When I first visited the US, my host family were mexicans and they cooked me so much food lmao, I legit gained like 15 pounds, their food was spicy at times but it was really good and they were very loving and fun, much love to my mexican peeps from the Philippines
R.Rodriguez0309 I'm familiar with legit Mexican tacos, but I also know dishes vary by region and family recipe. So my question is - is there any real version of a taco that has ground beef?
actually the taco that has ground beef or the ones they sell taco bell? are considered texmex meaning is the amarican version of a mexican taco..!! which mexicans don't even consider tacos to begin with LOL!!! (i mean the ones at Taco bell)
R.Rodriguez0309 Yeah I know TB's aren't real. I've had variations at restaurants claiming to be authentic that used ground beef, so I was curious. The place around me has soft corn tortilla, cilantro, carne asada, onions and radishes with a slice of lime. That's the real deal as I know it.
hmpz36911 Some mexicans make ground beef tacos at home but youll never find them being sold on the street because we consider it like a lazy whatever dish, its alright and its easy to make but its not worth paying for. Its ground beef in a tortilla(real tortilla not taco bell tostada shit), fry them so the tortilla hardens and closes so the meat stays inside. We usually make refried bean tacos and cheese tacos along with them and then add lettuce, tomato, onion, sour cream and salsa.
it's time to hajima just like how everyone thinks pizza hut is real italian pizza, chinese food is actually americanized chinese food, sushi isn't actually near real sushi, etc
taco bell is great except for their nasty powdered mixed sour cream taste like shit, I have to sneak in a baggie with fresh sour cream and bite the tip and squeeze it on my tacos , yo quaro taco bell
As a Korean who love Mexican food, I am quite sure most of Mexicans watching this would feel pretty much offended or suspicious about the foods presented here. Come on!!!Be realistic~it doesn't even look like REAL/authentic Mexican food at all. It looks more like tex-mex to me^^
trust I'm born n raised In Texas for 22 years now livein California for 3 n no ur wrong that's not tex-mex food the tacos n tortillas in South tx is way better then aqui ca.
I'm mexican american and I wasn't offended. I'm not expecting a 100% authentication with foreigners making food to try. Just a generalization, and overall it was good representation of tacos for first time.
oh well call it what you want its fire , taco bell is one of my favorite places to eat, its fast food cut it some slack, and just avoid the powdered sour cream its nasty.
Hate it when all these “ (*insert people*) trying Mexican food for the first time” never portray it accurately. To clarify: #1 NO American restaurant is authentic Mexican food. This includes Taco Bell, Baja Fresh, Alfredo’s, etc #2 tacos is not the only Mexican food. #3 Serving alternative meat in tacos doesn’t count as another type of food...it’s still a taco #4 the food demonstrated here is hardly “Mexican”. Seems more Mexican-American influenced. An example of that is a chorizo quesadilla. I have never seen that down in Mexico. E V E R #5 foods that are considered an authentic staple outside of just tacos: chilaquiles, carne asasa, enchiladas, molcajetes, tamales, posole, mole, tortas, ceviche, Chile’s rellenos ...etc. Would have been nice to see other alternatives other than the ones mentioned above!
@TheShinobiCode I guessed as much but it is a weird way to put it. Obviously if it's a chain with an American spin it's not authentic, but you have to judge case-by-case not say "no american restaurant" - what qualifies it as American? Either way, this video has little relevance to America and it was just the poster's intention to take a jab at the country anyway. Taco Bell was made for Americans, and not all American's will like real Mexican food, just like these Koreans might not either.
Thank you Americans always says the same thing they say "I know what a Mexican food looks like" and they don't even know what it actually looks like, I know for fact what actual Mexican Food look likes because I'm obviously a Mexican and I hate it when Americans say Taco Bell is Mexican food and first of all who uses hard shell. ☹🙁
I am Mexican, live in Mexico City... the mayor differences between both are: Lime is the green one, lemon is the yellow one, lemon taste a bit sweeter than lime. Both easily found in mexico at any super market. We Mexicans eat both depending on the dish, but in general it's more lime than lemon. For example... If you order a lemonade in Mexico they would bring you a "Lemonade" made with limes. Aaaand Taco bell is 100% from USA... Chipotle´s restaurant, its a much better example of what could be Mexican food... from northern Mexico that is, and its actually very good and a much better example if you want Mexican food outside of Mexico.
I've had lots of mexican coworkers who made lots of tacos; we have had lots of authentic mexican restaurants in my area; I've never seen tacos like those.
But I love flour tortillas:( I eat them with mashed beans and cheese. I used to eat more flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas as a kid because they tasted better
tacos are mexican food, taco bell just removed some of the grease you find in authentic mexican food, and taco bell does serve mexican food using mexican spices just its fast food and you shouldn't be offended , taco bell makes a lot of sauces so you can temper your taco to the spiciness you prefer, I don't know why you are offended , If I use an authentic taco recipe and made tacos you would still say they were not authentic because I did not get everything from mexico, but taco bell gives us a healthier cheaper version because its a fast food restaurant and we love it here.
Jacob Garcia Yes you are right there are some taquitos you make fried. I make them with patato or meat or beans or if chicken they are called flautas. 👍

