people say listen to lyric less songs while studying, but nothing sounds more comforting to my ears and brain than the music and lyrics by imagine dragons!
It’s because you know the songs so well that your brain could recite them back to you. And it’s actually just as beneficial to listen to songs you do know so well because then you connect certain topics to certain lyrics however if you listen to new songs that you don’t know as well it can be detrimental to your study process as your brain is trying to retain two things at once. So you should either listen to songs you know really well or listen to lyric less songs while studying for the best effort at retaining the knowledge.

I am so proud to call them my favorite band I love how their sings are unique not like most pop culture right now all about girls and their behinds. their songs are respectful and very well written not to forget they are very catchy. they are the ones who got me into alt_rock type of music. they send messages and make statements through their songs and I love them for it.

FusionLink2001 I've listened to a fair amount of rap, gets old with the same garbage. Of course what I say is an opinion and you shouldn't take it to heart. When I listen to rap that's really all I'm hearing... which makes the 'song' not sound like music, but instead like a 14 year old (who just learned about a few swears) talking about his day or telling a fictional story.
