l was at 7 - 8 shows....they were infectious....one of greatest drummer- guitarist-poet...[ lure was traditional classic Gibson- Marshal sound ].....There were other combos Johnny got together that were lethal [ w/:Senders ]....So on NY City. then....you could be part of a small audience discovering legendary performances....
I never thought it'd be the case, but this version of "You Gotta Lose" is superior to the Richard Hell (Voidoids) "Blank Generation" 7-inch EP verison. Those hand-claps really make it happen and Heartbreakers' swing makes its Stones affectations that much more prominent. So good.
this isnt the original sound track. first song was blank generation then i wanna be loved both from yonkers demo. footage is from "the blank genetation" film. even though music is out of sink purposly in the film, those songs really suit the footage. i dunno why anyone would take the time and effort to put different music to it. kinda ruins the whole thing.
It is Elisabeth "Lizzy" Mercier Descloux (16 December 1956 - 20 April 2004) - a French musician, singer-songwriter, composer, actress, writer and painter.
R.I.P Walter, ONE OF THE BEST..
Omg he was so good looking
The Thunders- Hell Heartbreakers lasted a little longer than this video.
Thunders-Lure Heartbreakers you mean
Yeah a quintessential case of too much too soon man…
@@vonclohk507 he is, I don't know how legit but check out the YONKERS DEMOS

Im jealous. There was a time in my life I woulda cut off an arm to be at those shows and a part of that music community.
this is taken from the documentary titled
"the blank generation"
The heartbreakers were actually better without Hell he was a talented guy but having thunders and lure up front with Billy rath in back was best.
I agree 100% mate
may the all

It was a trade off. Billy was obviously a far superior bass player, but he didn’t have the style, charisma and song writing talents Hell had.
You didn't even mention Jerry Nolan
@@djikopgot I gotta admit Hell sings this the best he sounds like sweet and sinister at the same time dude had style, Malcolm is happy too

exactly.
Priceless.
Walter Lure is also in the group
Extremely important and underrated.
@@petercrowley41 Agreed . RIP mr Lure
Hell Thunders Nolan -- First 1970s NYC punk era 'super-group'
Plus Walter Lure
Hell didn't fit in
And Walter lure played on a few Ramones albums and drummer from Blondie was Elvis ramone
In the initial image there are: Richard Hell (Voidoids, Hertbreakers and Television..) and Lizzy Mercier Descloux!
I belong to the generation.
Say Hey Hey.... is Dee Dee home?
Dee Dee was brilliant.
Dee Dee 4ever
may all of em

What club?
Looks like more than one venue: max's kansas city and Mothers, perhaps?
Thank gawd they had enough sense to get rid of Richard Hell. Those artsy Patti Smyth "poet" types were insufferable.
Who is the cute chick?
Wayne lost it when he became Jayne......puke city .
