It's almost poetic that Pang De who only served Wei for a relatively short time, refused to surrender, while Yu Jin who was one of Cao Cao's earliest and best generals did surrender. Now history remembers Pang De as a fearless warrior and Yu Jin as a coward.
Kinda ironic though, in the cutscenes he seems talking about how the troops needed to be more disciplined and accepting their fate. But in the end, well, some of us know what he actually do.
might be a lil late posting this but you can view the messengers' positions by checking battlefield info > enemy forces. their names are located at the very bottom so u have to scroll all the way down. love your videos btw, they helped me alot :)

Best cutscene in the game for sure. Yu Jin is awesome. The camp convos are great if you listen to them too. All the peons are scared to death of Yu Jin.
yu jin takes the cake for number 1 as my favorite wei character. however yu jin like chen gong are broken ass characters ready and willing of massive death, carnage, and destruction. also another way to complete that star is to get them all inside the castle before the messengers get to the WU main camp. as long as you lure them in they will not carry out the flood attack

This is why the PC version makes me cry everytime. They ported the 360 version instead of the ps4 version. the view distance on PS4 is ridiculous and the visuals look quite a bit better, plus all the content exclusive to ps!
SgtR3ynolds I know right? They did the same for 8 Empires. ported last gen. Kinda dumb. Granted, they aren't bad ports at all, save the missing elements of online multiplayer and such. Honestly, though, I don't think Koei expected Dynasty warriors to do as well as they thought it would on PC, thanks to Steam. In fact, the reason why Koei never ported to PC much is because they didnt exactly have experienced teams with porting, and because they were afraid of PC piracy(Even though that console has pirates too. In fact, Dynasty warriors games on PS2 got pirated the hell out of them.) Hopefully Koei gets the hint that PC users prefer not only great performance, but good visuals.
Merland5 I don't know if there's a large PC fanbase in Japan for them to get the hint, unfortunately. But, we never know. I guess we'll have to wait for Dynasty Warriors 9 or maybe Samurai Warriors 4-II.
Andrew McCarthy really i must of missed that, i never got to play 6 to much i fif get to 4 5 87 and 8 i knwo hes had his buckler shelid and in the psp games hes got it there too in dynasty warriors strikeforce 1 and 2 there to but thats i know lol
Simon Damon Actually in Dynasty warriors 6 and Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce he had a Pole Arm which is a type of Pike. And in Dynasty Warriors 7 his starting weapon was a flail like Gan Ning has in Dynasty Warriors 8. He gets his Spiked Shield back in Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires. Cao Ren has had his Spiked Shield in 4,5,7 Empires and Dynasty Warriors 8. Warriors Orochi 3 and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate he has the Flail like he did in Dynasty Warriors 7. And again Dynasty Warriors 6 and Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce he has Polearms a type of pike.
