Wow… been listening to this tune for fifty years and somehow it gets better every time i hear it… Steven what a talent you are… you rock my brother!!!!!
I’m a college kid, and every night where I work after all the customers have left and it’s just a couple of us cleaning up and it’s dead silent and late, this tune loops through my brain
1:52 A song with a slight flaw. Croz and Nash did right to convinced Stills to keep this take. He hadn’t could make it better with a second shot. This version is second to none.
@@alfredpaquin3563 even though I never been in a war man I still fight battles and wars everyday inside of my mind so i kinda know what your meaning his music has also helped to soothe my soul and find my sanity but anyways brother thank you for your service and may God bless you
Top musician.....he used to jam with the likes of Jimmy hendrix....rumoured that he taught Mr hendrix a few things on the guitar......if its true.....then he is ONE hell of a guitar player.....he had some mad tunings, that obviously worked😊
We saw Graham Nash a few months ago March 2024 in Perth, Western Australia, and he sang this song. Wonderful concert (much better than I expected, it was my good wife who wanted to go) -- spectacular song!
I saw Stephen Stills back in the 80's and Crosby made an appearance. I saw Neil young during his '90's "Rockin' The Free World" tour (with Pearl Jam). I never had the good fortune of seeing Graham Nash or CSN&Y together. That would have been an incredible experience.
The video is from 1972, with stills singing live. The tuning is a bit lower on that version. The video used to be up on RUclips a couple of years ago but I can’t find it anymore. Must’ve gotten taken down
Then might I suggest you make your own video showing his fingers instead of criticizing the person who took the time and effort to create and post this one. Just a thought.
@@dianerobinson5336 Thank you for your timely response. FYI, I don't have access to any footage that would allow me to make my own video of Stephen Stills, but I did find better videos. This song is now in my repertoire. Sorry my commnt bothered you. ... Okay, not really sorry. But of course, you are allowed to have your own opinion just as I'm allowed to have mine.

Stephen, Stephen, I love his voice. I miss those guys.

BEAUTIFUL LYRICS. BEAUTIFUL GUITAR SOUND AND GUITAR WORK. LOVE THIS JAM. 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
I am so glad I was alive when this music was made
I'm from Atlanta Texas we have music history
So touching after all these years to see so young and fresh, yes, I remember the feeling of those times. we need it NOW
Those troubled times blessed us with the best music
Too bad the music today isn't as proportionally as good. Nowhere close, in fact.
Got me through 2 tours in Vietnam. I'm somewhat sane because of him. I think.

Excelente rola de Stephen!!!!!!
This song comes from the Deja Vu album by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, it is basically a solo song by Stephen Stills.
Still, one of the coolest songs he wrote, and he wrote quite a few. Check out his 1st solo album, "Stephen Stills"
❤
Nunca enjoei de ouvir os quatro tá faltando Neil Yong.
❤❤❤
❤💜❤
World class narcissist is SS.
Thank you.
This video and the audio do not belong together.
The audio is clearly from the Deja Vu recording. Great song.
@@PBSenior5 a masterpiece song!

The MTV generation. It's about the music not the image ffs.
when music was great
I DO NOT love what you did with it. I want to watch his fingers and you're showing me stills of the band. Useless.
bahahaha use your ears old man
Hard but true.
Then might I suggest you make your own video showing his fingers instead of criticizing the person who took the time and effort to create and post this one. Just a thought.