i never seen such sad looking Mexican tacos before lol they should of gave them some from a texas or Californian cook witch happen to be the best in this damn counrty🌮🍻
But then it would be American tacos not Mexican tacos. I don’t know if you’ve ever had a taco in Mexico but they are usually plain with just the condiments from cooking the meat and you add the extra content on top. But a general taco just has the tortilla, meat, cilantro, onion and lime.
Diana Cordero I dont know about California, but the tacos in Chicago are basically the same as in Mexico. In Zacatecas, it's the tortilla and meat and then cilantro and cebolla with Chile and lime. Usually served with a Coke ( the good kind with real cane sugar) :))))
Rickard Gustavsson , when he says "greasy" he means "heavy or fulfilling." There's no English word to describe it. When the Korean word is translated by computer, it says "greasy." Even though he isn't talking about grease.
I'm mexican and was very funny to see you guys trying those meals hahaha You did it well! You should taste more food, we have more than tacos in our country. I really enjoyed the video! ^^
Mexican, living in Mexico. It might be difficult to find in Korea the ingredients to make real mexican food since many of them are from our country. But you can try some more common stuff like: "Huevos a la mexicana" scrambled eggs with chopped onion, tomatoes and jalapeño; always with some corn tortillas and green or red sauce. "Huevos divorciados" two sunny side-up eggs, one with red sauce and the other with green sauce acompanied by "frijoles refritos" smashed black beans, on the side; don't forget corn tortillas.
Jessica Strom I have found that only Mexicans appreciate mole. Aside from 1 person I knew from Kenya, she loved traditional mole! Other than that, never met a non-Mexican that liked it so I don't offer. Chamoy....heck even I don't like that!
Flying Face Really?! ☺ I have never met anyone that did and its kinda sad because its my favorite Mexican dish & mother always made it for me for my birthday because I love it so 😍😛! I'm glad to know you do!
Real Mexican food will be something like albondigas, chiles rellenos, Birria, menudo, pozole, tortas , mole, chilaquiles, enfrijoladas, salsa de molcajete, cocteles mariscos , ceviche ,una mojarra frita, frijoles de la hoya que es lo que mas come uno con unos rabanitos y un guacamole y salsa de molcajete con una panela o queso fresco o cotija , pipian con pollo , carnitas , caldo de res, frijoles puercos, and the list can go on and on but I get it tacos are also Mexican but that’s nothing compared to what real authentic Mexican food is I’m Mexican and these are the foods that I eat and cook all the time real authentic Mexican food and I also eat tacos but tacos Are like fast food for Mexicans
I grew up eating a lot of American-Mexican food, so it was interesting to watch this vaguely knowing what the food tastes like. They might of liked it better with pico de gallo, but it might of been too spicy. I wonder how they would like Horchata or biscochitos
Yeah, I think for mexican american pico de gallo it's very different of what we have in Mexico. Here, pico de gallo is chopped onions, tomatoes, jalapeño (or another kind of chiles, depending on the region) and coliander with lime and salt. It's not spicy.
If I had a dollar for every time people call Taco Bell REAL Mexican food I’d be rich af 😂👏 Mexican food varies and contain so many unique flavors. From dishes such as: mole, sopes, quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas, chilaquiles, ceviche, adobo, pozole, tamales, tortas, burritos, menudo, salsa con chuletas de puerco, etc. I love my culture 😍💜
Well no. I'd say people in foreign far foreign countries from Mexico who have no exposure to Mexican cuisine. I don't know anyone American who think Taco Bell is actually Mexican food.
i think literally anyone even semi american or vaguely experienced in american or mexican culture knows that taco bell is literally the worst "mexican" food to buy. It's even more expensive than street tacos like wtf.
As an American who recently discovered Korean cuisine (thanks to a Korean co-worker) [also my dad was assigned to Kunsan for a year, but apparently didn't dig it] who lives in Texas I love this video. The Taco Bell references are adorable since that is what most people outside of the U.S. think is "Mexican" food, but it's really more Tex-Mex or Cali-Mex since that is where Glen Bell was from and really that in name only. That said, a taco with bulgogi, kimchi and some gochujang paired with a nice beef taco, fish taco with cole slaw, and taco all pastor would be the perfect meal.

