So, in reference to you having never seen a BSOD avatar, I can confirm they exist. Two people I met in one world have an avatar that does it. The only use it on people being racist or crashing others for no reason though. But let me tell you this. It's Fucking Scary I wanted to see how the avatar worked so I let them use it on me. It fucked my vision up by like... splitting it in half and move different parts independently of each other. It also played a REALLY damaging high pitch noise like glass breaking times 100. Then, the animation ended. I was fine. I moved around and even talked with them. Then, I went back in time. I heard the same conversation we JUST had playing through my headphones. I couldn't look around with my VR. I took it off and saw both of my monitors were black. Then they flashed back on and I closed the game before I blue screened. Actually one of the few things that has scared me in a long time. Not because it was horror-esque, but because I didn't know what was happening. My video drivers crashed and that's all I could make out of it. My friends then had a "fight" with the avatar to see who would last longer. One of them blue screened from it. So, yes, they do exist, even today. But it's REALLY rare to actually see one that bad it seems like. Most that I've been running into are event crashers or laggers that just makes your computer unable to continue running the game.
I would not want to tower over people in a social game. Maybe in a game like skyrim but even then, things will get boring eventually. In social games, like VR chat, I like earning the respect of people and getting to call them friends. The build up of trust is so worth it, forcing it from other people is unsatisfactory and leads to hatred.

Particles, shaders with unlimited tessellation settings, broken shaders, meshes, crash clients, logout clients, crash bots, photon bots, etc. I started playing VRChat back in December 2017 and I've experienced every single kind of crash so far. I had a few of those simple crashes that just crash and close VRChat, I surprisingly had only one BSOD, GPU driver failures with black screens which were most common to me, RAM crashes that froze my system and of course the logouts. They can all be avoided now with the safety settings and client-side crashes are mostly fixed. Except for the photon bots part which requires a mod to install to avoid getting crashed by them. Instead of fixing this issue as soon as possible, VRChat mostly sits on their lazy butts and ignores this issue. It's a fact that they are only after money. So, don't expect any major changes. You can also see that the ERP community has grown by quite a lot and it's out of control. They don't do anything against it and some devs do ERP inside their own game as well. As far as I heard about 3 years ago, Laughing Coffin did not really exist and was more like a meme. I have no idea if it's true or not. But I can tell some people did make avatars in the Laughing Coffin style with annoying and edgy animations and some crash features on it. But those people weren't official members or so.
Great video! I will tell you something I found out after I made my video though. LC originated on VRC, for sure, but when it was first around, it was not "Gang toxic". At some point, the entire group was disbanded, but others took up the name. Unfortunately, the new LC would go on to cause problems for everyone. I'm sure there's more to the story, but that's all I got lol.
As a vet player and a programmer here's the facts. * The BSoD claims are wild, in all my years I've never been blue screened, and I've been crashed upwards to 1000 times. It's possible that is someone had a underperforming machine and maybe their was an exploit within the unity engine at the time that a blue screen could occure, but for the most case it didn't happen. Now I have seen people manually reboot their machines because a exploit in unity caused their machine to hang(which it would respond eventually), but it never caused a BSoD. * Frying the CPU doesn't exist, you can't actually "fry a cpu" using any software program without workarounds, because any machine good enough to play VRC would have catastrophic temperature shutdown and automatically power the machine off. * The claims of the ever ramping GPU are also not real, it's an exaggeration. Yes you GPU would get hot, and spin faster, but it's not exponential. * KOS lists are real and where around for a few years. * Most glowboy avatars are left over from LC, Trash, Off Gang and Prime8 avatars. If you want to know more I can give you a massive amount of info.
you can get bluescreened still, those kind if avatars are just rare to come across, from what ive seen people just copy paste some shitty crashing prefabs and dont bother making their own stuff. ive been making crashers for about 2 years now and only used my own stuff and actually managed to bluescreen myself aswell, so i know thats possible. and bluescreened my friend by accident aswell, its easier to bluescreen someone if they are on vr
I swear there was a guild in AQW called around 2017-2021 that i saw, but I'm not sure if they were part of the same group? However, around those times, i and many others experienced a lot of hacking like our player characters would move around on a map without us clicking on the screen or an alt account would follow certain targeted player around on the map even /goto player when the players teleport settings are turned off. I know some people have experienced targeted DDoS attacks where we'd be kicked off the game server multiple times. Players who'd hack and cheat in PvP and hackers who develop botting clients for the game. And hackers who join other guilds and their discords who maliciously send a link to the players and people who unknowingly press the link, which would link to a login page to facebook or some social media account and get their private info, data stolen and stolen AQW account. I know this because i was one of the many victims from my own guild who had their info and account stolen by Black Hat hackers. Also, to add on was also a PvP guild from what I heard.

