They make a beautiful couple!
I love this show. I loved Carroll O'Connor's role as Bill Gillespie. He was such a talented actor. Love him!
Thank you for this!
I really like In the Heat of the Night & this is the first time I got to see Harriet & Bill get married.
Whaaaaaat? LOL He got married to a black woman? That's what's up. What a twist. Good job. Talk about character development. Love it.
Indeed!
Her son Eugene didn't approve of it Besides there is nothing wrong with a black woman marrying a white man or other races White and other races marry black men So what's the difference?
That's on MeTV week days at 11:00am.
I love this show ❤❤❤❤
I think this episode was to erase his Archie character some actors say character stays with them because they’re so convincing 🤔
Except Archie sometimes channels through Bill Gillespie. Like both wear a ring on their middle finger & sometimes when Bill Gillespie's talking, you can hear Archie's NY accent = like when he says ,"hoid" instead of "heard." Lol.
@@jdmarr2259 or when he says paahka instead of parker!
LOVELY MARRIAGE ❤❤
Except I don't get why that first scene was included.
That man was trying to kill the chief and his wife
Everything about this show stands the test of time. Subject matter is still relevant today.
Wasn't there a two-hour movie special following this episode?
Several of them. Some of which are on Tubi
Yes, there were five.
And while 'Til Death Do Us Part is a common phrase at a wedding, it was also the name of the British series that inspired all in the family
Yes it was
I always had the hots for Denise Nicholas. One of the most beautiful women on the planet back then IMHO.
@MrSpanky2001 remember she was on Room 222??????!!!...I hope you will reply to this
Look out now.
Very Sweet
I consider Dangerous Engagement the real series finale, while all the TV films are separate.
Heat of the night is a fake version of Mississippi and it’s just not Mississippi enough
Do he like color in real life
I hear they hated each in real life.
I wonder how the Archir character would react! Cant brlieve it!
I am as old fashioned as they come! At 73 never got married and could not even consider marrying out of my race like that.
Im more like Archie!
