Hi! Welcome to the cross stitching world! It is very exciting to start such an enjoyable journey! By full coverage designs is usually mean big size stitching projects. In most cases cross stitches cover all the area of stitching. So, when project is done, fabric is not visible, because it is all covered by stitches. It most cases full coverage designs have lots of colours. 100 colours is almost a minimum point. When you stitch full coverage designs, it can be very big. There are two option of stitching it - cross stitch or tent stitch. Tent stitch is stitched on higher fabric count (smaller cells in size) and it is literally half stitch. The cell on such fabric is small enough so half stitch covers it fully and there is no need to make the second half to have great results. Tent stitch is 30% faster in stitching, stitched project is smaller and every stitch is smaller

Oh! Actually I made a video today answering your question. I’ll be posting it sometime next week. In short - I am going to frame my big projects. Probably with the help of my husband. But smaller finished projects I have on walls without framing them. Just pin them to the walls and I really like how it looks.

Thank you so much! Oh, I feel like I already favourited my own shop and ready to stitch everything I have there 🤣 Sometimes I regret that I can’t stitch at least 5 times faster! In such case I would have so many beautiful things created by my own hands. From another hand, stitch by stitch we bring the beauty to this world. And it does not really matter if it is 100 pieces or just 100 stitches, as far as we feel satisfied by it, right? And every WIP gives so many different feelings. Fresh air from Castle in the Sky, joy of summer night from Hobbiton, cozy time with Scholar in the Library… your collection might be different but still lots of interesting thoughts, right? 🤔 🤗🥰😘

@ I couldn’t agree more. Each piece I have brings me great joy in their own way. I look forward to starting Castle In The Sky. I love too all the images within the piece, the dragon clouds, and I even see a face profile on the left edge of the upper castle if you zoom in. Stunning! Do you have a fabric recommendation? It’s quite a large piece and a lot of shops aren’t offering that size. 🤗

@Cali_Jeni I stitch it on Congress 24ct. In the bottom part of the design there are some dark colours and canvas is slightly visible on these parts. But it is such areas where it feels natural and overall I like this fabric for this project. If I would have to restart it I would do it on this fabric again. I bought it from 123stitch. www.123stitch.com/item/Wichelt-24-Ct-White-Congress-Cloth-36x50/9406-194 But I really like stitching with tent stitch and it would be too challenging to stitch this design in crosses. Not with level of patience at all 🤣

Thank you! I stitched one project at a time sometime ago. And it was great. I enjoyed it a lot! But now, when I tried to stitch different projects every day I got completely different way to enjoy it. Sometimes I can stitch the same design for days and see it grows. But over time I feel a need for change. I like all the projects I have on my hands 🥰

Hi! This project is on Hardanger 22ct. I don’t stitch with pattern keeper. It does not have all the features that I would like to use while stitching. I stitch with Cross Stitch Saga. I talked about it in this video ruclips.net/video/W4FoXol58Xo/видео.html And every pattern in my store is compatible with both - pattern keeper and Cross stitch saga so you can choose which app is better for you 🤗

I tend to have different types of the videos so everyone can find whatever they like on my channel. Short and long videos, some tips and stitching ideas. Hope to have talking videos as well. If you don’t like short videos I am always happy to see you on the long ones and stitch with you for longer period of time 🤗

I stitch it on Hardanger fabric 22ct. It will be 35x62 cm in my case. On 18ct it would be 42x76 cm but I don’t want to stitch this project in crosses 🤗

Usually I find a middle point, make a grid from it and start from the top right corner as it is the most convenient for me at the moment. The most important to carefully count all the cells to find the right place so the picture will be centralized and as far as I make all the grid I am 100% sure that I cut the fabric without a mistake

@Bella198625 oh, interesting! Usually I don’t do anything with canvas except sew it on edges to have it stable. When I just started my the very first project with tent stitch I gave up after 3000 stitches. It did not go well. But now I really like tent stitch. With this dragon it should be fine because it is not very dark project. Good luck with it and give yourself at least 5000 stitches before making a decision. Happy stitching! ja, ich habe mit dieser Art von Anker geübt, damit er immer 100 % funktioniert und sicher sitzt. Ich habe festgestellt, dass, wenn ich meine Nadel zwischen der Schlaufe und dem Stich zurückschiebe, sich ein kleiner Knoten bildet und dieser immer sicher sitzt. In meinem Video habe ich versucht, es so genau wie möglich zu zeigen.

@@StitchingMasterpieces крестиком в полтора раза медленнее. При моих скоростях я буду 10 лет его вышивать. Но честно говоря, подумываю о крестике в одну ниточку на хардангере 22 Каунта. Но это пока так... Мысли вслух))

Hi! For gridding I use “Paper Mate” pen that I bought in local Staples. They are erasable by heat. If you don’t have them in your local stationary I would suggest to check any erasable pens that are intended for students. Just don’t forget to test them before use on your canvas
