This concludes the three part series that captures
my journey to Washington DC to represent the
company I work for Peoria Charter Coach in our
struggle to survive the total shut down of the
travel industry. The people I met and friends I
made on this trip has really made me realize
how close knit the motor coach industry is.
Our livelyhoods depends on people traveling and
many of us will not be here when people are
ready to travel again if we do not receive any
help from the government like the Airline
    industry received.
During this trip i tried my best to capture the
fun times we all experienced but at the same
time I wanted to make sure that you the viewers
understood that in the back of all of our minds,
we are worried about what we will do if we
    loose our livelihood.
    Thank you to:
The Winkler Family for giving me
this opportunity to be apart of Motor coach
    History.
Dennis Utley for leading the convoy
through the entire journey and giving us such a
    fantastic trip through Washington DC.
Tracie Utley for all the extra footage you
recorded for me to use on these three
    vlogs
Roman Kuryluk for helping us figure out and
keep the WIFI working on the coach as well as
    the b-roll footage you recorded
    Iryna Kuryluk for
helping us with our kids during the trip, I hope
you enjoyed the views for your first time cross
    country in the US
    Derek from Signature
Transportation group. I'm glad to be able to call
    you a friend
    Signature management team
for working with us to make this trip happen
    Timi
Jack and Kenny from Timi's Tours for joining us
on this journey state, Its an honor to call you
    guys friends.
Cindy Winkler for helping shoot the cheering
    footage in Peoria
    Ciaran Maloney our Peoria IT
guy for helping with the footage recovery
Keith Hayward It was awesome to meet you!
William K Bolan, It was awesome to meet you!
My Lovely Wife Lidiya Wang for coming along
and taking care of the kids and all the logistics.
My two daughters Leah and Vera for being so
    good on this trip.
Thank you to all the Peoria Charter Staff
members and Signature Staff members for doing
the Cheering Shot for my Vlog.
Thank you to ABA and UMA for organizing and
taking on the feat of hosting this event.

As a neighbor to you up here in Rockford, IL and whom has driven motorcoaches, I can fully understand the impact that this crisis is making on the industry. I am not a full time coach driver but my "normal" work related to motorcoaches for this summer dried up as well. For the past 5 summers (2015-2019) I have spent two months straight out on the road driving a coach for Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps to add to about 10,000 miles from 2009 and 2010. The coronavirus crisis caused the cancellation of the 2020 Drum Corps International season much like that of numerous other spectator sports. The DCI tour cancellation negated the possibility of applying with a different coach company that the corps had contracted with for the year of 2020. I am coming to terms that I will not experience my normal "summer working vacation" but yet the road still calls to me...
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Sideling Hill Cut on I-68 in this video, a place that I usually see at night while traveling East from Frostburg, MD as well as some of the other scenery of the Allegheny Mountains that you featured. I also enjoyed this series because I was able to see a few companies that I am familiar with as I have seen them along my travels (Arrow Stage Lines, Precious Gem, Village, among a few others as well as PCC).
Mr. Wang, hang in there brother. I sincerely hope that the industry can recover faster than some of the projections I have seen.

Also to note, a person whom I know with Arrow Stage Lines participated in the rally as well. Previously, he had worked as dispatcher for the company that I had driven for these past five summers, but went to Arrow Stage Lines in 2015 or 2016. Joe Turner was interviewed by a Kansas City News station prior to leaving for DC. That video is here: ruclips.net/video/E6dIOVmyPgU/видео.html

Thank you Rebeltag. Really appreciate your comment. I'm glad my content is able to bring back some memories. Yes our Industry has really suffered a lot through this time. I hope you and your loved ones are safe. You hang in there as well. Hopefully one day we will meet on the road some where! Absolutely beautiful scenery going through the Appalachians!

My last 2 jobs were as a ticket agent and union rep. for Adirondack Trailways and the last job was as a tour guide for Gray Line Double Decker Buses in NYC as well. I didn't like the way our government treats public transportation in this country! As far as I'm concerned, all forms of public transportation is essential! I'm looking forward to more videos from you! Well, that's all for now. TTFN!

The ghing about being in D.C. is all the short vuildings for a metropolis. By law no building can be taller than the Washington Monument. Hence nothing more than 5-6 stories (whatever it is) buildings. The side of the White House that faces the mall (to the south) has a rounded entrance. The northward facing entrance (towards St John's) is rectangular.
Alright... question.... what is DEF fluid? I saw it on a door next to the fuel filler doo. And you had to stop to fill up DEF.
Very good ending credits. Even though there was a misspelling. Doh! Yes there was a misspelling. Youi'll have to guess where.
This video, even with the misspeling at the end, still made my Top 3 list of cross-country motorcoaching list.

    • @JWangvlogs

Thanks Tyler. Means a lot coming from you.

    • @JWangvlogs

DEF fluid is diesel exhaust fluid. The fluid is required in diesel engine vehicles that came out after 2008. DEF is supposed to neutralize the byproduct of diesel exhaust that hurts the environment. Though these vehicles can run without DEF, the computers on board causes them to shut down once DEF runs out. Most diesel engine vehicles can last 4 tanks of diesel with one tank of DEF. This however veries depending on the vehicle. Some truck operators illegally hack into the computers of their trucks so that it ignores the empty DEF tank. This however if discovered by authorities can cause a fine to the operator. The primary ingredient of DEF fluid is pig urine.