Mad respect in this video. When dude asked for beer with his tacos. First thing popped in my mind was family. And at the end that will to try different versions of tacos man just awesome.
alaverge1 I agree. My nana had to learn that she doesn’t need to add more oil to the food she cooks. I guess it’s just something they’ve learned from their parents and just kept doing it.
Taco bell is not Mexican food its American food plus we add more when it come to Mexican food and try the enchiladas as a Mexican its my favorite but sadly I can't eat it everyday you'll know why if you give it a shot
Thats not how it works okay it wasn't made by mexicans it was made by an american company their for it's american all it was Americanized that poor excuse of a taco is not a real taco and just because it was made by a mexican it doesn't count as one it was an american idea not a mexico idea plus most mexican dislike taco bell because the so called taco doesn't have very much on it usually it because of the taco shell
im jus saying these tacos look pretty authentic, all that unnecessary grease is nauseating. and if mexicans didn't like american fake news tacos they wouldn't risk killing their kids to break into our fine non greasy fake news taco states lol
Street tacos 🌮 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico 🇲🇽 was the bomb! Fresh and homemade tortillas and salsa. Can’t wait to go back and eat those tacos. Makes tacos you had anywhere else besides in Mexico to shame!
02:22 Pig's tongue? no. It's incorrect, there are ifferent parts of a cow's body. I'm actually a Mexican, and I have "never" tried a taco of a pork's tongue. Actually, I wonder if it taste good since I'm from Mexico. 😕😕

"Huevos divorciados" two sunny side-up eggs, one with red sauce and the other with green sauce acompanied by "frijoles refritos" smashed black beans, on the side; don't forget corn tortillas.
Ana Martínez if you're Mexican then I'm a blue eyed devil.

I kept dying every time that guy said Taco Bell...
Tacos de barbacoa, tinga, pastor, carne asada, tripas, buche, suadero, chicharron on the next vid!
They should have had Molé and chamoy
Jessica Strom I have found that only Mexicans appreciate mole. Aside from 1 person I knew from Kenya, she loved traditional mole! Other than that, never met a non-Mexican that liked it so I don't offer. Chamoy....heck even I don't like that!
Jessica Strom I love molè😍
Jessica Strom ohhh damnnn yah
Don't forget salsa verde, salsa roja, and guacamole.
Flying Face Really?! ☺ I have never met anyone that did and its kinda sad because its my favorite Mexican dish & mother always made it for me for my birthday because I love it so 😍😛! I'm glad to know you do!
The girl with the short brown hair is so cuteeee😆😆
Real Mexican food will be something like albondigas, chiles rellenos, Birria, menudo, pozole, tortas , mole, chilaquiles, enfrijoladas, salsa de molcajete, cocteles mariscos , ceviche ,una mojarra frita, frijoles de la hoya que es lo que mas come uno con unos rabanitos y un guacamole y salsa de molcajete con una panela o queso fresco o cotija , pipian con pollo , carnitas , caldo de res, frijoles puercos, and the list can go on and on but I get it tacos are also Mexican but that’s nothing compared to what real authentic Mexican food is
I’m Mexican and these are the foods that I eat and cook all the time real authentic Mexican food and I also eat tacos but tacos Are like fast food for Mexicans
Preach
Y los de pastor? Y carne asada? !! D:
It's funny how the guy with glasses keeps comparing the traditional tacos to Taco Bell. Oh geez!!
Brad Choe he probably loved his trip to taco bell
Jacob Garcia I think so...lol
We would be clueless about they're real food, too.
I grew up eating a lot of American-Mexican food, so it was interesting to watch this vaguely knowing what the food tastes like. They might of liked it better with pico de gallo, but it might of been too spicy. I wonder how they would like Horchata or biscochitos
Mariel Bell hmm.. Pico de gallo is not spicy... probably a salsa verde or salsa roja would have been better haha
It's spicy for me, but maybe I'm just a wimp lol
Salsa roja would of been nice though.
Yeah, I think for mexican american pico de gallo it's very different of what we have in Mexico. Here, pico de gallo is chopped onions, tomatoes, jalapeño (or another kind of chiles, depending on the region) and coliander with lime and salt. It's not spicy.
Asian people love spicy food.
Hola! Some people like to use corn tortillas for tacos instead of flour tortillas. Great video by the way!