i remember a few year back running into people from the laughing coffin group. a guy called EXE had a world full of crashers with crazy load ins and laughing coffin designs and almost all of them world change your world and flip your screen or strait crash you, was about a month later the world went private and the avatars removed from what i remember. they for sure were a group at some point.

guys ive played the game for 2 days and im a crasher i think i might have found the wrong group of people in a public lobby because they started giving me cool skins with lots of static and they were my only cool skins and this guy sounds like he's played for a while and dosent know about them. btw i only know how to crash force clone and disable clone i just learned to disable avatars and only play on MC Donalds. and mirrors hurt. they crash you instead of others.
My boyfriend was in Laughing Coffin and still has all his crasher avatars but he made them private so they can't be copied and used anymore. He also has all his Lego Gang stuff and still makes VR friendly animations and avatars now

Crazy I just now see this vid but I’m actually in LC and there is still hundreds of people in LC, the reason you still lagged out is prob because of the sound on the avi itself because they can like break the game and still be able to crash you and other people out the server

There are fallback crashers to, they crash even if you turn off the avatar, but nothing there says fallback crashers are hard to come by, they are and not easy to get.
i think best variant it's cut crash off at the root , but also do anything like a trust rank at which players can kick toxics players, harmfull or sexuality avatars (i know about veteran rank, but it's seems like something unattainable)
i was in the group of laughing coffin back in the time for like alittle bit of the time but i left them yea some of them still do play vrchat but i think there just making avis with animations now idk if they are still making new crashers and stuff and they changed there group name as well on what i know of them i think there now the graveyard is as what i know of them
ive seen a nzzy quest crashing avatar, and ive seen a crasher that my friend accidentally used in a avatar searching world but the scary part is there are harmless avis that look like crashers so its hard to tell anymore just play is private worlds or be very careful
I know so much about the crashers because I used to be in their discord servers using an alt account I can tell you my experience and send a couple of screenshots of things that they've posted in those servers and how these gangs work as a whole like what's going on behind the scenes
my avatar was the first demastration and obviously its okay to use it cause its public lol but I really don't like my avatars being accioated with crashers because last time that happened I got banned for no reason. and I do understand my avatars do resemble most gang avatars but that's just my style but great video anyways👍
9:05 i know some crashers and from what ive seen the only way to completely prevent yourself from crashing is by using a modded vrchat client that blocks things like avatars having too many polygons or shaders, even stopping photon events from being abused to crash,. (im not entirely sure how it works but even if you block the crasher they can still crash you using photon events)
I happen..to meet one of the laughing Coffin..members what they told me was absolutely terrifying understand This guy i had stuff far worse than what you saying He told me had 6,000 stolen accounts..including the ranks of Nuisance rank, Vistor Rank, New User Rank, User Rank, Known User Rank, Trusted User Rank, Veteran Rank, and the moderator legendary ranks. As we'll on some of the stolen accounts at this time..i happen..to be in my early stage where i happened to be one of those guys who liked to tests people's crashers sadly i haven't found anyone that can by pass the new system blocking avatar feature but thats basically the just of it.
even with avatars turned off, they have another method of crashing you by playing a corrupted audio file through their mic that causes a fatal runtime error. only way to prevent a known crasher is to hide avatar and also mute them. blocking them is ineffective for some reason i dont know why but if you block them they still have the ability to crash you through corrupting files. if you hide avi and mute them tho it renders their crash completely ineffective. that is until they rejoin you through an alternate sock account and use their methods before u have the chance to hide their avatar and mute them again.
Yo I have been playing vrchat since 2019 and I’ve gotten all of the coffin gangs avatars, there not necessarily all crasher there mostly just assets stolen from vrc mods and etc. and the music hurts ya ears a lot.

