Very interesting thank you please keep sharing
Thank you, I will
My friend had but so many people have issues when devices are placed into their necks and lower back. I’m sure some do well, but so many times patients suffer for years, just read comments and look at these horror stories patients are posting on RUclips, Facebook etc
Should ask my patients then
Devices as in fusion cages or Artificial Disc replacement?
Listen to the stories of people in tears with leg pain from disk issues. I’m more than likely headed to fusion and I’ll do my research and hope for the best.
@@DonnallySpineConsultcocky, insensitive
Sciatica ia horrible for most all day but esp getting up out of bed. It feels like someone is stabbing & electric shocking you down the leg. For me it's both legs L4-S1. For me to work full duty & be without pain I need to do surgery. Mine happened at work. Research for the best surgeon too. Luckily for me I get the surgeon that treats Firemen EMT & Police Officers.
Once fused, can you live a normal life?
Definitely
That’s what they put in mine from
L-5 thru L-1 with 10 screws in them 2 of those drilled in each of my Pelvis
✅
🤯 what a great evolution in technology.
Yep!!
Waiting for this to become advanced enough to replace my fusion
Yea
@@DonnallySpineConsultcan you do that in the C5 C6 C7 area?
Itemized bill showed this little guy is $15k by itself. $2k for each set of 2 pedicle screws, and then $7k for the rods
Maybe! Varies hospital or hospital and their contracts I guess?
Do you remember your first “solo”?
No
Great video! 👍🏻Does it affect mobility on l5 s1?
Yes it does
If it moves up and down and side to side, how does it affect mobility?
It doesn't move, the bone grows into it becoming one solid vertebrae
Who makes this cage?
Amplify
how do you feel about fusion at l5/s1. since the segment doesn't move much, is it better than adr?
Hey there, I do about 15 new patient telemedicines💻🌎 every week. Here is the best path forward:
1- email your insurance card to Spine@TSCspine.com (We don’t take HMOs or Medicaid, but can private pay unless Medicaid)
2- if we take that insurance THEN upload your images to my portal for our 1st visit.
3- I must have X-rays and MRI, X rays are critical. Just MRI isn’t enough. Need to be from last 12 months. Nothing older is needed, or wanted.
4- You need to get your CD 💿 of your X ray and MRI (imaging centers will never send them to us)
5- On the top of my website (www.DonnallySpine.com) is the link to UPLOAD images, from YOUR HOME! 🤯🥰
6- To recap: email us, get CDs, THEN upload!
Step by step:

If HMO you can reach out to a Patient Navigator at www.sonoSpineSurgery.com and they can try to help connect us! Or for HMOs email: Refer@sonospinesurgery.com
I just had my L5-S1 fused 9 months ago. I had a 360 and have a cage inserted. I’m doing great just need to slow it down. lol.
@@typure81 that's awesome. How's the daily pain?
@@binary I’m doing great! So grateful for the procedure after being in chronic pain for 16 years. I do however need to take it easy because I like to move around a lot. ☺️
@@typure81 that's awesome. Best wishes going forward and strengthen your core so you don't compromise your other levels
Neat! :)
Thanks!
Cool! How long do these last? Don’t other type of replacement discs wear out?
No
Can these be used instead if rods in spinal fusion for scoliosis?
This is a fusion
I have that in my spine hss did my last fusion and it sucked so bad
Ok
Shit they ground down c3 through t2, inserted titanium and used the ground vertebrae as cement
✅
No idea what that means
Only fuse as absolute last resort!! Disc replacement with Lp-Esp is the best option currently available in the world !
Ummmmmmmm
😊😊😊
✌️
Can you go swimming with it
Yes
Did I see MADE ON CHINA on a part?
Lol
Got to hurt
Yes
Spinal tap
👍
Your spine was made in china.
Lol
I hope the cage isn’t made in China as the bone model is made in China
Lol
A lot of "devices" are made these days that are useless...the marketing is above life of a man, because of money. The fusions that were made some decades ago worked better than these days... different cages, newer technology poor outcomes. You should explain better what kind of bone graft are you using to achieve the fusion. Almost all the syntethic invented recently are not promoting fusions, resulting in pseudosrtrosis. Bone grafts from your body is better than any kind of "new technology".
That’s just not accurate, level 1 data supports.
Made in china 🤕
Lol
