    One of the most beautiful cars in Audi’s line up in my opinion. My father just bought this car partially because I showed him some of your videos! I am absolutely in love with this car. Keep the update videos coming! Great work!

      Thank you so much! I really appreciate your support. I really wanted to make the same kind of videos I was looking for when I was shopping for an allroad. I'm glad you have found them helpful! The allroad is by far my most favorite car i have owned! Thanks again for watching and commenting!

    I’ve been wavering on whether to spend more to get a 2017 over a 2015 and these videos helped me decide. Thank you.

    Nice vid. That cargo divider could save your life in an accident. Prevent stuff from flying in to you and distracting you more when trying to recover from a hit or prevent your cargo from perhaps killing you. Good stuff from Audi as usual.

    OMG! Thank you so much. I had no idea about the second option for the cargo divider. When I get mine it'll be a dog barrier lol.

    Thanks for that! Bought my allroad used and had no idea what that divider thing was. Thought it was a wind baffle for the sunroof or something.

    Thanks again Bryan. Trying my Allroad out on the snow today here in France - running a spare set of winter tyres that means the car is really sure-footed. I'm going to have to see if the luggage cover can be hidden away in the lower section under the rubber mat.

    • @BryanNewton
      @BryanNewton  6 лет назад

      The US allroad does not have an option to store the luggage cover in the lower section. I would be super jealous if you car has this option. But I'm already jealous of all the other options you guys get that we don't... = ) At least there in Texas we don't have much of a winter so I'm good with all season tires all year around. So far the michelin premier as has been a great improvement over the oem tire! However I may try the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ next time around to try them out. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

      Bryan I can tell you that the US gets a much better deal on standard spec and prices than we do in Europe - you have the scale of the economy.
      Yes not so much snow but I do remember bad ice storms in North Texas when I worked over in there. Think I prefer snow to ice but Texas is a great place and you are lucky to live there. Keep in touch if you have any questions?
      Regards, Mark

    Hi Bryan. Thanks for all of your reviews on the Allroad. I just bought one. Curious to know if you’ve measured the cargo floor length with the rear seats up and rear seats down.

    Dude, nice video but the cargo divider is for animals to keep pets in the back with the rear seats down or the rear seats up and it separates the animal like when you have a dog. They can stand in the back and not come through to the drivers area or the rear passenger area when transporting pets.

    I love your videos - they really helped me make my car decision! I had the same car route as you - went from a 2011 Subaru Outback with 150,000 miles, got a 2018 Allroad prestige. The seats are so much better. It is lower and a little harder to get into. Cargo space is significantly less but it’s manageable. I’m thinking of getting a set of Thule crossbars and a cargo box to help with the cargo need. I also need a bike carrier. On my outback I had a hitch mounted bike carrier. I don’t want to put a hitch on this new car so maybe I’ll put everything on top. Did you get a hitch and do you have cross bars? Let me know what your experience has been with those things!

    • @BryanNewton
      @BryanNewton  6 лет назад

      Thank you soooo much for taking the time to watch my videos. So for a bike carrier - I also had a hitch mounted bike carrier for my Outback. While there are a few 3rd party hitch options, I'm in not way going to let someone cut into my bumper to install a hitch. So I ended up getting a yakima cross bars w/ the highspeed bike mount system. The only reason I ended up with the yakima setup was It was on sale at REI! Since this has been a winter time purchase I have not had a chance to fully use it yet! But spring will be here soon! I will for sure cover this in one of the upcoming videos. Thank you so much again!

    Just a question out of subject. Do you think a 6cyl was a better option?

    • @BryanNewton
      @BryanNewton  6 лет назад

      Unfortunately In the US the 2.0-liter TFSI turbo-charged four-cylinder is the only engine available for the A4 allroad. But the 2.0-liter turbo is a great!

    Premium Unleaded? Not so in the Golf Alltrack, yes less power but more storage 30 cu ft and a 6 spd manual. May want to save your $$ build on the VW is superb. Faster auto vs engaging manual, ill take the manual. Cargo divider stores below floor when you dont need it. BWM wagons storage management and ergonomics are better than both. Advantage of buying a car that is evolutionary and been in the line for decades vs some SUV/cross over made for specific markets...

    • @BryanNewton
      @BryanNewton  6 лет назад +1

      The Golf Alltrack is a solid choice. All of the traffic in Austin, takes the fun out of owning a 6 spd manual. I had filmed a video about the Alltrack .. but the audio was bad... but I’m going to make another one soon. I’m not much of a BWM fan .. but I need to take a look at there offering to better compare to the allroad. Thank so much for checking out the videos!

    I'm curious about the sound system. I noticed that you have the virtual cockpit. Where I'm from, that means that the trim level would include the B&O audio system. How is the quality of the sound system in the wagon? I'm sure it would be a bit different in the sedan given the amount of difference in actual interior volume. Thanks much for the little tidbits of information from an actual owner's perspective. Most helpful.

    • @BryanNewton
      @BryanNewton  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, the car does include the Bang & Olufsen system. I'm quite happy with the allroad's B&O sound system. At first I was not impressed with the system, However I think the system needs some time to be broken in, because over time the sound of the system has greatly improved, along with using higher quality audio sources/files. I think it's one of the better OEM sound systems you can get in this price range.

    • @chetthehoss
      @chetthehoss 6 лет назад +1

      That's good news. You had mentioned in one of your other videos that they removed the badging from the speaker covers but not replaced them with anything. What was that recall for? Were customers complaining that the badging was rattling or sub-standard fit and finish quality? Just curious.
      I have been in a few different A4 models with that sound system in it, but the dealers always boost the bass and have other terrible settings. I never have a chance to get it dialled in the way I would have it, so I wanted to hear from someone who had it. Thanks for the information.

    • @BryanNewton
      @BryanNewton  6 лет назад +1

      The recall was for the trim on the front & rear doors could come loose from around the door speakers, leaving sharp edges exposed. I didn't not personal experience this myself and had no issue with the trim around the door speakers at the time of the recall. However I'm still waiting for those pieces to be replaced. So nothing too major. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Glad you're a part of the community!