bro today i actually met one a co-owner of the laughing coffin i was terrified and i almost got doxed or put on KOS for stealin a laughing coffin avatar but i didnt know it at the time. he told me that someone in it could hunt me down and k1*l me man i wish i never joined that server.
So I love explaining things like this basically BSOD avatars are only accessible and makeable if the crash doesn't instantly close a persons game if the person doesn't close there game the fan will continuously spin until the "failsafe" for pc kicks in and BSODs you to protect your pc from DYING just to mention things about laughing coffin it was made by a guy that was 14 most people were scared of the gang itself but the people in it weren't that scary if you really knew them LC no longer plays Vrchat as far as I remember they have played since the beginning and no longer find it fun some of the old members people like POH an Price they are chill if you know them most gangs are just a bunch of people that are losers to be fair and cant do anything in reality the best people can do is crash you unless you block them so not much they can do after that The answer to your question at the end is a yes honestly standing above people in games is the main reason I play competitive games
gpu crashers werent really used on normal ppl. it was mostly gang on gang stuff, watch dogs, prime eight, laughing, i cant remember all the names. for ppl who just were annoying it was mostly just a standard crash or turn of the internet by burning their internet.
The last question about whether I would choose to tower over other players if I had the chance: my answer is no. I play games for fun, not to feel superior. Back in the early days of Gran Turismo 5 online, you could basically become unbeatable if you knew certain glitches on certain tracks and not to mention there was no penalisation for bad behaviour like ramming or corner cutting. I used to be one of those kids who would set an unrealistically fast lap and then kamikaze into anyone getting close to my time. However, I stopped because that isn't fun. There is no challenge or competition when you're just cheating and ruining everyone else's fun. You just become "that guy" everyone hates and then blocks. Eventually you find it hard to even get in a lobby because of the amount of people who blocked you. Moral of the story? Don't be "that guy", no one likes "that guy".
When LC came up in the video I immediately thought back to the time I dated the gang leader of LC. The relationship I was in is actually quite recent as of 11/12/2021, this was Vrchat based. apparently there are 2 LCs the "Good" one and the overly toxic one. The "Good" LC would only crash/destroy a players pc if they were pedophiles, groomers, etc. or if the victim had threatened the leader or something. However the overly toxic LC didn't give 2 fucks who you were they would crash you or destroy your pc because they thought it was fun and hilarious. The "Good" LC never went for innocent players basically while the overly toxic LC did.
i make animations and i dont make crashers. i try to stay away from making tho i just make laser animations. if i had the chance to tower over people i would let it go on past me. i dont wanna tower over people
I hate being aware that there crashers, have a friend who hangs around with crashers who just hates anybody who on PC. I got lucky for not unblocking everybody avatars and they was acting cocky as hell. It's annoying and I try to distance myself from those sort of jerk, don't know how to report problems like these but I always report their avatars

I have crasher buddies that were in entity, LC, toxicity, and one other one. I never got the appeal of crashing people just for the fun of it, but most members that can bluescreen your pc generally dont brag about it i had buddies that can d-dos and pull your pi and all that fun stuff. Some were toxic others only to people who deserved it, groomers, toxic people, MAPs, and so on. Others made anti ban and kick mods for the game as well.
I've been playing since 2018 and have personally seen and even got to inspect high powered crashers in unity as I had several friends who had connections with some of these supposed gangs. Gpu crashers are most commonly shaders as they offer the most flexibility since it is a kind of script. No, gpu crashers are not an instant gg, you can force close vrchat quickly enough or even just hit the power button to avoid the full effect. Laughing coffin did exist and it was not the only gang, there were some other less known but even larger ones I have run across.
That is true for the v2 or later gpu crashers but back when vrc was pretty new v1 gpu crashers were pretty unavoidable there might've beeen a way to save yourself but it happened so long ago and they only worked for so short of an amount of time I can't say for sure

