Mate thanks for the gpx route of this one. Tried following along to it today, man its a maze in there but some real fun trails.
2 questions, Are you on an e bike ?
And whats the best app to use to navigate whilst riding?
Cheers for the video and the route

Nah not on an e-bike. Would recommend Trailforks as a fairly reliable app for the gorge. I know a couple of sections have been slightly updated or rerouted since I made this, particularly the first few sections in this video but all pretty easy to follow along for that first part of this loop.

@@ryanstarrett completed the loop again today, this time without needing to check my phone much to know where I was. Very fun! What a place! Thank you sir :)

I moved away from melb 4 years ago and I used to ride the gorge a lot, I’ve never seen that many people there, it’s crazy busy!

You'll need to swing back through there next time your down, lots of new stuff. Lots of older stuff that's been given a revamp also

@@ryanstarrett yeah it looks like a lot of works been done on the trails. It’s funny, I live in Christchurch, we have a bike park, but I really miss riding at the gorge. I will return, oh yes, I will return.

HI, where to you park for this route please? Headng there tomorrow AM... thanks

      Jolly Terrace, South Morang
It is on the western side of the gorge near the main traffic lights and the Commercial Hotel in South Morang. If driving from south of the gorge then Kariboo Grove or Queens Garden is a great place to start. The tank on Goldsworthy Lane is a great place to start if coming from Yan Yean side. You can join and follow this route from any of these places. Check out the Strava routes I’ve posted, they all vary depending on the day

Very controversial subject 😁 One of the best things about the Gorge is that there are so many loops to choose from
