There is some magic in this lights and shades. Every time I see this picture I feel like I am again 10 years old sitting with my grandmother after diner watching sunset… that’s a real magic 🥰 🏔️
Beautiful stitching! I love all of your projects and your videos. I'm wondering if you experience any warping using tent stitching. I started a project but I had to scrap it because the warping was very noticeable. I just my tension was too tight.
Thank you! No, I don’t see any fabric wrapping even on Lugana which is very soft canvas. I know that several factors might prevent it: 1. I don’t stitch too tight. I would it very opposite. Sometimes some stitches hang a little bit so I have to fix them afterwards. 2. I don’t stitch in one direction. If you always stitch from left to right that might be the main problem. I always stitch every stitch from bottom hole to the top one. So, in one direction they all go left to right, when I go back they right to left. In such approach they equalize each ether and do not push just to one side. Actually, that’s a very good question. Probably I need to make a video about it to show in detail how it looks like.
@@StitchingMasterpieces thank you for the tips. I think my biggest mistake was stitching them all in one direction. I'll use your advice on my next project!
Hi! If I stitch a design with tent stitch I do it for the whole project so it is nice and even. I like the both - cross stitch and tent stitch. I like tent stitch because it is is airy and flying. I like the feeling. However, for some projects I can choose cross stitch because it feels better. For example, if I stitch faces most probably it will be cross stitch. And if I would like to have the final project to be in a bigger size cross stitch would be preferable. But tent stitch is my true love and I always consider it at first 🤗
Hi! I stitch with Cross Stitch Saga application. It is much more convenient to use compare to Pattern Keeper. If you are interested I showed it in a detail in this video ruclips.net/video/W4FoXol58Xo/видео.html Thank you for watching 🤗🥰😘 Happy stitching 🧵
That’s a great question! My favourite ones are Lugana 25ct, Congress 25ct, Hardanger 22ct and Aida 16ct. Usually I stitch for about 3000 stitches on one fabric and switch to another one to have some rest. If I stick to one type of fabric for a very long time, I get tired faster. If we talk about which type of fabric I select when I start a new design, it is: Light colour scenery goes on 22ct Darker colours sceneries can go on 24-25ct People and “inside a room” art would go on Aida. But recently I realized that I prefer 16ct compare to 18. It moves much faster and easier to stitch. My approach is to enjoy every stitch 🤗 Happy stitching 🧵🤗😘
New start is so exciting! Hope you enjoy every stitch of it! 🥰 Yes, my dominant hand is underneath my work. When I initially moved to two-hands stitching I found it the most convenient and fastest option. As fas as I stitch from top right corner my left hand do not cover the area I stitch. But I know some people stitch the opposite way and they like it. So, it is like any other thing in this world - everyone finds their own the most convenient way of doing things 🤗 Happy stitching! 🧵🥰😘

@lisaalexander9110 good luck with that! Hope it will help 🤞🤞🤞
Are you doing yent stitch one over one for just the sky or for the whole design? And do you prefer whole cross or tent stitch?