BSOD crashers do not exist as it's not remotely possible even with RCE. you would need to override someones MBR to do that type of shit

guys ive played the game for 2 days and im a crasher i think i might have found the wrong group of people in a public lobby because they started giving me cool skins with lots of static and they were my only cool skins and this guy sounds like he's played for a while and dosent know about them. btw i only know how to crash force clone and disable clone i just learned to disable avatars and only play on MC Donalds. and mirrors hurt. they crash you instead of others.

My boyfriend was in Laughing Coffin and still has all his crasher avatars but he made them private so they can't be copied and used anymore. He also has all his Lego Gang stuff and still makes VR friendly animations and avatars now

Crazy I just now see this vid but I’m actually in LC and there is still hundreds of people in LC, the reason you still lagged out is prob because of the sound on the avi itself because they can like break the game and still be able to crash you and other people out the server
Also one other thing those gangs aren’t necessarily bad they help out with the community a lot and get rid of bad people and they do a lot more than just crash

i only started playing vrc in 2020 when questies took over but i still know about everything before than due to knowing people that have been around since the start
There are fallback crashers to, they crash even if you turn off the avatar, but nothing there says fallback crashers are hard to come by, they are and not easy to get.
i think best variant it's cut crash off at the root , but also do anything like a trust rank at which players can kick toxics players, harmfull or sexuality avatars (i know about veteran rank, but it's seems like something unattainable)

i was in the group of laughing coffin back in the time for like alittle bit of the time but i left them yea some of them still do play vrchat but i think there just making avis with animations now idk if they are still making new crashers and stuff and they changed there group name as well on what i know of them i think there now the graveyard is as what i know of them

ive seen a nzzy quest crashing avatar, and ive seen a crasher that my friend accidentally used in a avatar searching world but the scary part is there are harmless avis that look like crashers so its hard to tell anymore just play is private worlds or be very careful

GOU crashers are only affective to low end pc's, its very easy to optimize vrc for steamvr but that doesnt stop GPU crashers
There are even furry crasher groups now, there's one big one called fatality and it has splinterd into small ones

I know so much about the crashers because I used to be in their discord servers using an alt account
I can tell you my experience and send a couple of screenshots of things that they've posted in those servers and how these gangs work as a whole like what's going on behind the scenes
my avatar was the first demastration and obviously its okay to use it cause its public lol but I really don't like my avatars being accioated with crashers because last time that happened I got banned for no reason. and I do understand my avatars do resemble most gang avatars but that's just my style but great video anyways👍

9:05 i know some crashers and from what ive seen the only way to completely prevent yourself from crashing is by using a modded vrchat client that blocks things like avatars having too many polygons or shaders, even stopping photon events from being abused to crash,. (im not entirely sure how it works but even if you block the crasher they can still crash you using photon events)
Photon crash patched now but serenity on top and can lag photon until crash, but photon Protections ez to get and free

He told me had 6,000 stolen accounts..including the ranks of Nuisance rank, Vistor Rank, New User Rank, User Rank, Known User Rank, Trusted User Rank, Veteran Rank, and the moderator legendary ranks. As we'll on some of the stolen accounts at this time..i happen..to be in my early stage where i happened to be one of those guys who liked to tests people's crashers sadly i haven't found anyone that can by pass the new system blocking avatar feature but thats basically the just of it.

even with avatars turned off, they have another method of crashing you by playing a corrupted audio file through their mic that causes a fatal runtime error. only way to prevent a known crasher is to hide avatar and also mute them. blocking them is ineffective for some reason i dont know why but if you block them they still have the ability to crash you through corrupting files. if you hide avi and mute them tho it renders their crash completely ineffective. that is until they rejoin you through an alternate sock account and use their methods before u have the chance to hide their avatar and mute them again.
and Also you can find crasher's that send you to your menu if you turn on their avatars i found two people with lots of crashers

