please give him an award for such patience. He was do sweet to her and trying to make her comfortable in the situation.

These kinds of videos are my favorite. I love seeing entitled people getting humbled.

I am so tired of the younger generation all saying they have PTSD. As a person who was locked in his house with his dead overdosed father for 36 hours at 8 years old i really suffer from the disorder. It makes me sick when I hear them just casually use it as an excuse.

It is honestly so incredible the amount of patience the men and women that go into any enforcement role have. I am marrying this type of man and his patience is one of my favourite things about him. I am always amazed by his patience and it has made me realize just how little I possess.

When your only option is to tolerate woman pushing your limits, because any sort of retaliation makes you "toxic", you develop patience quite fast. Woman don't need to do so, even hitting men is ok because "you are weaker than him"

@@racebug6134 Umm this was not meant to be disparaging towards women. We have the ability to have an incredible amount of patience too. I'm saying in comparison, my partner and I have different levels for different situations. His profession deals with more extreme people than mine. I cannot imagine doing what he does, but he also doesn't have the demeanor to do what I do. We balance each other out like healthy adults should.

@@dots_com1386 I agree, people have the capacity for patience, I was simply pointing out that having patience, or being forced to be patient, are different things, and explain the discrepancy in "capacity for patience" you described, and in manny other aspects in which men differ from women.
I wasn't making the point directly towards you to be honest, just providing commentary on a reality of life whose effects you noted and pointed out in your comment

First time I have watched this channel, it was very reassuring to hear someone else echo my inner thoughts about situations like these. Sometimes I - and I am sure many others - feel like THEY are the ones who are out of step because they have 'common sense' attitudes to just this sort of victim mentality. So, thank you - I feel a little less weird today! 👍

Look I’ve been through a lot of things due to my disabilities but NEVER have ever used them as an excuse for my mistakes that I’ve made. We are in a society that excuses bad behavior and it’s coming back on us. On a side note, that cop needs a raise because he handled that with grace 👏🏻

Dude, this guys bed side manner and customer service is better than some dentists I've worked with before. Such a nice dude. So sad to see our society being eaten away to this where up is down and down is up.
Hopefully the officers can still point them to receive some actual help. While in jail maybe?

I’m a 100% disabled vet. Have a state issued OEF plate and Infantry blue parking pass and I’m worried that if I get pulled over these are the kinda people I’ll be compared too.

The cop handled it like an absolute hero. The anxiety probably came from all the victim cards having fallen completely flat
