The “screaming” and heightened volume is just for emphasis for certain lyrics that are a little less chill so idk how anyone interprets it as singing

Never really twisted the cover, Bon Iver done a live version and it was the same as that. Was on later with Jools Holland, great cover nonetheless just no twist.
