Sad great talent a true rocker but he live the way he wanted day by day his way. He is missed but was not recognized by the Rock and Roll hall of fame. But you know true Rock and Roll will live on .. people who love his music and know his musical career are the fortunate ones🎸🎤
Johnny was the greatest and an absolute inspiration, but he had a long-term serious addiction and everything he did was dictated by that factor: every city he went to when touring he had to be accompanied to an unsavoury part of town in order to score heroin; every three months he had to visit his private doctor in London for his supply of methadone and valium. He got serious health issues and he could never take a break to address it because he had to tour constantly in order to survive; he was homeless for most of his life, always at the mercy of friends and admirers to have a place to crash. That doesn't seem to me like someone who lived the way he wanted.....
When I was a young kid I just thought Johnny was a drugged out freak But what the fuck did I know at age 12 I've become a real fan of Johnny over the years. He really was a throwback rocker and he had talent
I love Patty's cover, and I thought it couldn't be possible to hear it in a better way, but this was a lovely surprise. Johnny and his band make it possible, very good performance
Funny how even the guitar player doesn't know where the beat is. He and the harp playing both accenting 1 and 3. Was impressed with the cross harp skills though
