It's like chess except instead of pawns, rooks, bishops, queens and knights you got electrics, hellsweeps, wavuwavu, twin pistons, and sidestep left :D
No projectiles, no guard damage, no supers, no KYSG combos for 80%. Just neutral, footsies, and punishment. I'd love to have some Tekken back in Tekken games.
@ Youd have to ask the koreans who who ruled the scene back in 2000 like jang igksu and kbm cause it was invented in Korea. maybe the answer is out there in some forum like tekken zaibatsu but if i would have to guess it was invented in the late years of T3 time span like 1999 .
@ would be awesome. i actually asked markman on his stream like two months ago where is jang iksu today and he actually tried to make an interview with him and unfortunately he declined but he did say he will try to ask him again and if they do make it i hope well get the answer.
I still wonder why they always pick kazuya instead of Devil. i mean kazuya had no slide and dive after tagging. he doesn't have the fast twin pistols too
Yes, all good points and reasons why more and more people are playing Devil over Kazuya these days...Not to mention Devil having higher health and better range. Kazuya does have a few interesting strengths over Devil, especially at high levels: (1) Faster WGF input with f, n, df+2. This often allows him the edge in terms of frames and zoning against other Mishimas. Kaz's shorter WGF input also allows a better combo off justframe hellsweeps (Max range JFHS, WGF, df+44. One of the Peruvian players, Sergie or Camaney pulled this off in their showdown against Koreas's Strawberry/Nouser). (2) Easy while-standing punisher with twin pistons. (3) Gives Jin a beefed up version of 1+3 throw & grants a free Steel Pedal/b+4. (4) b+1,1,1,2 extended version of flash punch combo. (5) DF+2 tracks opposite way as WGF and gives PWGF launch on Counter-hit. Devil has df+2 for tracking SSL, but IMO this move is more shenanigan-based and less truly abusive than Kaz's gut punch. Thanks for the comment.✊
I’m so glad these old videos still exist
Just got to find those old DVDs and rip em :/ I still have MVC2 and 3rd Strike DVD from 2004 or whatever year the blue cover was
Still true in 2023!
he won EVO 2005

Thanks for the comment. Feel free to check out my channel for more great Tag1 vids.
The fact that Heihachi theme is playing makes this battle more intense.
imagine waiting for this to download for an entire night
I Do not Want To Download In Mobile
Good old days. It was even worse with KYSG's and Mashter & Boskon's 30-minute-long videos...

As a Jin main I get really happy seeing Jin use Mishima style karate
Man tekken 3 jin is literally today’s devil jin.
Just without lasers, he literally has all of tekken 3 or tag1 moves
This was in my recommended section. I guess it was because of recent events.
Nelo Angelo same
I just got this shit recommended again
These videos are gem who ever kept these can be a gatekeeper of heaven
Thank you. Please feel free to like and subscribe. I have other great TTT1 matches on my channel. Peace.
Pure amazing skills from Ryan Hart and Qudans. I learn their strategy and apply it.
Worthy of rewatching many times.

That's why I still play this game.
Looks better than t8
That clutch hellsweep block at 3:24
Only ft2 rounds?
At that time there were frequent message board complaints from EVO attendees that Tekken Tag sets were too defensive and ran much too long.
wait which character is which? who won?
Ryan Hart is player 1, Qudans is player 2
@@Mandarin2099alright thank you for the reply 🙏
Who is who?
Ryan Hart 1p, Qudans 2p
I feel that RH should have won this one, it's like he gives the keys to be beat by entering into his opponent's play.
Til now I still don't know how to block when tagging. Can someone pls tell me how? 😂
Roll Up to Up-Back (u,ub) while tagging in. You can experiment with the timing in practice mode.
Is he the same "Ryan Hart" that is a hollywood actor and a poker player?
Probably not the same guy Lala. If you youtube
search "Ryan Hart Tekken Interview" you should be able to find him.
Lol that's Kevin Hart 😂🤣
They were korean backdashing back in 2005? cool
even earlier than that i guess you can go back to the time of release for tag 1 and see koreans do that
@@galanoth619 when did it first start becoming a thing