The 1st taco is NOT carnitas. Its steamed tongue and tripe. Chorizo typically is made with egg or in beans or in cheese.

Any taco ever:
A non Mexican: "tAcO bELL?"
Well no. I'd say people in foreign far foreign countries from Mexico who have no exposure to Mexican cuisine. I don't know anyone American who think Taco Bell is actually Mexican food.
Im offended you think i go there to get mexican food, i go down the street to my hometown and get hibiscus tea fish tacos and burritos
i think literally anyone even semi american or vaguely experienced in american or mexican culture knows that taco bell is literally the worst "mexican" food to buy. It's even more expensive than street tacos like wtf.
You have to understand thats probably all they have
I think some of you forget they can't get all the ingredients to actual Mexican food considering they live on the other side of the hemisphere
No race can resist the delicious taco
Tacos are too good for this world, us humans do not deserve them but we eat them anyways.
I mean it is one of the most popular food in the entire world afterall.
Tacos are actually disgusting
Pinkfantasy Hair noooooo!! You can’t say that that’s illegal. The taco police are gonna come get you!! You better hide!!
I don't like tacos, and if you find it offensive, it's not. Some people just don't enjoy eating tacos.

I was dying when they thought the tacos weren’t real Tacos, and thought the ones from Taco Bell were 🤦🏻♀️😂. I’m not Mexican but I’m Honduran 🇭🇳💗

Hola Hermosaa
wait, no salsa or sour cream or guacomole???
Avocados are crazy expensive in Korea.
Salsa yes, sour cream no, guacamole on some
Sour cream really isn't as popular in Mexico as crema Mexicana is. I actually prefer crema salvadoreña much more.
real tacos don't have sour cream or guacamole. so
Sour cream on Tacos?
like who cooked that food because I have never had greasy tacos in America
Mari ZenSoul Go to a real Mexican restaurant and honestly what stereotypical American food isn’t greasy
Mari ZenSoul Oh and don’t say you’ve gotten Taco Bell that’s only like half Mexican if it can be considered Mexican at all
.... Some areas of Mexico do make them greasy
alaverge1 I agree. My nana had to learn that she doesn’t need to add more oil to the food she cooks. I guess it’s just something they’ve learned from their parents and just kept doing it.
My new addiction watching these vids... great vids btw very entertaining and interesting to watch at the same time!
He said Taco Bell😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
oh well you said cherry and you look like a dude

Oh you guys, you still have to try a lot of stuff. Come to Mexico, we love you.
I love these videos! The reactions are simply too good!
Taco bell is not Mexican food its American food plus we add more when it come to Mexican food and try the enchiladas as a Mexican its my favorite but sadly I can't eat it everyday you'll know why if you give it a shot
So if a mexican working at taco bell serves me a taco its not mexican its american , then does that make the mexican not a real mexican?
FYI that's not how an american spells gaming lol
why r u saying fake news taco's there just fake taco plus i said most not all
It's cool that they were open minded about new flavors. ☺️
Did they eat the first taco with both tortillas on or did they only have 1 tortilla?

Street tacos 🌮 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico 🇲🇽 was the bomb! Fresh and homemade tortillas and salsa. Can’t wait to go back and eat those tacos. Makes tacos you had anywhere else besides in Mexico to shame!
I'm Mexican so I was super giddy seeing them try our food!

A mi me gusta mucho el chorizo. Bro and the chorizo quesadillas are boom
Taco Bell is not Mexican food Jesus
maybe their tortillas are different.
Yair Ayala probably
02:22 Pig's tongue? no. It's incorrect, there are ifferent parts of a cow's body. I'm actually a Mexican, and I have "never" tried a taco of a pork's tongue. Actually, I wonder if it taste good
since I'm from Mexico. 😕😕
I meant "different" please excuse my spelling... ;-;
It could have been a beef tongue taco those are common.
What was the sauce for roasted fire salsa or fresh salsa?&why is it so sour?
I once met an East German woman shortly after the wall came down, she had taken a trip to America after that and the two things she mentioned were the tall buildings and the Mexican food!
What I want to know is who is making this food?? Where did you get the recipes not saying Korean cant cook Mexican food . Cause km latina and I am a chef at a Korean restuarant. But just curious where the recipes came from
I love Mexican food, I'm not Mexican but I love it. I live in Texas so why wouldn't I? 💚
