I believe I know what the jukebox was. It’s from the mod Sophisticated Backpacks. Mobs can spawn with backpacks with certain arguments and one of the mobs probably spawned with the music argument (hence why you heard it even though the music setting was off.)

The music at the end was really sad but felt just right for the moment. Even animals in game are hard to lose! You should totally do a 200 days!!!

I know this is horse focused, but if you wanna hear suggestions for mods you might wanna try genetic animals! It adds genetics to the other farm animals (cows, sheeps, pigs, rabbits, llamas, chickens...), gives them some new utilities (you can saddle and ride bulls! Gives a use to the vanilla minecraft saddle) and all around fits very well with swem and the minecraft farm life experience. It doesn't change wolves/dogs nor horses so it should be compatible with doggy talents and swem!
When Rocky died, why did that hit me so hard! I love watching this video!! It was so enjoyable to sit down with my tea and watch it! I love how you can build so well! I wish I had building talents like you. Please Please Please do a video on 200 days and make it a series! I hope you get another horse or herd! Thank you so much Abigail for the video content! What made the jukebox playing even more creepy was that it was playing a song called Mellohi. If you know Dream SMP, this was one of the music discs. Ranboo had this really creepy episode where he kept hearing this song play, over and over, even when he took the disc out. Kinda freaky it happened again but to another person

I'm so sorry for your loss, Abby! Maybe you could go from 100 days to 200 days? Maybe 300? And get more horses, make an arena, more things you wanted to do. Maybe even beat the ender dragon, and make diamond armor!

I got this in my feedback and this really brings childhood nostalgia a bit, mainly because when I was little horses were my favorite animal. They aren't my all time favorite animal anymore, but they are still very magnificent. My favorite animals are wolves now, but anyway this was such a beautiful 100 days, really brings out my admiration for horses and people who do own ranches and stuff like those.
Honestly i CANT stop rewatching this, as someone whos always loved horses and minecraft, this is amazing mixing the two, sadly i cant figure out how to install or download the mob on my phone but im working on it anyway amazing video❤

I have watched many 100 days challenges on RUclips, and I can confidently say that this is my favorite one. Your buildings are so beautiful and creative, it was almost like magic to watch the farm slowly develop into a stunning place that I wish I could live at! And losing rocky was so sad, I almost cried at the grave scene 😅

Why did a Minecraft made-up horse getting lost in the forest hit me so hard!! Rocky was life. You should do some role plays in this world and possibly find another horse and make him look like Rocky!! I loved him lol.

At 14:00 the strange music was from a jukebox. I dont remember the name of the song but it could be mellohi? Im pretty sure you have the sophisticated backpacks mod and that mod makes it so mobs can spawn with backpacks. Those backpacks can have upgrade thingies and one of them lets you use a music disc. When the mob spawned the music disk started playing.
Im speaking from experience here. This happened to me too 😂. And enderman once spawned with a black backpack and with the disc 11 playing. It was super creepy but i ended up getting the backpack with the upgrade.
I hope i was able to clear things up 😊.
The ending made me so sad I cried I know rocky was just a pixel horse but he was a special one in all of our hearts

For future reference, you can also get white dye by composting seeds and such to get bonemeal, then turn that into white dye.
You can also automate the process with a chest and hopper above and below the composter.

I haven't finished the video yet, so I don't know if you ever figured it out, but if you have Sophisticated Backpacks in this modpack, then that was probably the source of the jukebox music. Sometimes mobs will spawn with backpacks with a jukebox upgrade. It freaked me out the first time I encountered it too haha