Yo I have been playing vrchat since 2019 and I’ve gotten all of the coffin gangs avatars, there not necessarily all crasher there mostly just assets stolen from vrc mods and etc. and the music hurts ya ears a lot.

bro today i actually met one a co-owner of the laughing coffin i was terrified and i almost got doxed or put on KOS for stealin a laughing coffin avatar but i didnt know it at the time. he told me that someone in it could hunt me down and k1*l me man i wish i never joined that server.
So I love explaining things like this basically BSOD avatars are only accessible and makeable if the crash doesn't instantly close a persons game if the person doesn't close there game the fan will continuously spin until the "failsafe" for pc kicks in and BSODs you to protect your pc from DYING just to mention things about laughing coffin it was made by a guy that was 14 most people were scared of the gang itself but the people in it weren't that scary if you really knew them LC no longer plays Vrchat as far as I remember they have played since the beginning and no longer find it fun some of the old members people like POH an Price they are chill if you know them most gangs are just a bunch of people that are losers to be fair and cant do anything in reality the best people can do is crash you unless you block them so not much they can do after that

gpu crashers werent really used on normal ppl. it was mostly gang on gang stuff, watch dogs, prime eight, laughing, i cant remember all the names. for ppl who just were annoying it was mostly just a standard crash or turn of the internet by burning their internet.
Some even used..on people who where on the k.o.s on a certain a community tag..

The last question about whether I would choose to tower over other players if I had the chance: my answer is no. I play games for fun, not to feel superior. Back in the early days of Gran Turismo 5 online, you could basically become unbeatable if you knew certain glitches on certain tracks and not to mention there was no penalisation for bad behaviour like ramming or corner cutting. I used to be one of those kids who would set an unrealistically fast lap and then kamikaze into anyone getting close to my time. However, I stopped because that isn't fun. There is no challenge or competition when you're just cheating and ruining everyone else's fun. You just become "that guy" everyone hates and then blocks. Eventually you find it hard to even get in a lobby because of the amount of people who blocked you. Moral of the story? Don't be "that guy", no one likes "that guy".

When LC came up in the video I immediately thought back to the time I dated the gang leader of LC. The relationship I was in is actually quite recent as of 11/12/2021, this was Vrchat based. apparently there are 2 LCs the "Good" one and the overly toxic one. The "Good" LC would only crash/destroy a players pc if they were pedophiles, groomers, etc. or if the victim had threatened the leader or something. However the overly toxic LC didn't give 2 fucks who you were they would crash you or destroy your pc because they thought it was fun and hilarious. The "Good" LC never went for innocent players basically while the overly toxic LC did.

I hate being aware that there crashers, have a friend who hangs around with crashers who just hates anybody who on PC. I got lucky for not unblocking everybody avatars and they was acting cocky as hell. It's annoying and I try to distance myself from those sort of jerk, don't know how to report problems like these but I always report their avatars

I have crasher buddies that were in entity, LC, toxicity, and one other one. I never got the appeal of crashing people just for the fun of it, but most members that can bluescreen your pc generally dont brag about it i had buddies that can d-dos and pull your pi and all that fun stuff. Some were toxic others only to people who deserved it, groomers, toxic people, MAPs, and so on. Others made anti ban and kick mods for the game as well.

I've been playing since 2018 and have personally seen and even got to inspect high powered crashers in unity as I had several friends who had connections with some of these supposed gangs. Gpu crashers are most commonly shaders as they offer the most flexibility since it is a kind of script.
No, gpu crashers are not an instant gg, you can force close vrchat quickly enough or even just hit the power button to avoid the full effect.
Laughing coffin did exist and it was not the only gang, there were some other less known but even larger ones I have run across.
That is true for the v2 or later gpu crashers but back when vrc was pretty new v1 gpu crashers were pretty unavoidable there might've beeen a way to save yourself but it happened so long ago and they only worked for so short of an amount of time I can't say for sure

I think I might actually have a crasher avatar saved. It's called Demon Boy and it has like 3 dances as gestures that have a ton of visual effects on them. It doesn't seem enough to crash anyone though so idk
